* GratuitousRape: Multiple scenes occur in which female characters are sexually assaulted by various men, usually Sean and his cronies, for no reason other than to show how despicable they are (and possibly {{Fanservice}}, as this usually results in the woman's breasts being exposed for a prolonged period of time). They all happen in quick succession too; first we have scene in which Lord Edward decides to kill two children (both suspected witches) who his men captured, but allows Sean, Burke and Bully Boy to rape the girl first before assaulting her himself when she gets free and finally having her killed. This is immediately followed by another rape scene in which Sean sexually abuses his stepmother, and then ''another'' in which he and his friends spend far longer than necessary sexually assaulting a serving girl before accidentally stumbling upon a witch, who they proceed to interrogate in a highly rapey way before being implied to rape and kill her off-screen after she tells them what they want to know. Out of these four scenes, only the last one has any substantial affect on the plot, and it could easily have been done without the rape aspect.
