A notable example was a ''Saturday Night's Main Event'' aired in March 1987, where eight wrestlers -- all of the faces and heels that were still in the ring, including Andre's new Heenan Family stablemate Hercules -- teamed to eliminate Andre, to help sell the "Eighth Wonder Of the World" as a dire threat to HulkHogan (a point Andre and Wrestling/BobbyHeenan drove home in a post-match interview: "It took eight men to eliminate one Giant, but it took one Giant to eliminate you, Hulk Hogan!").

Since Undertaker and Wrestling/TripleH were members of the same stable, the story of the match was whether Austin and Rock (who only weeks earlier were in a bitter feud) could put up with each other long enough to survive.
