** This goes even deeper when you remember that plenty of Marines deserted due to Cross' actions, even in places that didn't leave the World Givernment; what will happen to the villages, towns and countries which relied on them for protection? The Great Age of Piracy is still ongoing, and those who do keep on helping people might not be enough, especially without the support of the World Government. Worse still, in Marineford Misery, it's mentioned that no one deserts following TheReveal of why they're ''really'' [[SinsOfTheFather executing Ace, because those who would have cared have already become turncoats or left. * The Halloween 2018 Special is hopefully non-canon, cause if it is, a ''lot'' of Fridge Horror is opened. The island the Straw Hats come across turns out to house what seems to be their worlds equivalent of the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waste_Isolation_Pilot_Plant Waste Isolation Pilot Plant]], the area filled with concrete and containing a warning in the Void Language, suggesting the facility to be centuries old. As Vivi points out though, concrete ''isn't'' centuries old in the ''One Piece'' world, and Robin notes that the warning left in Void Language, i.e. the oldest known language and roughly 800-900 years old, is much more ''recent'' than the rest of the facility. Cross isn't able to dwell on it for too long and considers the very notion impossible, but the implication is clear: it's not the equivalent, it ''is'' the WIPP from our world, and the ''One Piece'' world ''is'' our world. A [[StandardPostApocalypticSetting Post Apocalyptic World]] where the majority of the planet has become engulfed by the seas, all happening ''before'' the Void Century, meaning roughly a thousand years ago. The biggest horror from that idea is rather obvious: ''what the fuck caused this to happen?''

* Kuma sent Cross to the World Nobles' private prison, The Seventh Hell of Darkness, The Eternal Rotting Tree, Serpent. It features horrors like mindbreaking GeniusLoci, fellow prisoners that have descended to cannibalistic, rabid beasts, little to no visibility and likely no food and other necessary supplies. Lets hope that Sanji gave a Cross plenty of non perishables or the third mate might need to resort to cannibalism. When asked about how Cross and Soundbite's mental health at the end of their trials, the authors response was not even remotely reassuring.

* It seems rather strange that saint charloss is a fan of SBS(that being the reason why they still don't send CP0 after the straw hats)but there are several explanations:

.the celestial dragons live a life without fear of consequences which generates bad judgment skills, charloss sees all the chaos the straw hats perform as fun because he fails to understand that the actions are detrimental to him(and his kind)in the long run.

.among the crew is vivi nefertari who is considered a traitor because her ancestor did not want to leave arabasta and join her kind,so charloss(and the rest of the dragons)would only view the SBS with the hope that vivi would die as a pirate as they would consider it appropriate for her.

** It could also explain why Soundbite specifically got the Noise-Noise Fruit, instead of any regular pirate or marine. If the Noise-Noise Fruit has some agency over who eats it, like the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika, than Soundbite, as a Transponder Snail, who's very species are essentially a living communication device, part of the crow who's captain is the [[AnthropomorphicPersonification living embodiment]] of freedom and who would later actively work against the censorship of a dogmatic regime, would be the perfect vessel. Plus, the Fruit would never want to be consumed by a marine, or anyone else working for an organization which is actively suppressing the voices of the world's people.

* That cross accidentally(or not)pressed doflamingo's berserk button to hang the dendenmushi on him several times seems to be for doflamingo's pride and entitlement but in reality there is a deeper reason:doflamingo's father when they were being persecuted for being former world nobles tried to call and was hanged several times by his fellow nobles when he tried to return, being that the main reason why his mother died(there he would have the best medical treatments)and he ended up being tortured, now his fury for being hanged is better understood;it brings back painful memories.

* Although it is strange that caribou is afraid of teach and wants to leave his crew when in chapter 1107 he reveals that he admires him and was his reason for being a pirate (similar to bartholomew and luffy), there is actually an explanation: teach's villainous adaptation in this bites makes him a crueler and tougher character who is willing to kill a mutineer to steal his power and who serves as an example while (subtly) threatening the rest of his crew to fulfill his dream, it is not strange that caribou is scaring them.

\n* That cross accidentally(or not)pressed doflamingo's berserk button to hang the dendenmushi Doflamingo is furious at Cross repeatedly hanging up on him several times without letting him get a word in edgewise on the SBS. While it initially seems to be for doflamingo's pride and entitlement but because of his ego—and probably is, in reality there is a deeper reason:doflamingo's father part—it's worth noting that his family experienced similar treatment when they were being persecuted undergoing persecution for being former world nobles tried to call World Nobles, which tied into his mother's death and was hanged several the worst times by of his fellow nobles when he tried life.
* In canon, as revealed in Chapter 1107, Caribou was

Here, however, Caribou meets Teach under less than ideal circumstances and is forced into his mother died(there he would have the best medical treatments)and he ended up being tortured, now crew. And following his fury for being hanged is better understood;it brings back painful memories.

** That said, there is ''one'' post-Dressrosa secret that Cross has the potential to leak - Pluton's location. Since Robin already knows that Pluton is in Wano thanks to Alabasta's Poneglyph, she could potentially inform Cross about it ahead of time, and whether or not he decides to blab about it before the Wano arc begins could have serious ramifications on how Wano plays out in this timeline.

** Chinjao, the former leader of the Happo army, admitted that if he knew about the blood relationship between Luffy (grandson) and Dragon (son) with Garp, he would have hunted them down. Now, between the SBS making that known far sooner than in canon and the possibility that Sai will still merge the Niho army with theirs to form the much more powerful Juppo army, it paints a grim objective for the Straw Hats and the Revolutionary Army.

* In canon, Doflamingo was able to get ahold of Ace's Devil Fruit sometime after the latter's death at Marineford. It's possible that given the plethora of fruit users present, and his dealings in the underworld, he likely had several "funeral bouquets" ready just in case to market them off after the War.

It’s deep underwater, the only way out is a violent whirlpool, and she’s a [[SuperDrowningSkills devil fruit user]]. When complaining that she can’t swim, the spirits of the derelict ships remind her that she’s a ship and thus ''has never swum in her life''. Because ''ships float''. While that sinks in, they tack on a DareToBeBadass to top it off, because she’s a Straw Hat and impossible is their bread and butter.
