* DawsonCasting: In ''Film/AbductionOfEden'', Eden is kidnapped at the age of eighteen. Jamie was in her late twenties, but she also plays Eden across a TimeSkip.
* DyeingForYourArt: Underwent three months of gruelling workouts, combat and weapons training to prepare for ''Film/SuckerPunch''.
* EnforcedMethodActing: For ''Already Tomorrow In Hong Kong'', she and her husband stayed in separate hotel rooms during production. As they were playing two people who just met, it helped convey the unfamiliarity between them.
* FakeNationality: Despite being of Korean descent, she has played Chi Chi (who is Japanese) in ''Film/DragonballEvolution'' and Ruby (who is Chinese) in ''Film/AlreadyTomorrowInHongKong''. Mulan in ''Series/OnceUponATime'' is borderline - while the Enchanted forest is a fantasy world, Mulan is shown coming from a kingdom heavily inspired by Chinese culture. '''Jamie Jilynn Chung''' (b. April 10th 1983) is an American actress and blogger.

Her career began on ''Series/TheRealWorld'' of all things. She was a contestant on ''The Real World: Sandiego'', the fourteenth season of the show. However she has since gone onto bigger and better things - and has had one of the most successful media careers out of ''The Real World'''s alumni. Not that it wasn't tough to shake her reputation from it however; she claims she left it off her resume in most of her early auditions. She's also one of the most successful Asian-American actors working in Hollywood today. Though she too still falls victim to the MinorityShowGhetto - as evidenced by the DevelopmentHell for the biopic ''Eden'', which struggled to find investors due to its absence of a WhiteMaleLead. They didn't have to in the end, and Jamie won critical acclaim for her performance.

Early roles included guest spots on ''Series/VeronicaMars'', ''{{Series/ER}}'', ''{{Series/CSINY}}'', ''Series/GreysAnatomy'' and a SmallRoleBigImpact on ''Series/DaysOfOurLives''. She got slightly more exposure with notable roles in ''Film/GrownUps'', ''Film/TheHangoverPartII'', ''Film/SuckerPunch'' and ''Princess Protection Programme''. ''Film/PremiumRush'' is recognised as her breakout role.

She's also got Disney cred for her role as {{Disney/Mulan}} on the TV show ''Series/OnceUponATime'' and as the voice of [=GoGo=] Tomago in ''Disney/BigHero6'' - a role she reprised for the TV adaptation. She's also TheFashionista and you can view her blog 'What The Chung?' [[http://whatthechung.com/ here]]
