** Episode 4 would feature more of Ben's [[CrossesTheLineTwice absurd]] comments Adam pushes back on him stating that Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and Belgium all look the same and he decides to double down.

* Ben and Sam brainstorming ideas on how to close the three-hour lead time that Adam has built up:

* Sam pokes fun at Ben & Adam saying he hopes they miss their flight.
* Ben and Adam declaring that Sam and Brian [[TemptingFate are totally screwed]] close to the end of the first episode is almost immediately rebuffed when the former two claim California & Nevada, giving them a lot of options and putting the latter two on the defensive.
* At the end of the season, Sam casually walks out from behind the statue Ben & Adam are in front of to reveal that he and Brian already claimed the state of Montana, winning them the game via Connect Four. Adam's reaction to seeing Sam is hilarious.

'''Ben:''' OH!! (jumps and shakes his fists in frustration) You had to hide behind the thing?!
* The trophy that Adam gives Sam, [[StylisticSuck in all of its blatantly photoshopped glory]]... only for Sam to immediately drop it.

* Sam jokes that Ben and Adam's main advantage over him and Joseph is that they don't have jobs (outside of making ''Jet Lag'') like he and Joseph do and hence have more free time than them to strategize. He then almost immediately follows this up by revealing that [[HypocriticalHumor he had enough free time to make a spreadsheet of every single transatlantic flight from the U.S]].

* Ben & Adam's "[[TheAllegedCar go kart]]" is so flimsy that when Ben tries riding it down an incline, he ends up going backwards and the handle breaks off the first time he rides it.

* Adam putting in the extra effort to bring an elaborate disguise including a long wig, a green soccer top and new trousers to avoid being seen by Ben and Sam, only for the full disguise to be unbearably hot to wear all the time, resulting in him taking the wig off and [[EpicFail forgetting to put it back on]] before getting off a train and being immediately caught by them. To add insult to injury, Ben makes a dig at his disguise soon after with his assertion that he might have taken a suboptimal travel route but "at least I'm not wearing a wig".
* During Ben's second turn as the runner, Adam and Sam's frantic calculations and theories on what Ben could be planning are humorously contrasted with Ben mainly just chilling out and wandering wherever the mood strikes him.

* Sam complains that Brian used $400 of Sam's own money to buy a telescope but Brian insists it was a necessary purchase. Not too long after this argument, they do a challenge to photograph one team member from far away that would be the perfect opportunity for Brian to prove that his $400 purchase was justified... except that he utterly fails to get the telescope to work.
* Ben and Adam decide that the best way to "seduce and debauch an unmarried woman" and break Michigan's weird law against that is to find a woman on Tinder who's willing to spread public misinformation. The misinformation they get her to spread in a [=TikTok=]? That Brian isn't Irish, but British.
** As an extra bit of funny, they spent $40 of their boss's money to get more views for their Tinder request.

* The first challenge at the Te Paki Sand Dunes involves sand-boarding down the dunes, which is built up to as both teams race against each-other to get to the top while the music swells... [[NegatedMomentOfAwesome until Sam and Adam start going down at a snail's pace]]. Complete with RecordScratch. Also, Ben makes fun of Sam while the latter is going down.

* Ben and Adam screwing up memorizing and reciting the Okaihau Express song so many times that they begin swearing furiously every time they get it wrong. Special mentions go to the time they misread the "when they're drippin' from the rack" line as "when they're drippin' from the ''[[AccidentalInnuendo sack]]''" and Toby's statement that she hopes Ben and Adam are having fun [[DescriptionCut seguing right into]] Adam screaming with enraged frustration.

* Ben & Adam end up doing the easiest challenge in the game: using the Hundertwasser Public Toilets. On its own it's pretty mundane, but looking at the challenge card it's possible to see that the challenge has a veto penalty of 30 minutes! [[NoodleIncident One has to wonder what could possibly happen in a bathroom that would force a veto.]]

* Sam, while complimenting Toby on her math [=YouTube=] channel, leans closer to the camera to stage-whisper that he actually ''hates'' math.

** The challenge in Wellington involves running for Prime Minister, and making speeches in front of city landmarks. Because of the curse, the speeches Toby gives and the ways she describes the position are pretty funny.

* After Sam and Scotty tag Ben, all three have to ride the same train back to Tokyo Station. Sam takes the opportunity to make Ben participate in a knockoff Snack Zone called "Choo Choo Chews" where snacks must be rated "how many Choos out of Chew."
* One of the flags is a bottle of "tea" that inexplicably has a whole fish in it. The "tea" turned out to be soy sauce, with Sam and Scotty only realizing that it was soy sauce after they drank it.
* At the end of episode 3, Ben knows that he's close to Sam's location but says that he'll walk in unpredictable patterns so that Sam won't catch him. [[InstantlyProvenWrong Cue]] the tracker showing that Ben is walking in a straight line to Sam's location and him being caught almost immediately afterwards.

* Adam putting in the extra effort to bring an elaborate disguise to avoid being seen by Ben and Sam, only to [[EpicFail forget to put the wig back on]] before getting off a train and be immediately caught by them. To add insult to injury, Ben makes a dig at his disguise soon after with his assertion that he might have taken a suboptimal travel route but "at least I'm not wearing a wig".

* When Sam and Toby win the season, the Blatantly Digitally-Edited-In Trophy gag is brought back yet again with Ben pulling out a very small "trophy" for them from his pocket. Then Adam says they're just kidding and he pulls out a much bigger "trophy" that's so heavy that Sam and Toby struggle to hold it up together until they drop it, whereupon the "trophy" sprouts wings and flies away.

** A rock cover of "The Okaihau Express" plays over the end credits to the season.

* The RunningGag of Ben and Adam having "The Snack Zone" breaks to taste various New Zealand snacks, especially with how these breaks are given elaborate opening and closing animations that are almost always longer than the actual Snack Zone breaks which are usually just them saying a single line about the snack they just ate.

** Toby accidentally says "on'''e'''" almost immediately after the curse goes into effect, and Sam [[OhCrap exclaims]] and motions to Toby with his finger "one" and she immediately does a FacePalm once she catches on.

* Sam complains that Brian used $400 of his money to buy a telescope but Brian insists it was a necessary purchase. Not too long after this argument, they do a challenge to photograph one team member from far away that would be the perfect opportunity for Brian to prove that his $400 purchase was justified... except that he utterly fails to get the telescope to work.

* Adam complaining while doing a "100 squats" challenge that he was on vacation when the producing team came up with this challenge and it's "the dumbest thing we've ever come up with".
