*** Maybe he was the one taking the photo.
** I'll try to explain it:
*** In "I Need U", the story is basically a group of friends who drifted apart and are currently facing their own personal issues (Suga is obsessed with fire and wants to kill himself to be with his mother who died in a fire; Jimin is haunted by an incident in the past and tries to drown or clean himself intensely; J-Hope is addicted to taking medication to the point of overdosing; RM is impoverished and struggles to make ends meet; Taehyung has an abusive drunkard father whom he later killed; Jungkook is looking for trouble because he feels unwanted; Jin watched his friends drift apart and is unable to do anything).
*** "Prologue" is the prologue (duh) to the events of "I Need U", before their group of friends drifted apart due to an incident. Taehyung going to the top of a ruined building while his friends sit by the edge of the dried up pool foreshadows his suicidal thoughts. He tries to commit suicide by jumping off the scaffolding while they were out at sea but RUN suggests that he survived the attempt. At the end of the video, Jin realizes that something is off about him when his own image is not there in the photo.
*** RUN also showcases everyone still being close, acting like immoral rowdy delinquents but there is already turmoil beginning to brew. Suga and Jungkook, who used to be close, get into a heated argument after Suga gets drunkenly violent. Most of their teen rowdiness could be considered flashbacks prior to the events of Taehyung's suicide in Prologue.
