** Playing the game again, a certain FridgeBrilliance crops up. Jin's father makes the survivors take her with them, rather than have Sinamoi look after her given he thinks she would have better luck surviving with them. They leave her at the church and she takes the truck and despite being told not to tries to help the criminals at the police station. [[RapeAsDrama You know what happens next.]] Jin loses their trust and the survivors have her tag along as they go into the jungle, however despite this just before the prison she takes off again. With their hands full running errands for the prisoners the survivors leave Jin rather than have to worry about keeping her alive as well, and despite Yerema's concern about her mental health and Jin clearly losing it there's really no other choice, against the worst opposition she would likely get herself and the survivors killed or the prisoners would either get killed or bring her under control should she get out of hand. At this stage Jin is well beyond [[PrecisionFStrike fucked]] and things would have ended badly regardless of what happened.

* What is with Xian Mei telling the POV Character to get out when he stumbles into the womans restroom in the Who Do You Voodoo intro instead of asking him to get help or something? Yes, a man being in the womans restroom is highly inappropriate and on any normal day she would be right to give him shit for it. But in that moment there are more important higher-priority things going on. Like, I dunno, 'the lady bleeding out on the floor!?'

Corrected Morwan to Mowen

** RuleOfDrama dictates the characters pick up the IdiotBall. Jin played with it through much of the second act, in the third she's needed to help the main characters find Marwon, then in act four it's their turn to play with the ball. They could have left Jin at the lifeguard station or the church, or the jungle camp, perhaps the lab being overrun was enough to convince them their only hope was at the prison with White. Okay, they then play a game of basketball with the idiot ball by leaving Jin with the prisoners. She'd arguably have been safer with four survivors fighting zombies, and might not have completely lost her mind.

* Zombies in some forms of media engage in cannibalism and spread the disease through eating flesh. How was Kuru created in the real world? According to a Fore story, Kuru was created when some Fore villagers ate a deceased tribe member's brain that was infected with Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease. Then when those villagers died, a new generation of Fore ate the infected brains and developed Kuru themselves, and the cycle repeated until the cannibalistic practices ceased.

** Each of the character's backgrounds also explain why they have enough knowledge of firearms to use them (Logan was a GoodOldBoy, Sam B. was involved in the gang life that inspired his music and Xian would have had at least basic gun training if her father was her mentor), but only Purna as a police detective would have had proper firearms certification. Also for Xian, [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_control_in_China#Specifications China has the some of the strictest gun control laws in the world]], so outside of police training it's unlikely she'd ever have the opportunity to learn privately and even if she did it would probably be illegal to do so.

** Off screen maybe she did try and came across the same problem as [[DieHard McClane]] (shoes were either too big or small.) When playing as her? Wouldn't that Thug about to cave her head in be more of a concern?

* From the title. How does one hang themselves from the ''leaf'' of a Palm Tree? Clearly someone on the team noticed this, as box art replaced the hanging body with a zombie just standing under the tree.
** Actually the box art was changed in some countries due to censorship.

* Early on in the game, you can get a gun by escorting a guy to the lifeguard station. The downside? His gun only has one bullet. At best, it is an inconvenience. At worst, it's a ripoff. However, then you start to think about why his gun only has one bullet and.... [[DrivenToSuicide you don't suppose.....?]]

** Her total lack of firearm-oriented abilities may seem weird since she is a policewoman, but her opening narration states that the all-female squad she initially belonged to wasn't properly trained, since it was just created for the show.

* At one point in Moresby, you have to enter inside the town hall (which harbours survivors) from the sewers, in order to then reach the supermarket. Then you have to go back to the town hall. [[spoiler: Everyone inside is either dead or turned into a zombie. You initially had to breach into the building to enter, which means that their shelter has been weakened by your fault.]]

** His lack of stamina may also reflect a slightly reduced mobility (e.g. caused by pain caused by extended effort) as a consequence of his leg's injury.
