* When the series began, Carlota was constantly plotting with Victoria and Soraya to get "María, la del barrio" out of the house. Time passes. Victoria becomes best friends with Maria, Soraya manages to get hated by everybody and left for dead, María turns into a fine lady, and 15 years pass in timeskips. Now, Carlota y just in the gossips for the sake of it, she's no longer trying to get María out of the house... and why would she? If she did not want to have a "savage" at home, that concern became pointless when María became a lady, and 15 years is more than enough time for the initial resentment to slowly go away.
