* I always wondered WHY Beavis hung out with Butt-Head despite Butt-Head being incredibly abusive to him. Then I listened to the "The Beavis & Butt-Head Experience" CD. The duo have a conversation in which Butt-Head states that "if everything was cool, you wouldn't be able to tell what sucked and what was cool," then uses an example- slapping Beavis, then saying that the period of time AFTER getting slapped, after the pain has worn off, is cool. Beavis agrees, and asks to be hit again, each time yelping in pain, but then laughing and asked to be hit again. Beavis is a masochist! To a certain extent, he enjoys being humiliated and abused, but is able to stand up for himself when Butt-Head goes too far. And Butt-Head is a sadist. They have a platonic sado-masochistic relationship. THAT'S why they complement each other so well!

* The new episodes have Beavis and Butt-Head watching MTV reality show dreck like ''JerseyShore'', and commenting on it more MST-style than the kind of meandering they used to get up to. Why? Because they haven't left the couch or changed the channel. They've been doing the same thing they were doing since they were on the air in the '90s, we just weren't watching.

* I always thought of Beavis as being the more hopelessly idiotic of the two, and Butthead's mental inferior in every way (which is saying something). After the show was canceled, though, it occurred to me that Beavis had always been more 'people smart'. ** This is sort of touched upon in the [[ItsAWonderfulPlot Christmas Special]], Beavis hangs out with Stewart in Butthead's absence, and is seen at a soup kitchen helping out. Butthead calls him a bunghole, which Beavis finds amusing and repeats; Beavis isn't a jerk like Butthead, he's just a really impressionable idiot.
** I think two scenes in TheMovie establish that Butthead is slightly more intelligent, but Beavis has a shade more common sense. When they try to read their own names, Butthead is the one who gets it right, although misses the connection to themselves. When they decide to get out of Buddy Grimes' car in the middle of the highway, it's Beavis who makes the observation that "that road is moving pretty fast", while Butthead just calls him a wuss.

But one particular example really makes sense. In the episode where they go to speech therapy, the therapist keeps calling Butthead "Ted." She probably thinks that his speech impediment gives him a VerbalTic that puts a "Buh" sound in front of his real name (Buh-Ted).

* "Young, Gifted, and Crude:" Beavis and Butthead accidentally unplug wires attached to a computer prodigy's brain-enhancing project, literally frying his brain and reducing his intelligence to the duo's. Some of the consequences of this are shown when the prodigy is demoted from the gifted class to general education, where he is greeted by a mob of jealous students; the real horror, however, comes when one realizes that [[MoralEventHorizon the duo ruined his life by stripping him of his gift]].

** Even more disturbing is what the crazy homeless man says to Beavis and Butthead. "Women, they fine when they don't know what's happenin'." The homeless man has raped women before. Then you add in what all his STDs did to Beavis and Butthead and...yeah, never sleeping again.
* At the end of "Holy Cornholio" [[spoiler:Stewart steals Beavis and Butt-Head's chance to score with a bunch of hot women. It becomes less funny when you realise he's essentially raping a group of delusional women who don't know what they're really consenting to.]]

* In the episodes "Candy Selling" and "Manners Suck," Beavis jokingly suggests that Mr Manners/Mr Candy was attempting to molest him, just to be funny, and in the Skrillex music video commentary, he states that "every child molester I've ever met looks just like (this guy.)" And in the music video segment of the episode "Drones," Beavis reveals that he was raped by a school grief counselor. Could Beavis's experience of getting molested have contributed to his rather disturbed personality and quick tendency to make jokes about molestation? It really puts his character in a very sad light.

*** "Probably" nothing, the old man literally tries to have sex with one of his followers one last time before expiring, he just calls it "exchanging holy essence" or something.

** Because the guy was running a risky experiment in a completely unsafe environment. All Beavis did was trip on some wires, an innocent mistake ANYONE could do. Yeah, sucks for that guy, but he apparently wasnt smart enough to take proper precautions before screwing around with his own brain.
