** It is possible that being able to switch Valorplate requires someone to be genderfluid. It is worth noting that all of the entries in the Codex regarding Orin avoid assigning them any gender and use gender-neutral terms. We also know that there is an organic body somewhere in the Valorplate, as Orin is described as being injured at the start of the game. On the other hand, Macros is also described with masculine terms (including "brother"). It is possible that the voice shift is just a quirk of Valorplate.
