* BeatItByCompulsion: All vampires are shown to be obsessed with counting seeds tossed on the ground, which puts them in a euphoric state and is established as their favorite pastime.

* MoralityPet: Kieszonka, arguably the most morally bankrupt of the main recurring characters, is a tough criminal, a lowlife, and is cynical and sarcastic towards everyone... Except for [[{{TheCutie}} Oscar]], the epitome of innocence and politeness in the series. Kieszonka is never rude towards him and appears to genuinely enjoy his company and even shows protectiveness. This might serve as [[{{HiddenDepths}}]], as it not only implies that, despite her rough nature, Kieszonka appreciates Oscar for who he is, but also realizes he would have been unable to fight back if she were ever to verbally attack him, so she is gentle towards him. Despite all her many, many flaws and questionable morality, to say the least, one thing Kieszonka is not is a bully.

* SoBeautifulItsACurse: One story focuses on the "most beautiful princess in the world", so attractive that everyone who saw her became mad with envy on the spot and began to hate the princess. Everyone, including male characters, her ''own reflection in the mirror'' and forces of nature. The princess was rather miserable because of this, especially that she was abandoned by everyone for being so unhumanly pretty they couldn't comprehend it. [[TakeOurWordForIt Her face is never shown]] so the reader doesn't turn against her, too.

** There is a story paying homage to [[{{ComicBook/Thorgal}}]], featuring an almost frame-by-frame parody of the opening scene of the [[Recap/TheBetrayedSorceress series first book]], with Lil portraying the role of Thorgal, Fryc as Gandalf, and Put as... Aaricia.

** In one story a panel of two pesants seeing Put flying by on the hang glider is a homage to a famous Polish paiting "Storks" by Józef Chełmoński (it adds extra irony that Put previewsly stated he wants to fly "like a stork" as that's what the pesants seen in the orginal paiting)

* AmbiguousDisorder: Morbinka never speaks. It may be by choice, it may be a disability of some sort, we don't know, since, as of yet, none of the characters ever made a comment about it. Possibly she's just a moody teen or depressed.

* SummoningRitual: In one story Miksja has problem chasing Lil, Put and their entire family out of her castle before her Uncle returns. Solution? She preforms a dark, necromantic ritual to summon a powerful spirit of two-headed decaputated, white lady and orders her to chase them away. (It dosent work out as she planed)

* DickDastardlyStopsToCheat: Lampooned in one story. While all characters race towards a treasure, Ivan and his gang of dwarfs gets ahead of everyone else. As they cross the bridge Ivan stops and orders his men to destroy the bridge. Rupert question this idea and gives a speach in which he deconstructs the practicality of this trope, point by point, just for long enough to all the rivals to cross the bridge without the dwarfs noticing it... and then they decide to destroy the bridge anyway, never being aware they are far behind. Dose not stop them from having an EvilLaugh.

** Lil, Put and Miksja themselfs appeared on posters in ComicBook/EmilkaSza (which happens to have the same writer).

* TheCameo: Aunt Jaga the witch from ComicBook/KaykoAndKokosh appears as a costumer at Nicola's alchemist shop. Interestingly both creators of "Lil and Put" did also did work on new "Kayko and Kokosh" stories.
* EducationThroughPyrotechnics: One of Miksja's school classes is on Pyromancy where the stundents learn how to control fire. You can guess how often this ends.

* GadgeteerGenius: Tuleja the fairy can build any machine in a split second, including ones advance way ahead of the presumed era in which the series takes place, only with a {{Main/Steampunk}} twist.
