***The Storm sTyle itself due to the LogicalWeakness of the two arts. Lightning has only a limited ranged arsenal. Electricity naturally wants to travel towards the Earth, so blasts have only a range of ten, perhaps twenty feet. Additionally, Lightning Style is not as effective defensively as it is on the offense. Wind Style on the other hand lacks some utility in close combat. Many of the upper level techniques are designed for a maximum range, and are not usable in close. Each, in a way, is the natural bane of the other.
**Quake can be maintained for a full day, but takes a full hour of constant concentration to unite.
**Infernos is interesting in that it actually merges in the physical bodies, keeping them safe, but at the cost of having a 3 day cool down even for the briefest of usages.

Many of the upper level techniques are designed for a maximum range, and are not usable in close. Each, in a way, is the natural bane of the other.

**Infernos is interesting in that it actually merges in the physical bodies, keeping them safe, but at the cost of having a 3 day cool down even for the briefest of usages.

*AntiClimax: Since he couldn’t sense her wear about Tae-il and the others had to look for Soon Li the hard way only to spot her the moment they left the Nekohanten.
*AntiMagic: After the planetary spirit within Soon Li awoken she letting off so much power that it played havoc with the local magic fields. This included preventing Ranma from activating his curse or transforming back to his true form.
**Actually it turned out to be Tae-il’s doing
**Soon Li can disrupt the link between the spirit and the avatar, but the bubble of disruption must be placed on a person so that they can grab hold onto Tae-il. The field is permanent, and since it is set to disrupt Tae-il, who is a creature of magic, it will also render the individual exposed to the field invulnerable to magic of all forms.
*AtLeastIAdmitIt: Nabiki when Ranma called her and the fathers’ cowards for not stopping Akane form cooking.
**AudienceSurrogate: Ranma-kun acts as this by rushing in to rescue Shampoo it allows the confusing situation that he just jumped head first into to be explained to him.
**You can see this in contrast with Ranma-chan while still not fully aware of what is going on it is her universe, she’s been of the thick of thinks so she does have at least some knowledge of what is going on.
