* In the Season 1 Finale, it's revealed that Superintendent Vil Endenemys is not only Melvin's future self, but also a cyborg. Which brings up the question, how did Melvinborg get like that? [[WeCanRebuildHim Was he in a horrible accident, and had to be rebuilt in order to save his life?]] Or... ''did he do it to himself on purpose''? Considering what Melvin was initially intending to do to himself before accidentally turning himself into the Bionic Booger Boy in Book 6... I wouldn’t put the second option past him.

* In "The Vexing Villainy of the Vile Vimpire", some of the sad things Captain Underpants says while under the influence of the Vimpire's bite (i.e. "[[PrematurelyBald I started going bald in my teens]]!", "Everyone forgot my birthday!", "I’ve never felt truly loved!") sound a bit out of character for him, considering his [[CloudCuckoolander personality]] and (what he thinks is) [[HumanAliens his backstory]]. But then this becomes brilliant (and a massive TearJerker) when you realize that these ''aren't'' Captain's memories... they’re '''''Krupp's'''''.
* The HardTruthAesop given at the end of “The Soggy Salvation of the Swirling Sweatnami” (that 'some people are just born bad') actually gains another layer to it when you realize ''who'' delivers it: '''Erica'''. Given the fact that [[AmbiguousSituation she (somehow) remembers the alternate timeline]], she probably realized George and Harold were behind it and gave them this aesop as a way to dissuade them from trying to alter the past again.

*** Speaking of which, fans noticed that Melvinborg no longer has freckles like his past self does. While some theorized that they simply faded as he got older, but in the episode were we see a flashback to Melvinborg's car accident that led to him becoming a cyborg, he had his freckles then. Which means Melvin’s surviving half was possibly so badly burnt that he needed ''skin grafts'' to properly heal.
* In episode 5, after catching them trying to [[ToiletPaperPrank T.P. the entire school]], Mr. Krupp punishes the boys and tells them that after they clean up all the toilet paper, he wants them to mow the school’s football field... with their ''teeth''. Why would he come up with a punishment so unrealistic? Then you remember that back in the day, farm owners usually had their livestock eat the grass instead of using a lawnmower. Mr. Krupp grew up on a cattle farm. And then you remember ''what [[AbusiveParents his mother is like]]''. Bernice most likely forced him do that as a punishment at least once when he was young.

* Speaking of Episode 7, Bo is partially connected to why Melvin didn't get accepted into Eliteanati Academy[[note]]Melvin needed to keep the student body scared of Bo to get a recommendation letter from Krupp. After Episode 7, no one is afraid of Bo anymore.[[/note]]. Melvin completely mutated Bo (which including affecting his brain) when a recommendation letter was at stake...who knows what Melvin might do to him now that he's been outright rejected?

* Mr. Krupp not recognizing Altitooth in S3 E5 makes sense when you remember it was Captain Underpants and not him that met that monster.

Added DiffLines:

* It is rather unsettling to know how easy it is for people to mutate and Melvin's inventions aren't always the cause. Ordinary everyday substances colliding with random objects plus one unlucky person is all takes for a mutant to come onto the scene. Thankfully the process is reversible.
