Hilary Minster, born Roger Michael Hilary Minster, (21 March 1944 -- 24 November 1999), was a British character actor best known for playing General von Klinkerhoffen in ''Series/AlloAllo''.

He was also well-known for his recurring role in ''Series/SecretArmy'' as Hauptmann Muller, and briefly writing scripts with Creator/KennethWilliams for ''International Cabaret''.
