There was more than enough TearJerker moments, especially when [[spoiler: the main villain manipulated Luffy into fighting an already injured Zoro and Luffy accidentally stepping on the hourglass that's containing Zoro's existence, thus killing his first mate without realizing it.]] The flashback at the end of that chapter didn't help.

The interactions and depth to the characters presented in the fic made me rethink my own interpretations of them, which is a sign of damn fine writing indeed. That it also has some heavy emphasis on Franky at times and especially Brooke, who are sadly often forgotten by fanfiction given how recent they are relatively speaking only makes it all the more awesome.
