* MoralityPet: Seems to actually very much like Neodymium and Bela, who are basically the only people in the world she truly cares about. She even fakes Neo's death and places them on the Stormchaser when it appears she's going to be liquidation.

* CaptainErsatz: Of Juri Han from the ''VideoGame/{{StreetFighter}}'' series.

* CloneDegeneration: Due to the nature of how Schoolkids are made, it's not unusual for them to have medical issues as they enter puberty and adulthood, such as hormonal imbalances and early-onset cancer. This is referred to as "the Curse" by surviving Schoolkids, and Tagg has been working on figuring out a cure for those affected by it.

* SuicidalOverconfidence: Templars almost never give up when faced with a strong opponent, even when it's obvious they can't win. It's implied that their recklessness is due to the fact that most Templars almost never face peer opponents combined with their SocialDarwinist beliefs, giving them trouble if they actually face a real threat that it would be wiser to retreat from.

* SquishyWizard: She has great power but she's only about as tough as an averagely athletic person of her size.

The 77th Schoolchild of the Freshman Class, derived from both a damaged Chiyo template and a blood sample coincidentally taken from Tagg during Ranger-2.

* AntiVillain: While technically an antagonist since she's loyal to the School, she's not truly evil.

* TheAtoner: Assists Chiyo with fighting the School out of a desire to make up for the people she's killed.
* ChildSoldiers: Downplayed in that she's been aged into her teens, but Louise is a former active School agent who isn't an adult yet by any metric.
* ColdSniper: Apart from some gloating she doesn't emote much when on the hunt.
* CombatPragmatist: Simply attempts to shoot Chiyo in the head with an arrow without bothering to introduce herself, a technique that would've worked had Chiyo not barely erected a barrier in time to block.
* HeelFaceTurn: Chiyo's beating and words with her causes her to realize that she doesn't want to work for the School anymore, but has to wait for the right time to escape or help.
* InnateNightVision: Her Aura Sense variant allows her to see in the dark.
* HugeSchoolgirl: Louise is in her mid-teens biologically but is also roughly 5'9" at minimum.
* LikeASonToMe: Louise thinks of Chiyo as a mother figure, and Chiyo reciprocates by treating her as a daughter.
* TheMole: Serves as a mole for the J-Team inside the School, keeping them abreast of School operations, up until she's found out by Adelinde and Chiyo needs to rescue her.
* NotSoStoic: Breaks her professional demeanor after being humiliated by Chiyo in combat and when she thinks she's about to kill her.
* ProfessionalKiller: Her job is to assassinate escapees for the School.
* TheStraightAndArrowPath: While she does use an actual sniper rifle and uses a handgun as a desperation move, her primary ranged weapon is a bow.
* WolfpackBoss: Along with her Chiyo and Dactyl have to deal with the literal pack of canine mons sent after them.
* TookALevelInKindness: Brad mentions to Adelinde that she's been treating Schoolkids better following her battle with Chiyo.

* ThoseTwoGuys: Him and Watson, the human templar, form this dynamic.

* BornAsAnAdult: Downplayed as they're not born as adults, but Schoolchildren are "born" between the apparent ages of 6-14, so they're [[YoungerThanTheyLook often much younger chronologically than their apparent ages would suggest.]] This has the side effect of often giving them issues such as early-onset cancer and other maladies if they manage to reach late puberty-early adulthood, an issue not shared by Templars.

* SuperSupremacist: Templars tend to have a mental hierarchy of themselves at the top, Schoolchildren/Alumni below them, followed by non-School Aurics, and nonpowered humans at the bottom, only good for enthralling or sex. School personnel are mostly exempt even if they don't have powers.

* TheDreaded: Most people who are aware of Adelinde fear her, including other School agents. Molybdenum, herself pretty fearsome, spends her time scared out of her mind at the thought of displeasing Adelinde in any way.

* SmarterThanYouLook: He might seem like a hapless toady, but when Pavo threatens to tell their superiors about his sexual encounter with Chiyo, he threatens them with telling them that they're part-Obscuric, which would end in their death due to what happened with the Phantom Class. Pavo and Maurice agree to keep each other's secrets as a result.

* MixAndMatchMan: School creations aren't born in the conventional sense, they're derived from numerous genetic sources from [[TwoDonorClone two or more people]] that are made into a template, and then formed from a machine that creates them from raw materials. Chiyo, an escaped Schoolchild, mentions that in a way their creation method gives them more in common with homunculi than conventional clones.

He averts EasyEvangelism this way as he's still working for the company and spells out to Jake [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome the limits of what he can change from the inside]].

A palafin who basically took over Igor's job as Dr. Cassander's ace.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: As Odin ends up pulling a HeelFaceTurn, Moreau takes his place as the childish yet evil scentist.

* UnseenNoLonger: After being hinted at by Chiyo, he finally appears in the aftermath of an attempted Templar raid on the Stormchaser for the Schoolkid Curse cure.

* DiedInYourArmsTonight: [[CradlingYourKill Dies in Chiyo's arms]] after the former mortally wounds her by slicing her deeply with her disc constructs.

* ImColdSoCold: As she's cradled in Chiyo's arms while dying, she mentions feeling cold as she bleeds out.
* MortalityPhobia: Noted to have a fear of death that made her unwilling to join Chiyo's original breakout and is why she ends up fighting Chiyo in a duel to the death despite not wanting to, and admits to her fear of dying as she lays mortally wounded.
* PosthumousCharacter: Died at Chiyo's hands back in 2006, 15 years prior to the Galar Arc, and appears only in a flashback.
* SadisticChoice: According to her the School has tasked her with either Chiyo's death or recapture, or she herself gets liquidated.

* PatchworkKids: Iridium has both Chiyo's freckles and Tagg's mole on the left side of his face, along with sharing both their facial features. She's also implied to have Tagg's hair texture, as her hair is coarser than Chiyo's, and her eyes are Tagg's but purple with a brownish tint.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: She looks a lot like both Chiyo and Tagg, to the point that Chiyo is able to recognize that she's in part formed from Tagg based on physical appearance.

** Igor can shapeshift into almost anything, while Fernando only the alternate super form endemic to his species.

* PlayingWithFire: He's a Psychic with pyrokinesis.

* InstantSedation: His epithet derives from his ability to knock people and Pokeémon from a considerable distance with a snap of his fingers. So far, he's only been observed using it for NonLethalKOs.

* Foil: To his predecessor. Like Igor, he's more powerful when transformed, but that's where the resemblance ends. This is actually a contributing factor as to why Cassander now also brought in Watson.

** Fernando is more content with lurking in the shadows.

* BeleagueredAssistant: Dr. Circhester's answer to Maurice.

* YourDaysAreNumbered: She has sclerosis that is only being held back by constant serum taking.

The head scientist behind the New Century Class.

* VisionaryVillain: Chiyo tells Maurice that she feels that his plans are a lot bigger than the School, but what form those plans will take remains unknown.

* AncientConspiracy: While the School itself in its modern form utilizing the Class system has only existed since 1790, or more than 220 years, its predecessors have existed for more than 1,500 years.

* BerserkButton: As a general rule, Templars hate when someone either doesn't refer to them by their title or makes a joke out of it, to the point that they'll try to kill the offender outright.

* CreateYourOwnHero: The School has a habit of making enemies by playing hardball. For instance, Chiyo was perfectly willing to simply just avoid the School for however long her life would be instead of fighting them, but Gerald's kidnapping of Nicky and Kendra convinces her that simply surviving isn't enough, and fighting against the School is the only option for something better.

* EvilMentor: Some Templars are assigned as teachers for Schoolchildren.

* TrainingFromHell: Ludmilla had been left alone in a cold abandoned seed vault in northern Sinnoh as part of her training when Dune finds her during Re: Glitch, and other Schoolchildren get similarly harsh training regimens with the constant threat of [[DeadlyEuphemism "liquidation"]] for failure. According to Orloff, it's not unusual for a whole class to be liquidated for one Schoolchild's failure. Only a few if not just one of the Schoolchildren in a Batch will manage to "graduate" after the 6 to 10 year average testing period.
* UriahGambit: Chiyo suspects, and Adelinde later confirms, that the School purposely sends Templars that they wish to get rid of into combat with her to save them the trouble of having to liquidate them.

* SuperSupremacist: Repeats the common Templar mantra that non-Aurics are only useful as pawns or sexual objects, and openly speculates if Tagg (Classical Auric) only dates the non-Auric Channah for sex the first time she meets her and Chiyo. It makes a direct contrast from the Truancy Gang considering themselves no different from other humans. Despite this, [[{{Hypocrite}} she has a non-Auric lover.]]

* HairTriggerTemper: Though she's good at hiding it, Dr. Aulstyne is definitely the easiest member of the group to set off. And considering her position at head of weapons defelopment, this is usually both a good source of inspiration as well as an ''incredibly'' dangerous gambit for whoever is doing the provoking.

* NervesOfSteel: Despite not being a fighter, apart from her eyes betraying her fear Lydia keeps an even tone of voice even while Chloe has a knife at her throat and the willingness to use it.

* FantasticRacism: Repeats the common Templar mantra that non-Aurics are only useful as pawns or sexual objects, and openly speculates if Tagg (Classical Auric) only dates the non-Auric Channah for sex the first time she meets Chiyo and Channah.

* KickTheDog: Refers to Vana's impending death as a shame but as something expected for a non-Chiyo Schoolkid. Chiyo [[TalkToTheFist takes physical offense.]]

* SupportPartyMember: She mentions that she's no good at direct combat, and it shows when Chiyo decks her in the face for hitting a nerve regarding the dying Vana and bullying Channah.
