At its core, this is a FixFic of Fix Fics. The author, disliking the mostly Renegade-leaning Mass Effect AU stories, decided to rectify this problem by taking matters into his own hands and showing the other side of the coin: if Humanity, instead of going full Renegade and curb-stomping the Turians, as they seem to be inclined to do in many AU stories, go a much different route and become an open-minded democracy that integrates peacefully with both synthetics and the Council. It sadly needs some more updates.
