Kenneth Cope, (14 April 1931), is a British actor best known for his roles in ''Series/RandallAndHopkirkDeceased'', ''Series/CoronationStreet'' and ''Series/{{Brookside}}''.

Early in his career he was a character actor until he landed the role of Jed Stone in ''Series/CoronationStreet'', which helped boost attention to him. Around the same time he was a regular on ''Series/ThatWasTheWeekThatWas''.

At the end of TheSixties he starred in ''Series/RandallAndHopkirkDeceased'' as Marty Hopkirk. He also played major roles in two of the ''Film/CarryOn'' movies: ''Film/CarryOnAtYourConvenience'' as the disagreeable shop steward Vic Spanner and in ''Film/CarryOnMatron'' as unwilling crook Cyril Carter.

In 2008, he returned to ''Series/CoronationStreet'' for the first time in 42 years. This was his final acting job.

Cope now lives in Southport, and writes for a weekly newspaper.
