* Since the Ultimate Universe wasn't restored, it's apparent that all of Miles's friends and teammates are (presumed) dead. [[AngstWhatAngst Why isn't he sad about that?]] It's like they didn't even exist.
** The general impression is that nobody quite remembers the "old" division between the universes. It's not that Miles is expressly a survivor of a dead universe, along with the handful of friends and family who made the trip with him; it's that when Reed restarted the universe at the end of ''Secret Wars'', he seamlessly folded the surviving elements into it. A couple of different books have mentioned that nobody's quite sure ''what'' happened before that eight-month time skip.
*** In ComicBook/TheUnbelievableGwenpool, it is revealed that Miles doesn't remember his mother dying. It seems that when Molecule Man brought Miles into 616, he altered his history so he was always there. So, he doesn't remember the people who died, nor ever being in the Young Ultimates team.
*** It's a case of DependingOnTheWriter. In the crossover with ComicBook/SpiderGwen he says he's seen universes destroyed and in ''ComicBook/SpiderMen II'' he makes it clear that he ''does'' remember the Ultimate Universe. He just doesn't remember it when Christopher Hastings (the author of ''Gwenpool'') is writing him.
* The amount of adjustment it would take to bring in Miles with all his family and friends seems like a lot. How did he get his spider powers? How does he fit in the mythology as a transplanted totem?
** Simple answer: he does not. He got his powers in a universe without such "totem" stuff, and then cosmic forces tried to rearrange things after ''Secret Wars'' as best as they could. Have you read the ComicBook/PowerGirl mini from before ''ComicBook/InfiniteCrisis''? Because the answer to both this question and the previous one would eventually be a story like that one.
