* Why instead of referring to the totem fusion like Voltron, didn't Nate compare it to Captain Planet? (Other than Voltron being more contemporary now) CP's formation was closer to the Totem Fusion then the 5 lion merger.

**Take into account how Voltron and Captain Planet act after they are formed. Voltron requires the 5 pilots to come together and form one entity, but they act as one to control it. Captain Planet however requires the 5 ring bearers to combine their powers to call him forth, but he acts autonomously.

*** More importantly, what about Mari or the Hawks? Kuasa showed up because it was a chance to fight alongside her grandmother, but apparently Mari wasn't bothered? And Jax came out of a five-year retirement to help his old team, but not the Hawks (Kendra in particular being part of the original team)?

** Setting aside that each hero is caught up in their own individual crises right now (Reign, Devoe and Diaz): In Supergirl's case, it's never stated that the Time Bureau has cross-dimensional technology with which to contact her. For Flash, Barry may have supposed that Wally is speedster enough for the Legends' needs. And short of Ragman reappearing, the mystical forces at work here are a few power levels above anything either Team Arrow can offer.

* Since Ava brought back assorted allies from earlier in the season to help out in the final fight, why couldn't she have also stopped off to pick up, say, The Flash, Arrow or even arranged for Supergirl to cross over since this was in theory a planet-threatening event?
