"Metallic," serves as the main protagonist of the story, taking what would be Sonic's place in this timeline's version of the ''Anime/SonicX'' series.

* AccidentalMisnaming: Bokkun has a fit when Uncle Chuck calls him "Messenger Robo." Dialogue implies this happens on a regular basis, and it turns into a running gag as the story goes on. Also falls under DoNotCallMePaul.

* EverybodyKnewAlready: Partially subverted. Ella and Mr. Tanaka are shown to already know that they have Mobians in the house. Mr. Tanaka jokes that they should just purposefully barge in on Chris and Grandpa Thorndyke and tell them they know. In chapter 10, they actually follow through on that.

* GoodIsNotNice: Metallic may be TheAtoner and somewhat soft around Chris, but he's far from nice when it comes to the people who anger him. His other allies are no exception. In chapter 11, when Tails tries to apologize for what he said to Metallic in the previous chapter, he slaps his hand away. At the end of that same chapter, Metallic throws Sonic's roboticization in Tails' face, and tells him that he doesn't need him.
