* HBO ran some humorous promos for the series as well, featuring Doc and Sprocket.
** In 1983, the network ran a contest awarding viewers a trip to the ''Fraggle Rock'' set as the grand prize. In the promo, Doc receives a notice about the contest in the mail. Sprocket's reactions as Doc reads about the prizes viewers can receive are priceless, as is his reaction when Doc asks him if he knows where "Fraggle Rock" is. The promo ends with Doc saying, "Frankly, I don't think there are such things as Fraggles." Cut to Gobo sticking his head through the hole in Doc's workshop and turning to the viewer with a "WTF?" look on his face.
** Some promos for the third season aired in late 1984. In one, Doc and Sprocket are returning from a seashell-collecting romp on the beach, and Doc is explaining how one can hear the ocean in certain seashells. Sprocket picks up a seashell which plays the ''Fraggle Rock'' ending theme along with an announcer intoning a promo for the new season, and the dog starts to dance and sing (as well as a dog ''can'' "sing") along to the music. In another, Doc wonders aloud what Fraggles look like, and proceeds to describe them ''perfectly'', but [[CassandraTruth ignores Sprocket's excited reaction]] and decides it's not true and Fraggles must be fictional. Cut to an exasperated Sprocket as the promo ends.
* The 1985 ''Fraggle Rock'' children's storybook ''Gobo and the Prize from Outer Space.'' Gobo retrieves a contest entry form from Doc's workshop, mistaking it as a postcard from his uncle. The Fraggle Five decide to enter the drawing to win a bicycle, having rejected the alternate prizes of $5,000 cash (Boober thinks dollar bills are poison leaves) and a trip to New York (they already have enough to eat and don't need the skyscrapers they mistake for giant Doozer constructions). But then, they can't decide who should get the bike, and end up [[SilentTreatment not speaking to each other]] after a frightful argument (Red still finds a way to annoy Mokey on purpose, by making sure her dives are in ''exactly'' the right place to splash her). Gobo finally gets everyone to make up, just in time for the Fraggles to discover that they've won the bicycle—which ends up being too big for ''any'' of them to ride. They leave it for Doc, and the book ends with Doc and Sprocket (off panel) [[HereWeGoAgain arguing over who gets to use it first]].
* Another children's book, ''Meet the Fraggles'' (1985), gives advice on how to entertain Fraggles, Doozers and Gorgs if they should stop by the reader's house for a visit. In a nutshell, the book's advice on having Gorgs over is: DON'T.
* The ''WesternAnimation/RobotChicken'' parodies of ''Fraggle Rock''. In one segment, the Doozers deport a worker whom they know to be an "illegal" because he can't speak their language. In another segment, a parody of ''Literature/WatershipDown'', Fraggle Rock is destroyed and the Fraggles have to find a new home. This being ''Robot Chicken'', it ends about as well as one would expect.
