A movie by Creator/SeltzerAndFriedberg

!!Tropes:

* BlackComedy:
** Juney chugs vodka, breakdances on her belly, and she and her unborn child get ripped apart by rabid wildlife from ''Alvin and the Chipmunks''.
** There was a big bottle of Ambien and a wine glass, which could be a reference to Heath Ledger's death. Rumors also circulated that they wanted to be more direct based on casting the role of the Joker, but the deleted scene in question was actually just the character making out with some guy in a reference to ''Film/BrokebackMountain''.
* BringIt: Calvin does this gesture to Kung Fu Panda as he prepares to fight him for slapping the Enchanted Princess across the face.
* CoversAlwaysLie: A poster references ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsonsMovie''. The film has absolutely nothing to do with ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons'' in the least, yet there's a poster showing nothing but it. It may be the most misleading movie poster ever created.
* CreatorKiller: Was their only movie to bomb both critically and financially, and since then, their output has been far more sporadic.
* DangerousSixteenthBirthday: Poked fun of, when Will has a sweet sixteen party the same day the world ends, even though he is 25.
* DistressedDamsel: Amy (Vanessa Minnillo), being an expy of Beth from ''Film/{{Cloverfield}}''.
* DisposableWoman: Lisa, though the characters' grief doesn't last for very long.
* DropTheCow: Literally -- [[RuleOfThree three cows]] fall on different superheroes during the tornado scene, and another falling cow caps off the MassiveMultiplayerEnsembleNumber.
* LastMinuteHookup: Near the end of the film, Mystique ends up revealing she now finds Peter extremely attractive and drags him into his tent to have sex with him. Peter had a crush on Mystique near the beginning of the film, but her only scenes up to this point involved her mocking and rejecting him, and the other simply had the X-Men and her now wanting to stand beside Peter. Her finding him attractive enough to have hardcore sex with him, [[FanDisservice as a fat, unibrowed grandma]] [[ChubbyChaser per his requests]] might I add, all night long near the end of the film comes almost completely out of nowhere.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfRoles: [[http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0054697/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t7 Ike Barinholtz]] portrayed seven different characters: [[Series/AmericanGladiators Wolf,]] [[Film/NoCountryForOldMen Anton Chigurh,]] Police Officer, Film/{{Hellboy}}, Franchise/{{Batman}}, Film/{{Beowulf}}, and Literature/PrinceCaspian.
* LoserGetsTheGirl: The main character Peter is portrayed as a loser in his high school "Mutant Academy" because his mutation only gave him chicken-like wings compared to others larger angel wings. Because of this, he doesn't have a chance with the very sexy and attractive shape shifter Mystique, portrayed by Carmen Electra. However, later on in the movie, after it's revealed he's gonna be the king of Gnarnia, she walks up to him, calls him being king "so hot" and says they should get out of there and drags him into a tent. She then makes out with him, before asking him want he wants her to shape shift into. He asks at first for [[BreastExpansion bigger breasts]], a larger ass, and a badonkadonk. However he then takes it back for a "Mamabrow" (Unibrow) and [[ChubbyChaser "Big Flabby Grandma Arms/Bingo Wings like a fat blue Britney Spears"]]...he does drool at the new transformation and they start to get in on before it [[SexyDiscretionShot thankfully fades to black...]] [[NightmareFuel So he got the girl, even if in a very disturbing way.]]
* MagicPants: Parodied, of course, with Film/{{The Incredible Hulk|2008}}. [[DropTheCow Then a cow falls on him.]]
* MassiveMultiplayerEnsembleNumber: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXW7MdrAwug Date Song]]", a blatant rip-off of "I'm F---ing Matt Damon" from ''Series/JimmyKimmelLive'' (the UnratedEdition uses "fuck" instead), which brings together many of the movie's characters, [[NegativeContinuity even ones that have been killed during the movie]], to sing a curtain call song... then it's DropTheCow time!
* MidDevelopmentGenreShift: The film started life as a ''Film/{{Superbad}}'' parody called "Goodie Two Shoes", but for whatever reason changed to a loose parody of ''Film/{{Cloverfield}}'' in the middle of production
* MonsterMisogyny: [[Film/{{Juno}} Juney]] ''getting eaten by chipmunks''.
* NegativeContinuity:
** Has a character get all covered in shit....only for him to be clean in the next scene. And "water breaking" (which in this case means "everybody is covered in foam").
** The two scenes where "Enchanted Princess" is mutilated by broken glass...
* OverlyLongGag: Amy Winehouse's belch.
* RaidersOfTheLostParody: Like most films made by them, contains a parody of ''Film/IndianaJonesAndTheKingdomOfTheCrystalSkull''.
* SayMyName:Features several characters doing nothing more than yelling their names, y'know, so you understand who they are. The best way to parody something is to [[DontExplainTheJoke explain exactly what it is you're parodying!]]
--> "I AM IRONMAN!"
--> "I am [[Literature/TheChroniclesOfNarnia Prince Caspian!]]"
-->" I! AM! [[WesternAnimation/{{Beowulf|2007}} BEOWULF!]]
--> "I AM ''[[WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda KUNG FU PANDA!]]''"
* ShouldersUpNudity: Juney strips she's only seen naked from the shoulders up.
* VulgarHumor: Multiple scenes of women pulling objects out of their crotches.
