* CanadaEh: Given who he's named after, this was more or less a given.

** The first time was in the Turffield Gym, against Milo's Gigantamaxed Eldegoss. Despite the fact that he had the type advantage against said Eldegoss, it didn't change the fact that Eldegoss was fully-evolved and therefore stronger than the then-Scorbunny Elton. His Max Strike ultimately critted, sending Elton down to just ''14 HP''. Regardless of that, however, Elton refuses to give up, and his Blaze ability soon activates as he promptly evolves into a Raboot ''while still Dynamaxed''. His next Max Flare KOs the Eldegoss then and there.

* ScarsAreForever: Dio's trademark identifier is a scar running through his right eye; he recieved it due to being [[spoiler: slashed across the face with a knife by his old Trainer.]]

* CharacterTics: He is prone to [[LuminescentBlush blushing]] whenever he recieves any praise or is particularly embarrassed by something.

* ImageSong: "Distant Early Warning" by Music/{{Rush}}, which is where she got her summoning catchphrase, "Red alert, [name]!", from.

* DespairEventHorizon: He hits this ''hard'' upon hearing about the death of Neil Peart and the subsequent breakup of [[Music/{{Rush}} his favorite band.]] It gets so bad that the others have to set out to try and find him due to him running away from the Wild Area.

* GriefSong: While it's not sung by Geddy himself (though it ''is'' sung by [[Music/{{Rush}} his namesake]]), Rush's "Halo Effect" plays in the background in the midst of the "Depression" stage when Geddy goes through the FiveStagesOfGrief regarding Neil Peart's death.

* HiddenDepths: Geddy's favorite band after the [[Music/{{Rush}} obvious]] [[Music/DreamTheater two]]? ''Music/CoheedAndCambria.'' Who, yes, are also a progressive rock band... but who have ''very'' different lyrical themes compared to the other two, if "Welcome Home" is any indication. The Bond or Break game also reveals that his favorite ''song'' that isn't by the aforementioned two bands is "The Night Chicago Died" by Paper Lace... which is a song about Al Capone laying waste to the city of Chicago and killing police officers, implying that despite his MartialPacifist behavior, Geddy has a bit of a NightmareFetishist side to him.

* ImageSong: According to [=Goldenheart388=], Geddy's English character theme is "The Pass" by Music/{{Rush}}, so picked due to the song being an anti-suicide track, and a reminder that "all of us do time in the gutter/dreamers turn to look at the cars". Considering Geddy's nature as TheCaretaker and TheHeart of the group, he would most likely be the first member of the team to stop someone from considering or attempting suicide, comfort them through their personal issues ("[[YouAreNotAlone it's not as if you're all alone/in wanting to explode]]"), or scold/lament for them in the event that they ''did'' commit suicide ("Christ, what have you done?"). In addition, the song was among Geddy Lee's favorites to perform as a member of Rush. His Broadway character theme, "You Will Be Found" from ''Dear Evan Hansen'', deals with similar aspects of Geddy's personality as "The Pass", mainly his kindness towards others and belief that someone is better than they think they are, as well as his tendency to pick other people up after they've been brought down.

* MeaningfulName: Geddy was named after Geddy Lee, the lead singer, bassist, and keyboardist of the prog rock band Music/{{Rush}}. While mainly named as such due to his DudeLooksLikeALady-esque design fitting with the gender confusion that many fans had towards Lee for years, the name also is an indication of his nature. Geddy Lee is, in essence, the "purple" oni to the RedOniBlueOni pairing that was Alex Lifeson (a goofball of the highest order) and Neil Peart (who was shy, bookish, and philosophical). By contrast, Lee is a modest NiceGuy-- in an interview with Dan Rather he mentioned feeling guilty for an entire tour bus ride home after he walked away from a group of fans who wanted his autograph. While far more sensitive than his namesake, Geddy (the Primarina) ''is'' extremely modest and kindhearted, and has an incredibly powerful singing voice similar to that of said namesake.
