* The exchange where Elliot keeps pronounces Aang's name wrong and Dr. Picani having to quickly compose himself and plaster on a smile is extremely hilarious, given that many fans of the show can relate after watching the...interesting [[Film/TheLastAirbender M. Night Shyamalan adaptation]].

* As Elliot explains the relationship he has with the members of his family, Dr. Picani notes the similarity between him and [[Characters/StevenUniverseAmethyst Amethyst]].

* This exchange, where Dr. Picani asks Dot why exactly she and Larry are there for a session. He asks her à la [[WesternAnimation/BugsBunny Bugs Bunny]], to which they both laugh in amusement while Larry gives a look of confusion. This goes on for a while...until Dot says, with a completely and utter straight-face, [[Main/MoodWhiplash that she's been noticing a disconnect between them that started a few months ago]].
