How is Captain Casia alive in the Beyond the Frontier books? He was killed along with Commander Yin when the shuttle they were on exploded near the end of Valiant. Yet not only is he still alive in Dreadnaught, he's still in command of the battleship Conqueror.

* The Watsonian answer? It's actually Casia's more competent and less obnoxious brother, who got assigned to ''Conqueror'' because some troll at the personnel bureau thought it'd be funny. The Doylist answer? Hemry just forgot he killed Casia off. It wouldn't be the first time he did something like that in the series.

In the epilogue to ''Literature/TheGenesisFleet'', John Geary says he never knew that there were marines in his family. And yet in ''Boundless'' he and Tanya visit the Geary mansion on Glenlyon which has a prominent picture of the original Glenlyon Gearys, including Robert, Lyn, and their children. Their oldest daughter is said to be wearing her marine uniform. So how could he not have known about the marine thing?

* Why does Geary have to name the new stars the fleet goes to in the early ''Beyond the Frontier'' books? Shouldn't human astronomers have already done so centuries before the events of the series at minimum?
