-> A sub-leader of Amnesia who can appear at the end of Hilda's arcade scenario if the player has scored over 200,000,000 points. She appears alongside Enkidu to dispose of Hyde and Linne, making sure to deliver a few insults aimed at her boss before leaving. Dialing it back a couple chronological months in Chronicle Mode, she's brought up as one of the potential recruits for Amnesia by Chaos when he discusses notable recruits for the group after many in-births flock to Amnesia following their victory over Bankikai.\\\
Her powers, as of now, are unknown but she carries around a parasol and a coffin.

* {{Necromancy}}: While Uzuki's powers haven't been fully explained, she has a very obvious ghost motif. Her 2020 Valentine's Day illustration has her surrounded by cutesy-looking ghosts, skeletons, and an undead looking rabbit doll thing called Usa-Bone.

-> The Leader of a group of In-Births called Bankikai, with Strix and Zohar being his two friends and sub-leaders beneath him. The organization was apparently growing fast enough to attract attention from both Amnesia and Licht Kreis and Ogre eventually did battle with Amnesia before unforeseen circumstances caused the group's disbanding and his own death.\\\
Ogre possessed an ability called Gate to the Netherworld: The Gate of Hades which not only boosted his strength, but also summoned a gate that released a strange fog. This fog could corrode armor and weapons.

* HeroicSacrifice: When Roger turned into a void and Gordeau was unable to bring himself to kill his friend, Enkidu stepped up to deal the mercy kill. Ogre however declared that he would be the one to do so, as he explained that he didn't know Roger when he was a person and thus would have the least guilt if he were to kill him. Ogre didn't survive the attempt and took a hit for Gordeau. Remember, this occurred AFTER Ogre's duel with Hilda and he's the one saving his "enemies".

* HeelRealization: [[spoiler: In Hyde's ending, he finally realizes just how far he's fallen and makes no attempts to try and justify himself, fully accepting that he attempted to destroy the world by his own choice and allowing Hyde to kill him without regrets.]]

** A nigh-immortal being with untold and potentially limitless amounts of power who wears a large robe to conceal most of his youthful body, shares a personal connection to one of the main protagonists of the series, and ''also'' acts as TheChessmaster and serves as the BigBad of a fighting game series. He's basically the light novel equivalent of [[Characters/GuiltyGearAsukaRKreutz Asuka R. Kreutz]]. The sequel makes this much more apparent as he has allowed himself to age forward just like Asuka has in ''-STRIVE-''. The whole body double thing also somehow lined up this coincidence as well. His DeathSeeker motivations and desire for atonement from his past mistakes also eerily parallel Asuka's storyline in ''-STRIVE-'', where he's [[PleaseKillMeIfItSatisfiesYou OK]] with Sol killing him if it would make him happy and redeem Asuka in the end.

Kuon was granted an abnormal amount of EXS from the Hollow God, which manifests as the EXS of the Abyss: '''Aeon'''. He formerly dual wielded a traditional set of katanas in combat although it is not known what sort of abilities he can utilize now aside from his immortality. He was the original wielder of the Insulator, which he used to cut off the overflow of EXS that was turning Waldstein into a Void. His status as the Insulator's original wielder is reflected in his current weapons: A set of Insulator replicas collectively known as '''Insulator: Imitate'''.

!!Kaguya Seikaiguu

* DishingOutDirt: Downplayed. While it's not his main ability, Tsurugi has a heavy association with earth and stone. A few of his moves have names that invoke the earth (Earth-Breaking Excavator, High-Pressure Geo-Crusher, etc.), his Infinite Worth has him punching the ground so hard that large stalagmites are left jutting out of the ground, and the LogoJoke in his gameplay reveal trailer involve both the Arc System Works and French Bread logos bursting through a stone wall.

* WellIntentionedExtremist: Kuon's only desire is to atone for his own mistakes as well as those of his clan, even being willing to go so far as to die in order to do so. The problem? He's so fixated on his own redemption to such an insane degree that he's willing to use any means necessary in order to finally end his centuries-long existence, even if it means destroying the world in the process. Because of this, as well as his status as an immortal Re-Birth with the closest possible connection to the Hollow Night itself, this makes him a VillainByDefault.

He's also one to Seth, as while like Seth he's lost his original idealism and become very cynical and jaded towards the reality of his situation and wants to atone for the mistakes of his clan, Kuon doesn't care who he has to use or what methods he has to employ in order to achieve his goals, including his own sister Linne whose wishes both Hyde and Seth want to fulfill in their own way. Even his theme music serves as a contrast to both of theirs, featuring the same instruments (synthesized drums from Hyde, heavy guitar riffs from Seth) but setting them to a DarkReprise of the very first song that Raito ever composed for the series in its debut trailer.

* ShadowArchetype: Kuon is what happens when the AllLovingHero makes a major, selfless sacrifice in an attempt to quell a dire situation without thinking of the ramifications or consequences of their actions, both to themselves and especially their loved ones. -> The second-in-command of the Exist Force Guardians, AKA the EFG, a vigilante group made by and for students that became In-Births to help acclimate to their new abilities. Tsurugi scouted out Phonon after hearing rumors of an incident involving her and her subsequent absence in school, leading him to deduce that she awakened her abilities as an In-Birth. Tsurugi is a second-year high school student who attends the same school as Hyde and is noted as being good friends with him. He is a positive and cheery young man, if a bit reckless and headstrong, being described by Phonon as looking like a typical sports jock. His tendency to rush straight into action has left him under the watchful eye of Komatsu, the student council's secretary and fellow In-Birth who he often butts heads with.\\\

Bulwark's obviously defensive nature is showcased through Tsurugi's charged heavy attacks having guardpoint properties to plow through attempts at retaliation.\\\
His Force Function, '''Skid-Scare Loader''', also plays into the durability of Bulwark as Tsurugi enters a defensive stance that will guardpoint any attack that is not a low. From there Tsurugi can follow-up with '''Breaker'''; an advancing shield-bash, '''Cromlech Setter'''; a leaping skateboard trick, '''Land Grader'''; a shield-surfing slide, a dash forward that ends with his shield back up, or a backdash that cancels that stance.\\\
His Infinite Worth, '''Earth-Breaking Excavator''', has him slamming the ground with his shield hard enough to launch the opponent skywards while also causing rock spires to jut from the ground. As Bulwark vanishes, Tsurugi leans back and rears his left arm to prepare for a powerful strike. He then re-summons Bulwark to charge it with power to strike his descending opponent.

* AffectionateNickname: Apparently Tsurugi calls Hyde "Kido-cchi" and it's not out the world for him to have been the one to start calling Komatsu as "Koma-chan".

* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: Going with the theme of ''UNI'' taking several cues from ''VideoGame/MeltyBlood''/''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}'', Tsurugi is very clearly based on Arihiko Inui, being the HotBlooded, orange haired best friend of the main protagonist. Where they differ, however, is while Arihiko is Shiki's MuggleBestFriend, Tsurugi is already an experienced In-Birth who has been partaking in the Hollow Night for way longer than Hyde has.

* BenevolentBoss: Tsurugi isn't the proper leader of the EFG, he mainly does most of the work involving new recruits and acts friendly towards all of them. He's done enough recruiting to have an informal protocol for bringing students from outside the school to the Student Council Room. While the real leader is the yet unseen Student Council President of the school, the Student Council Room is utilized as the EFG's Headquarters.

* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: His in particular is enormous, dwarfing him in both width and height. Unlike his predecessors [[VideoGame/MeltyBlood Riesbyfe and Mash]], Tsurugi actually uses his shield to block incoming attacks with a number of his charged heavy buttons as well as his Force Function.

* EyesAlwaysShut: Much like Enkidu, Kaguya's eyes are always seen shut, giving her an air of refined, composed elegance and also alludes to her nature as a [[TheGadfly gadfly]].

* MovesetClone: Subverted. Presumably having gone through the same type of training, Kaguya shares a lot of similarities with Orie between using a lot of kicks for their normals + throw animation, aerial leaps, and backdash that have them performing a backflip.
** Both of them even shout Chain Shift when they activate it.

* TechnicalPacifist: Much like Orie's Ruler that is said to only harm those who are not pure of heart, Kaguya states her bullets only punish the wicked.
