Some of her earliest roles on screen were as Brenda Drill in ''Film/ShockTreatment'' and Meg of Wickham in ''Series/RobinOfSherwood''. In 1984, she was cast as Zo Dudgeon in the pilot of ''Comrade Dad'', a role she was brought back for in 1986 when the series was fully commissioned.
