The Maze Runner movie series is an adaptation of the novel series by James Dashner. The first film, starring [[Series/TeenWolf Dylan O'Brien]], [[Series/GameOfThrones Thomas]] [[Series/DoctorWho Brodie]]-[[Film/LoveActually Sangster]], [[Series/{{Skins}} Kaya]] [[Film/{{Moon}} Scodelario]], [[Film/SonOfRambow Will]] [[Film/WereTheMillers Poulter]] and Creator/PatriciaClarkson was released on September 19, 2014. The sequel, titled ''Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials'', was released in the US on September 18, 2015, and an adaptation of ''The Death Cure'' is currently in the works.

* AdaptationalHeroism: While still antagonistic towards Thomas, Gally is significantly less psychotic than his book counterpart. He brings up logical and reasonable accusations towards Thomas and is much more sympathetic.
