At first the story and the characters come off as Sue-ish, but the author puts it pretty well: "...other traits and whatnot that take away from these slightly Sue-ish traits. For instance, she [Itami] DOES have A personality, and isn't quite as strong as she thinks she is." The same goes for some of the character background. Nothing that's been done in a million other fanfics (e.g. Orochimaru gives realizes that the OC has great potential and decides to give them the curse mark) has happened so far.

* Comments: While brief, it's a rather interesting look into the psyche of the infamous Madara Uchiha, who, I think everyone can agree is a psychopath. This story actually sums up how I sympathized with Madara fairly well — in fact, this story places it in words more eloquent than I could come up with — and it could make those of you who hate Madara see him in a different light. Or, you might not change your opinion at all. Give this quick one-shot a read and decide for yourself.
