* Mr. Cat easily befriends Cramoisie and even unofficially "adopts" her after meeting her due to their similar personalities, and she seems to enjoy his company as well. Unbeknownst to Mr. Cat, Cramoisie often goes out of her way to harass her sister Violasse for simply existing. Considering that Mr. Cat was mistreated by his brothers and that's the main reason why he left home, what's going to happen to his and Cramoisie's friendship once he finds out that his new friend is doing the same thing to their sibling as his abusers did to him?

* In the last episode of season 5, Stumpy is nearly hit by a car and rescued in the nick of time by Vitamine. Cramoisie tells the other sisters that she thinks it was Violasse's fault because she thinks Violasse's bad luck rubbed off on Stumpy. As if this wasn't bad enough, the other sisters are seen shooting irritated looks at Violasse in the next scene. It's possible that they believe Cramoisie and that they too are willing to blame Violasse for endangering their beloved brother.

* Mr. Cat looks upset or annoyed when he sees siblings getting along well. This is probably a result of him comparing their happy relationships to his brothers' hatred towards him.

to:

* Mr. Cat has faint scars on his face. The scars match the pattern made when a cat scratches someone. Could this be implying that someone in his family has scratched his face hard enough to leave permanent damage?

* Mr. Cat's stories about his brothers and dad seem to be consistent, but his description of his mother varies between episodes. In "Let's Play Baby-Sitting", he mentions that he was adopted by a salmon who raised him as her own son. Depending on the episode, he may be talking about his biological mom or his adoptive one.

Depending on the episode, he may be talking Mr. Cat is prone to lying about his biological mom or family to prevent his adoptive one.friends from finding out about his past.

* People on the show make fun of Mr. Cat for being "old", even though he's a kid. However, he is a preteen, and in a world where everyone is less than 13, a preteen must seem ancient.

* Some of the things the characters go through, like Mr. Cat's alcohol problem and sadomasochistic tendencies and Pretty's possible eating disorder, are more unsettling when you realize that all of them are just kids who are less than 13 years old.
* While we don't know the exact ages of the characters, Kaeloo and Mr. Cat are both 11 or 12, and Mr. Cat has tried to have sex with Kaeloo at least three times. A preteen has tried to have sex with another preteen.
* Mr. Cat remembers that his father was an alcoholic, that his mother yelled a lot, that his brothers used to beat him and that he was almost drowned when he was youngerIn the French dub, it's stated that he was a newborn kitten at the time... and he is less than 13. No wonder he has issues.

She was revealed to be alive in a new episode

* In Episode 3, Mr. Cat says that the cat flap used to belong to his mother, and under the effects of TruthSerum in Episode 22, he says that he misses his mom and starts crying. Add that to Episode 53's revelation that at least one person he was close to died at some point. His mother might be dead.

* Stumpy's idolization of Mr. Cat makes more sense when you consider that he lives with his single mother and seven little sisters and no father. Mr. Cat is the closest thing that Stumpy can find to an older male model to look up to.

* A massive fridge TearJerker: Mr. Cat mentions that his brothers were abusive and his father was alcoholic, but his mother was very kind to him apart from all the screaming. Mr. Cat had to run away from home due to all the abuse, and likely couldn't tell anyone at home that he was going to in case they stopped him. In "Let's Play Spies", under the effects of the TruthSerum, he breaks down crying and it's clear he misses his mother. And it's not likely he'll ever see her again.

* One of Mr. Cat's nicknames for Kaeloo is "tadpole". A tadpole is a baby frog. This is a roundabout way of calling her "baby"Both the English and French dubs have shown Mr. Cat using actual terms of endearment with Kaeloo, with "baby" being one of the ones which was used in the English dub.

* The other characters make jokes about Stumpy being short and the show depicts him as a BigEater, which seems funny until you remember that Stumpy has talked about his impoverished parents being unable to provide him with enough food to eat.

* Stumpy has coulrophobia and Mr. Cat freaks out upon hearing the word "child-eating clown". Both of them are horror movie fanatics and have probably watched a lot of movies about Monster Clowns.
