* ArbitrarySkepticism: The Servants who allied with Salem told her all about Ritsuka and her adventures. Salem, despite being an immortal magic user cursed by the gods and seeing the Servants' abilities, finds the stories hard to believe.

** Archer EMIYA arrives in Solitas.

* MundaneUtility: Dantes and Robyn go to a casino. Dantes uses his Golden Rule ability to win every game he plays.
* RazorWind: Artoria uses her Strike Air technique to summon wind and tear the Grimm apart, including a Goliath.

** Saber Arturia Pendragon arrives in the ruins of Beacon Academy.

* CassandraTruth: After seeing Sasaki's sword skills when he slays a Grimm, Hassan thinks he is a Saber and won't believe him when he says he is an Assassin.

* ''Released to Remnant'': After the Fall of Beacon, the Holy Grail appears. Guided by Angra Mainyu, who wishes to honor his friendship with Caren Hortensia and Bazett Fraga [=McRemitz=], the Grail summons nine Servants to different places in Remnant. They don't need Masters, but have no idea what is going on.

A crossover with Vaati Star and Maha Ziodyne's as of now unreleased fic ''Megadimension Neptunia VIV'', itself a crossover between ''Fate/Grand Order'', ''VideoGame/{{Neptunia}}'', and ''Franchise/{{Touhou}}''. Assassin Koishi Komeiji messes with the Rayshift device in Planeptune's Basilicom and activates it, sending several characters to Remnant.

** Voyager, after beating on five of the six teams in Gudao's first class, is defeated by Jaune's team (Consisting of Jaune, Yang, Carmen & Fallow) despite having otherwise being in perfect condition. Reasons for this include Voyager limiting himself, as Gudao requested by only using one of his vast abilities to act as his Semblence, and only going until his Aura broke, which was accomplished relatively easily by Yang delivering on hell of a punch to his back, powered up by her own Semblence. Also accounting for this victory was Jaune refusing to play by Voyager's game, and not giving him any energy to work with via Swingby.

* WorfHadTheFlu: Due to unknown reasons, the Servants are all limited in some ways. While still stronger than most, they're not at full power. This doesn't help them when what Ozpin describes as an S-Rank Grimm attacks and both the students and even the Servants-due to poor compatibility-aren't able to do much against it.

* ManOfKryptonite: Beast VII has the Skill Nega-Chaldea, allowing her to overcome anything Chaldea could throw at her.

* HunterOfHisOwnKind: Abigail alongside Carter, Merlin, and surprisingly Astolfo help the Foreigner kill Outer Gods they can find in the universe. With Van Gogh saying she couldn't sense the Outer God that used her anymore.

* WalkingArmory: In addition to his regular weapon Gae Bolg, Cu collected many of his fallen comrades' weapons and carries them all at the same time. These include Kanshou and Bakuya, Durandal, three katanas, Sasaki Kojiro's nodachi, King David's staff, one of Sigurd's Gram daggers, a few mystic codes, a vial of Volumen, a few Origin Bullets, Billy the Kid's revolver, Fragarach, and Gray's Add.

* ImADoctorNotAPlaceholder: When Ozpin asks Nightingale to clarify what the Restraints of the Round Table are and other information about the past, she says, "I am a nurse, not a warrior, not some strategist, or philosopher or even someone who can be trusted with delicate information."

* BornUnlucky: A downplayed trope, but when Gudao decides to use the last nine quartz for a summoning, he ends up with two Craft Essenes with Voyager as the last. He then laments how he was very lucky with Voyager, with Nightingale agreeing as usually he gets Craft Essenes and other uselesss stuff.

* HunterOfHisOwnKind: Abigail alongside Carter, Merlin, and surprisingly Astolfo help the Foreigner kill Outer Gods they can find in the universe. With Van Goth saying she couldn't sense the Outer God that used her anymore.

** Nemo, Van Goth, and Benienma face the Brawen Trib. And while they easily deal with the regular men at first, when [[spoiler: Caenis]] shows up, they run instantly without looking back.

** The Throne of Heroes was damaged and many Heroic Spirits were removed. The only ones left are Gilgamesh, Enkidu, Ereshkigal, Voyager, Okita Alter, Caenis, Yu Miaoyi, Xiang Yu, Jason, Mandricardo, Moriarty, Captain Nemo, Mash Kyrielight, and Goredolf Musik. Abigail Williams, Hokusai, Yang Guifei, and Van Gogh are not in the Throne, but survived Beast VII's attack in the Imaginary Sea or the Reverse Side of the World.

* WreckedWeapon: The Servants used a lot of Broken Phantasms on Beast VII and her forces. Mash tried to shoot her with the [[ImmortalBreaker Black Barrel]], but she killed her and destroyed it before she could fire.

* KnowWhenToFoldEm: A few of the Beacon initiates survived because they realized they were outmatched and retreated.

* PowerCrystal: The crate has several pieces of Saint Quartz. Ironwood gives a few to Pietro Polendina for analysis as they seem to be more powerful than Dust. Jacques Schnee purchases one and surprisingly knows how they work, having acquired a book with the summoning spell and two other crystals. He forces Weiss to use the Saint Quartz to summon a Servant; she gets Mandricardo.

* PowerStrainBlackout: To defeat the Geist Golem, Weiss manages to use all of her power to turn Mandricardo solid for a few minutes so he can kill it. She passes out from the strain.

** An even ''bigger'' one when Ozpin, Gudao, and everybody in initiation see the Golem was not only a Geist, but also became so large from debrie that it was a threat to even the weakened Servants.

** Blake internally thinks this when she compares her barley used magic to Weiss's own power (Servant).

* TheWorfEffect: Due to unkown reasons, the Servants are all limited in some ways. While still stronger than most, they're not at full power. This doesn't help them when what Ozpin describes as an S-Rank attacks and both the students and even the Servants-due to poor compatibility-aren't able to do much against it.

* OhCrap: Mandricardo is horrified when he realizes he is intangible and cannot harm Jacques. He has no choice but to answer Jacques' questions to stop him from hurting Weiss.
* OvershadowedByAwesome: Ozpin internally thinks that anything Remnant has, Chaldea had better. From unique technology to even greater warriors. While admittedly skeptical at first though considering these are legends he only heard, Ozpin and his allies Glynda and James instantly believe when Nightingale uses her Noble Phantasm.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Supposedly Gudao Fujimaru is no longer 'human' as stated by Nightingale. When Robin Hood wakes up, he clarifies that Gudao has become like a faerie and a living Heroic Spirit similar to Arturia Pendragon.

* BigDamnHeroes: Captain Nemo & Benienma's timely arrival to save Van Gogh from the Imaginary Numbers Sea.

** [[BladeOnAStick Durandal/Durindana]] is being carried as well, and Mandricardo has been summoned, who is capable of using the sword to its fullest if he is deemed worthy.

* SpiritAdvisor: Given he can't really do much as he is intangible and only Weiss can hear him, even if others can see him when he isn't in spirit form, Mandricardo has become this to her. Thanks to his influence, Weiss is better at holding her temper and introduces herself to Ruby and Jaune instead of walking away. When Weiss starts ranking possible partners on their usefulness, he reminds her that she is acting like her father and that she should be better than him.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: When Cu arrives in Menagerie, the Faunus inhabitants treat him with fear and suspicion because he's covered in injuries, carries a lot of weapons, and is a human. In contrast, their leader Ghira Belladonna offers Cu hospitality, treatment for his injuries, and to hear out his story.

* SpiritAdvisor: Given he can't really do much as he is intangible and only Weiss can hear him, even if others can see him when he isn't in spirit form, Mandricardo has become this to her. Thanks to his influence, Weiss is better at holding her temper and introduces herself to Ruby and Jaune instead of walking away.

* AntiVillain: Jacquess is a bad man, even he admits to it. Fully aware he's done crappy things and turned Nicholes's company to a bad legacy. However, he strives to be a hero of sorts, or at the least be somebody that could leave a ''good'' legacy behind while wishing to be like his fairy tale heroes such as the Neo Argonauts and Romani. Wanting to re-create Chaldea with decent enoguh intentions with Weiss as the 49th Master of Chaldea.

* QualityVsQuantity: Ozpin likes training up quality Huntsmen. Gudao beats his opponents with Quantity Servants. Both have their advantage.
