insufficient context. per TRS, ship sinking now must be a scene or plot point which is designed specifically to show the characters will never get together

* AdaptationalSexuality: Depending on how one may interpret Qin Jiuxiao's feelings towards Zhou Zishu, this would apply as they had given Qin Jiuxiao a female love interest.

* AdaptationalSexuality: Depending on how one may interpret Qin Jiuxiao's feelings towards Zhou Zishu, this would apply as they had given Qin Jiuxiao a female love interest.

* SaveTheJerk: Even when Qin Jiuxiao was angry at Zhou Zishu drugging him, he didn't hesitate to jump in and risk his life to save him when he heard that Zhou Zishu was in danger.

to:

* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: Bi Changfeng sees that serving and dying for Tian Chuang is fate worse than death, so he chooses to die by the nails rather than serve Prince Jin.
* HypocriticalHeartwarming: Even when Bi Changfeng chastises Zhou Zishu for being the last of their sect, he displays concern over Zhou Zishu's unhealed injures.
* LastOfHisKind: Besides Zhou Zishu as a member, Bi Changfeng was the last elder of the Four Seasons Manor.
* MadeOfIron: The process of inserting the nails should make any normal person scream, Bi Changfeng merely groans in pain.

to:

* OutlivingOnesOffspring: The son of Tao Hong and Lu Liu has died in the battle of Mount Qingya against Rong Xuan, for twenty years they have been seeking nothing but revenge on the Five Lakes Alliance.

Warning: The following page contains unmarked spoilers.

to:

* AncestralWeapon: Qin Huaizhang was the original owner of the Baiyi sword. Now it has been passed on to Zhou Zishu.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Qin Huaizhang seems like a kind person, but that doesn't mean he can't take down six people at once. This also shows from Zhou Zishu, whose an exceptional fighter even with only third of his power.
* HenpeckedHusband: Apparently whenever the powerful sect leader Qin Huaizhang wanted to play, he would take Zhou Zishu as an excuse and play with him. This was often interrupted by Zhou Zishu going to his wife, making her scold at him.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Downplayed. When Wen Ruyu thanks him for saving his family, Qin Huaizhang shuts him down by calling him silly.
* MasterOfDisguise: The Four Seasons Manor is well known for it's disguise abilities, it's no wonder that Qin Huaizhang possess this skill.
* NiceGuy: From what is seen from Qin Huaizhang, he was a playful and a nice man with a great smile.
* PromotionToParent: Zhou Zishu mentions that Qin Huaizhang has treated him like his own son alongside Qin Jiuxiao.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: When the Wen family was hunted down in the name of associating with a demon, Qin Huizhang was the one to severe all ties with the Five Lakes Alliance who did nothing, and proceeded to take action and save them.
** Zhou Zishu also says that if Qin Huaizhang were to be alive and know of what Wen Kexing has become, he would not fight him and instead, stand by his side.

* AnArmAndALeg: Because Long Xiao held the firm belief that his father isn't helping him on purpose, he had cut his legs and left him caged for who knows how long.
* Escapism: In order to cope with his situation, Long Que has been living in his own memories, where he remembers Zhou Zishu as a child vividly.
* GoOutWithASmile: When Zhou Zishu reassures him that the Wen family has escaped and lived happily (whether Long Que recognises that Zhen Yan is Wen Kexing, the man standing next to Zhou Zishu or not) Long Que gives one final smile before he dies.
* HeroicSacrifice: Long Que has spread the rumours of a key that can open the armoury without the Glazed Armour, this has redirected the hunt from the Wen family, to him personally so they could live happily. Sadly, it didn't work.
* IDieFree: With his legs cut off and chains stabbed into his shoulders, Long Que begs Zhou Zishu to cut off the chains so he can die a free man instead of a humiliated one.
* ThatThingIsNotMyChild: Long Que says this, considering that Long Xiao has tortured him and amputated him just because he thinks that Long Que doesn't want to see him well.
* TheMourningAfter: The reason people didn't question the disappearance of Long Que is because he had isolated himself after his wife died, not wanting to see anyone or anything that may remind him of her.
* TrapMaster: Quite literally. The Long Yuan Pavilion is known for it's traps and mechanics.
* WildHair: His hair is unkempt and beard overgrown from being imprisoned for so long.

to:

* BeardOfEvil: Almost the same exact styling.
* BelievingTheirOwnLies: So far up in his own self-righteousness, he claims that in order to clean his honour, he had to kill his own son and a respectful elder of his sect because they associated with the bad side.
* HolierThanThou: Mo Huaiyang acts like he's abiding by the honour of his sect and teachings, when in reality, he allies up with a well known assassin organisation.
* TheAce: Being in seclusion for 20 years, Mo Huaiyang is known to be a very powerful Master.
* WeddingSmashers: Mo Huaiyang choses the event of Cao Weining's and Gu Xiang's wedding to take the Glazed Armour, of course he kills both of the couple while his disciples kill the unsuspecting Ghosts.

to:

* BackupFromOtherworld: The poison that Gu Miaomiao gave Zhao Jing has messed up his martial art skills. During the second Heroes Conference duel, Wen Kexing had a noticeable advantage over Zhao Jing because of this.
*DeadlyDoctor: As much as she was knowledgable in medicine, she also knew poison, and was able to save herself and family from Zhao Jing (directly) by poisoning him.
* HeadbuttOfLove: When Wen Kexing trauma flares up, Gu Miamomiao presses her forehead to his, calming him down.
* KnewItAllAlong: She yells this at Zhao Jing when she realises that he was the one to poison Rong Xuan, claiming that she knew Gao Chong would never do this.
* LikeMotherLikeDaughter: Like Mother, Like Son. One can draw many parallels between Gu Miaomiao when Zhao Jing visited, and Wen Kexing whenever he was angry or posing as the Ghost Valley Chief.
* MamaBear: Gu Miaomiao was the protector of both her husband and her child when they got exiled. The fact that she was both a woman and a healer yet can wield a sword and defend was enough proof that she would defend her family at all costs.
