* Bambi's revenge of the above mentioned porcupine. As the hunting dogs close in on him, he gets the porcupine's attention again....and then catapults him onto the one of the dogs. The stung dog runs away terrified while the porcupine lands quills down back on his log, making a bewildered groan.
* After their father and son bonding montage, Bambi is still too hyped to turn in for the night and babbles to the Great Prince about their day's adventures. The audience is treated to a shot of the Great Prince quietly growing more and more exasperated with Bambi and looking so done with everything, while still trying to calm the fawn down.
* The difference between Bambi and the Great Prince's personalities is shown perfectly in one shot where Friend Owl walks in on them being sillier than usual. Bambi is entirely unphased by Friend Owl's appearance, while the Great Prince looks quietly mortified. The Great Prince nudges Bambi to the side to try to save face, which Bambi looks miffed about for a moment before the fawn tries to pick up where they left off.
* In Bambi's dream sequence, a butterfly flutters around Bambi to his awe. In something of a parody of the first film it lands, not on his tail, but in his mouth. Cue Bambi trying to nudge the butterfly out with his tongue.
* Bambi reacquainting with Faline at the start of the film, now with Thumper playing MoodKiller:
