* Gaia has a gold border around his protector, whilst Agul V1 has a silver border and doesn't gain a gold border until Agul V2. During his time as Agul V1, Fujimiya wrongly believed that HumansAreBastards and sought to defend Earth by destroying humans; the silver border represents that his ideology is an ''inferior'' one to Gamu's beliefs of defending Earth ''and'' humanity. It is only until he decides to give humans a chance that he regains his metaphorical heart of gold and powers up into Agul V2, who has a gold border around his protector.

* Why does Gaia V2 have a black stripe, even though as his new form after receiving Agul's light it would be more logical for him to gain a blue stripe? It's because basalt rock, volcanic rocks predominantly found in oceanic ridges, are black in color.
* The Nature Control Machines all resemble the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonsh%C5%8D Bonsh%C5%8D]], a Buddhist bell traditionally rung 108 times as part of Japanese new year rituals to purge humanity of temptations, fitting the Nature Control Machines' role of purging Earth of humans' negative influence and starting over again.

* Gamu receiving Agul Force from Fujimiya in the first glance might be a case of MidSeasonUpgrade for Gaia but remember Gaia and Agul ''is'' the will of the Earth itself so it is appropriate for the ''sea'' to resonate back with the ''earth''.
