** Sure but that was for like two issues, just EarlyInstalmentWeirdness. If you read further Drake stories he quickly becomes unkillable as long as his head is intact.

FridgeHorror:
* The ComicBook/DoomPatrol are indicated to be taken down by the Joker when we see him carrying Robotman's head. While this may not seem like a big deal in the context of modern comics where Cliff Steele could just get a new body after being decapitated, it should be addressed that this comic is explicitly influenced by the Silver Age and that the ''Doom Patrol'' comics of that era made it clear several times that removing Robotman's head could kill him. More than likely, the Joker ''murdered'' Cliff!

FridgeBrilliance:
* Neither Creator/MarkWaid nor Alex Ross were allowed to use the original Comicbook/{{Supergirl}} when they crafted ''Comicbook/KingdomCome'' due to DC's "Superman MUST be the ONLY Kryptonian alive" mandate. So they used Comicbook/PowerGirl instead (disregarding the Supergirl Matrix, who was another replacement for a classic Silver Age character). In 2005 DC had gone back on that and Kara had been reintroduced to Franchise/TheDCU, so Alex Ross felt free to use Kara Zor-El wearing her iconic "hotpants" costume.

FridgeLogic:
* So Aquaman has a HealingFactor powerful enough to recover from [[spoiler:''being fully dissected by Brainiac'']], yet throughout the entire 1990's he couldn't even grow back one hand?
** It's a different Aquaman.
