Of course subsequently the titular couple's relationship sours and they become all similar to Katarina and Pater.
* HappilyMarried: This trope is intensively lampshaded for Marianne and Johan in the beginning first by the journalists who come to their house to interview them and later by their guests Katarina and Peter. Later things become quite a bit darker.
