Added DiffLines:

At a first glance, Morimune High School looks like any other school in Japan, or even the world at large!

But taking a glance inside the classes reveal that the vast majority of the students possess unique, superhuman traits which defy explanation.

And as with the oddly political climate of usual schools, in Morimune, this leads to high stakes "chess games" between various factions of students, and even some teachers may well find themselves involved before long.

It is in this chaotic ecosystem of the most powerful kids in the world that we find a large number of people simply trying to keep moving through to a peaceful life.

Navigating this political land scape can be hazardous, and some times, even life threatening! Should students misuse their powers, they would find themselves in The Dark Path of the Academy, a ruthless criminal world with the likes of the [[{{Yakuza}} Suiseiken]] and [[{{Secret Police}} Judg]][[{{Absurdly Powerful Student Council}} ment]] calling most of the shots.

And so, into this world of chaos we go...

[[folder:Characters]]
!Students

[[WMG: Mohan [=McKenzie=] ]]

A first-year student at Morimune who has Seleighe and Djinn ancestors.
----
Tropes associated with Mohan:

* GlassCannon: He's at least at maximum human strength, but he's very fragile.
* HalfHumanHybrid
* PrideBeforeAFall: His pride ultimately led to his body getting turned hideous.

[[WMG: Shimizu Arashi]]

A second-year student who occasionally jokes around, but is fairly calm in general.
----
Tropes associated with Arashi:

* AnIcePerson
* TheDulcineaEffect
* MakingASplash

[[WMG: Kaemon Nanashi]]

A second-year student, a bit naive and hot-blooded.
----
Tropes associated with Kaemon:

* LaserGuidedAmnesia
* PowerArmor: He can summon this.

[[WMG: Aiko Kimura]]

A second-year student who's half human, half satyr.
----
Tropes associated with Aiko:

* HalfHumanHybrid
* MagicMusic
* RapunzelHair

[[WMG: Rhyme Solei]]

A junior, quiet and serious with a strong sense of justic.
----
Tropes associated with Rhyme:

* MindOverMatter
* {{Telepathy}}

[[WMG:John Thornton]]

A freshman, with psychic powers, and an extreme case of split personality.

----

* [[spoiler: BrainwashedAndCrazy]]
* ButtMonkey: He's even hated by his ''narrator''.
** Deconstructed. This trait was, largely, what made Ignius select John.
* CripplingOverspecialization
* [[spoiler: TheDragon: The most active of the bunch, in terms of relation to Ignius.]]
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Correction, ''only'' the guys want him.
* {{Flanderization}}: Played with. Whatever he feels affects his personality, thanks to his unstable mind, and that feeling gets amplified. This means there is a huge difference between when he is angry, when he is sleepy, etc.
* FunnySchizophrenia
** [[spoiler: Averted, after some meddling by [[RealityWarper Ignius]]]]
* MindOverMatter
* MoreThanMindControl
** PlayingWithFire: His prefered method of attacking.
* NonActionGuy: He is completely fine with staying in the sidelines.
** [[spoiler: [[TookALevelInBadass Not]] [[CorruptTheCutie anymore...]]]]
* OvershadowedByAwesome: So far, he has been outclassed in every ground, by other individuals with mental abilities.

[[WMG:Suzuki Haruo]]

A third-year student who loves jokes and pranks. He is generally easy-going, and pretty trusting.
----
Tropes associated with Suzuki:

* BlowYouAway
* GreenThumb: One of his powers is the ability to create clouds of mixed thorns and petals.
* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: If he used his powers right and had the skill to do so, his powers could deal extreme damage. As it is, they're pretty weak.

!The Esper Organization

[[WMG: Matthew Streika]]

A young man from America, this teenager has been working with the Organization for nearly a year now, and has a certain reputation with the nastier side of the supernatural. His ability is to create swords. He has come to Morimune hoping to make sure Ein Woe is not successful in what he has set out to do.

* BewareTheNiceOnes
** BerserkButton: Do not try to assassinate his new friends. Just don't. It will not end well for you, as a certain vampire assassin found out the hard way.
* {{Bishonen}}
* FightMagnet: He has a Holy Artifact in him, so its really a given.
* HeroesPreferSwords: It is all Matthew can use, really.
** FlechetteStorm
%%** ImplausibleFencingPowers
** MasterSwordsman: Skilled in many, many, many styles and switches between them easily.
** SwordBeam
** WaveMotionSword: The Aura Rave spell
* IdiotHero: Though perhaps not as dull as he acts sometimes...
* NiceGuy: Almost incredible, really, that he can go through so much and come out of it so nice and well adjusted. Matthew is, identity issues and dark side aside, a very kind, industrious and understanding individual who doesn't care who or what it is that is in danger, he will help out.
* PerpetualSmiler: [[StepfordSmiler A hint that not everything about Matthew is peachy.]]

!Antagonists:

!Ein Woe

* ArchEnemy: to Matthew and Johnson and Nathan.
* AristocratsAreEvil: Grand Duke Class Demon.
* AsskickingEqualsAuthority ''and'' AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Demons are classed and respect one another based on their rank.
* BigBad: Maybe, maybe not.
* CardCarryingVillain: Ein deeply enjoys all the evil he does.
* TheChessmaster: Skillfully orchestrates events in this fashion.
* TheCorrupter: Ein has a record with this trope.
* DarkIsEvil: Although he is mostly pale white, he wears a cult-like black outfit.
* DrivenToMadness: All it took was one bad day (the betrayal of Gabe, the almost-suicide of his perspective girlfriend, and then finding out why he was always a cast-out and that demons are "naturally evil".)
* {{Expy}}: One could make the case for Ein being, basically, a superpowered Joker.
* FacialHorror: Half his face is covered by a bone-like exoskeleton, his right eye is just a red slit.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: His canon backstory: abused bastard child, seeing hope for the first time in a certain school, and then having it brutally, utterly shot down right in front of him.
* MonsterClown: Has common characteristics attributed to them.
* MultipleChoicePast: Like the Joker, Ein has a couple backstories.
* SlasherSmile: Always described as smiling. Always.

!Ignius / Strife

A bizarre priestly boy from another world, Ignius seems to resemble Matthew to some degree, and has been orchestrating some events to seemingly avoid a catastrophe. However, his methods for accomplishing this are very dark indeed, and most of his traits and even his backstory remain hidden from sight. He appears to possess terrifyingly powerful reality warping abilities, enough to be a DimensionLord.

* AmbiguouslyEvil: While his stated intentions are good, he seems to employ a lot of really morally dark gray / black methods to get to this, including mind raping an innocent girl just to put her brother into another body (long story), brainwashing and artificially aging the PluckyComicRelief, and then he gave Black Blades to Tsuhiro.
* TheCorrupter: He has corrupted John and Tsuhiro into being his CoDragons.
* LightIsNotGood: Priestly appearance, white robe that screams "Pope", and white hair? Check. Morally dubious ways of trying to save the world? Incredibly secretive? Check.
* ManipulativeBastard: He knew exactly what to say to get Tsuhiro on his side, and he made sure to give John "peace of mind".
* MindRape: He uses this a lot.
* RealityWarper: Owns his own dimension, can control nearly everything in this dimension, including time and space, and is capable of "matter transmutation".
* TheStoic: Not much can phase Ignius
* WellIntentionedExtremist

!Samael

A mysterious masked man who appeared during the fight with Ein Woe and Jae'yon, and displayed very high levels of talent with his MagicalEye power, the Shinjinme. Next to nothing is known about him, other than that he is possibly even more powerful than Ein Woe, and has very personal stakes in this war. A HeroKiller of high caliber, in New Dawn proper he has a high kill count attached to his name.

* BerserkButton: In story, do not withhold information or fool around on a mission. Don't. [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe He hates that.]] Also, no female hostages. That will get you ripped apart. And heaven help you if you should try to ''rape your target''. That's a quick way to be stuck in a FateWorseThanDeath.
* CombatPragmatist: This is a man who never, ever, fights fair. If he can easily win by exploiting his broken MagicalEye, he will do so. He won't attack you from the front. He'll teleport in and stab you from behind.
* EnigmaticMinion: Do we even know what he wants?
* GenericDoomsdayVillain: Somewhat. He does not seem to have a motive for running around shanking people.
* HealingFactor
* HeroKiller: Of both heroes and villains in New Dawn. His complete count? [[spoiler: [[HeKnowsTooMuch Shouji Muzoku]], [[WeHardlyKnewYe Jack, Mary, Steven, Devin]], [[CurbStompBattle David Reaver, Carmon Calan and Jill Levenheim]], [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown Antoine Reyva]], and then the Phantom Claw Trainees.]]
* KickTheDog: He really did not ''need'' to make the suppression that painful. He just decided to do so anyway.
* MagicalEye: Maybe an Expy of the Sharingan, but even more ridiculous. It lets him cast very powerful spells without even making necessary preparations, drops the Mana requirements for such spells to almost nil, and gives him some really powerful abilities.
* MalevolentMaskedMan
* NoNonsenseNemesis: This guy does not fuck around. He barely even talks to people he's trying to kill.

----
!!Tropes found in Morimune High School RP

* AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil: Consists of a lot of ''heinously'' powerful individuals, including PhysicalGod Ayumi Nabiki, her [[TheDragon First Lieutenant]] [[BodyHorror Karasu]], her scheming Vice President [[RealityWarper Akira Kuronuma]], the AxCrazy? Captain of Security Kei Muramasa, The "Shadow King" Hayate, and numerous others, including most of the player characters at this point, with some exceptions.
* AxCrazy: Kei might just be insanely violent in his responses to "threats", and Kagetaro is just plain nuts.
** And Shirako. Oh [[{{Yandere}} my]] [[LoveMakesYouCrazy GOD]], ''[[SlasherSmile Shirako]]...''
** [[spoiler: John. Bet you didn't expect that...]]
* BeamSpam: Allan's default setting for his weapon, Aziero.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Zak gets two big ones during his Oracion state.
* BloodKnight: Dex Anthem, as usual for him.
** Most of Anti-Thesis could also count.
* ButtMonkey: John Thornton isn't exactly everyone's favorite...
* TheChessmaster: Akira, Ayumi and most especially Hayate, who is somehow keeping up in scheming with a seemingly omnipotent Ayumi.
** Fero is one too, but is more of a GuileHero only doing this to save his friends.
* ClaspYourHandsIfYouDeceive: Hayate, numerous times.
* CoDragons: Jae'yon alongside several others.
* {{Delinquent}}: Kagetaro has a whole gang of them.
* DemonlordsAndArchdevils: Ein Woe is stated to be a Demon Lord. [[WordOfGod Specifically of the Grand Duke Class.]] This means nothing good for our heroes.
* DepravedBisexual: Hayate not only has girls draped all over him in his gardens, but openly flirts with Fero...[[CasualDangerDialogue while implicitly threatening to kill him.]]
* DissonantSerenity: Has Ayumi ever shown any hint of a change in behavior? [[spoiler: This changed recently, but it might not last.]]
* EliteMooks: What Allan and even Zak are in the long run.
* GambitPileUp: Everyone is planning ''something'', or so it seems. The only parties who are not doing so may well be Rhyme, Yuki and an oblivious Minato.
* GambitRoulette: Ayumi is running one with so many details and chance events it's amazing she could keep all that shit straight in her head.
* EnemyMine: All conflict at the school has come to a grinding halt as Ein Woe's Anti-Thesis group and Dolph's Odessa have shown up.
* HalfTheManHeUsedToBe: Allan's demise.
* HeroKiller: Akira Kuronuma
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Minato / Fenton, as a result of "damage".
* NighInvulnerable:
** Zakarias Agruera, Ein's "Invulnerable Servant." He also hits very, very hard when he chooses to use barehanded attacks, and moves very fast.
** Matthew is even moreso, being a superhuman from the start, but being able to amp his abilities further via Mana.
* MasterSwordsman: Matthew, with one style of fighting per sword he creates.
* MindRape: Ignius does this as a matter of course.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Hayate, the smiley little gardener kid, who turned out to be a horrifyingly depraved bisexual who has enhanced speed and strength, and has definitely shown why he has the title of "The Shadow King."
* OneWingedAngel: All of Anti-Thesis has a habit of doing this. Currently, we have:
** Allan Descardo: From psycho bishonen to basically a walking artillery platform.
** Zak Agruera: From oddly bipolar teen to a skeletal monster with Renji's Bankai coming out of its shoulders. [[spoiler: Though it did not help very much.]]
** Jae'yon turned into a giant squid-spider-fox-dragon-thing with a lot of eyes. And then a giant dragon knight. And then a smaller dragon knight which is now a sniper...
* OutsideContextProblem: Ein Woe and Dolph have come outta nowhere, and have caused a large shake up in terms of the school power structure.
* PoweredArmor: Matthew gets a suit of it with wings attached, as do [[BadassArmy everyone else in the 317th.]]
* ReverseShrapnel / FlechetteStorm: Dolph's magic, which makes clouds of Sakura Petals made of nanites, which can just as easily turn into eviscerating blades.
* ShoutOut: Anti-Thesis is a big one to Manga/{{Bleach}}. Demon Flare = Cero, Demon Pistol = Bala, the Anti-Thesis EliteMooks can even [[spoiler: use something very similar to Resurreccion.]]
* SwordBeam: Dolph's Ultimate Spell, the devastating Aura Rave.
* ThoseWackyNazis: Dolph's whole group is made up of them.
* TheTrickster: Gamma and Zeta are identical twins who just love taking advantage of how closely they resemble one another.
* {{Yandere}} mixed roughtly with {{Tsundere}}: Karasu to Ayumi. Cemented recently when she was insulted by Fero, Karasu went all the way to ''MurderIsTheBestSolution.''
** Ayumi is also the same exact way with Karasu.
* HiddenDepths: Just about every character has these in some way, as does the RP itself initially appearing to be a SliceOfLife Highschool RP that just happens to star {{Differently Powered Individual}}s before morphing into a massive GambitPileup.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Ignius seems to give off this vibe. He apparently wants to save the world, but his plan for doing so involves killing Yuki.
