* IconicOutfit: When he's in Arknza or Edgar Kharon "mode", he wears a WildWest-style outfit consisting of black dress pants, a white dress shirt, a black vest, and a black cowboy hat (with or without a Lurker mask); when he's heading into battle, he often pairs it with armor of some kind (usually an armored leather vest, a knight's helmet, and/or a mechanical arm covering). Canonically, the ensemble is a tribute to both King Uriel (whom Azrael [[FanBoy greatly admired]]) and Edgar Kharon (whose identity he adopted).

* InformedAttribute: He describes his appearance as that of a "well-dressed gentleman", and Michael states that when Azrael commandeered his body on May 15th, he used it to shop for “finely tailored dress shirts”. The Commanding Queen of the Paradisium and former Arkn High Muse of Radiance, Song, and Empathy, Ambriel is the daughter of Josephine and Kryatha and the granddaughter of Raziel. She is the only member of Raziel's family to survive the Inquisition, and was raised as an Intoner under the name Lahabrea, completely unaware of her heritage. After discovering her true identity and her destiny, she flees the Paradisium, hiding out on Earth in the guise of a human until she is found by The Carver and sent to the Infernous. After twenty-one eternities of torture, she is released by Azrael, and briefly takes his place in the Paradox Players [[spoiler: when he is unable to escape]]. She is the fifth Arknza of prophecy, described as "a Queen fit to rebel".

The King of Arkaissa, former Prince of Elysium, and former Arkn Knight of Battle, Time, Madness, and Beetles (and self-proclaimed "God of Beetles"), Ellpagg is the adopted son of King Uriel, and the brother of Seraphina. He is the heir to the throne, destined to become the Third King of Elysium. However, after agreeing to negotiate a surrender with The Carver, he is stripped of his memories and thrown into the Infernous, where he suffers countless eternities of torture. By the time he escapes, he has lost his Arkn traits and acquired powers beyond the scope of either the Arkn or the Dekn. Realizing that the War is hopeless, Ellpagg founds the Kingdom of Arkaissa, a neutral zone for defectors; he sets out to awaken the Paradox Players, hoping to establish a neutral counter force that will bring an end to the War. During the final battle against The Carver, he takes on the role of the Seventh Arknza. Ellpagg is not mentioned in the Arknza prophecy.

* PowerGlows: According to Raphael (who encountered him twice as a young boy), he constantly glows with a blue light.

* DrivenToSuicide: While living as Elliot Kenneth, he heard voices and suffered from disturbing hallucinations; these eventually became so overwhelming that he attempted to kill himself. It is implied that [[spoiler: Persophelus Vine saved his life]].
* FingerGun: He channels his powers through this gesture to cause immense pain and suffering in others. ([[CallBack It's a trick the Carver taught him.]])

** Uriel and Alex converge in the time between the last episode of Wayward_Winter ("An Even More Bitter Winter") and the next episode of the revived ACFW ("0. Last Call"). Their merger occurred in the Nexillium[[note]]the remains of the original Earth[[/note]], and was apparently very rough, leaving both with total [[LaserGuidedAmnesia amnesia]]. * RagtagBandOfMisfits: The Paradox Players are a team of four demi-gods consisting of a disgraced king, a cynical knight-turned-medic, a burned-out [[NinjaPirateZombieRobot space cowboy-knight-grim reaper]], and a pacifist wizard. This is Lampshaded by Gilgamesh in "Poking at a Lion" ([=MedBoy789=]), in which he describes them to Raphael as "[A] ragtag band of misfits. And not the heroic kind either, I'm talking about a cowboy, a wash-up, and a throwaway."

The Second Commanding King of Elysium, King of Kings and King of Battle [[spoiler: and the Infernous]], Uriel is the only child of King Gilgamesh, father of Seraphina, and adoptive father of Ellpagg. He was the Commander of the Golden Army, and was a fair ruler, much beloved and respected by his subjects. However, after his Council consigned Ellpagg to the Infernous in his absence, he turned against them and beheaded one of the Council members. Imprisoned for his crimes, he escaped and hurled himself into one of the .Reality cores, generating countless human translations of himself across the timelines of .Reality. After a period of self-imposed exile [[spoiler: in the Infernous]], he escapes to Timeline B, where he merges with Alex Winter. He is the first Arknza and Paradox Player, described in the prophecy as "born of a line fit to rule as Kings".

* BadassPacifist: He may have taken a vow of non-violence, but make no mistake: he’s a very capable warrior who could easily kick your ass if he so desired.

* BloodKnight: During the First War, he fit this to a ''T''. In his own words, "[t]he amount of Dekn I killed without mercy cannot be numbered by human thought...I was only meant to be a weapon...everything was only red in my eyes. An animal that only saw prey."

* DarkAndTroubledPast: To say Raziel has lived a long and troubled life would be a ''massive'' understatement. His early role was that of a bloodthirsty warrior, mowing down countless Dekn both on the battlefield and off. He then served as a murderous religious leader, sacrificing innocent Dekn to the Hethe. Following the First War, he was so afraid of the darkness within him that he magically ''exorcised'' his evil half -- whose actions subsequently brought about a great deal of death and destruction (and led to his being punished by Raziel's own hand). His life partner -- the same Arkn who taught him to know love and peace for the first time -- was publicly executed, along with their children and grandchildren while he was ForcedToWatch, [[HoistByHisOwnPetard bound by magic chains of his own creation]]. When he returned to Arkn society after his thousand-year exile, he was forced to aid in the capture and brutal punishment of the Watchers -- including his own apprentice and the brother of his best friend. It's no wonder he began to prefer the company of humans to Arkn.
* DotingParent: As several of the entries of Writings show, he’s a '''very''' loving parent to his son, Chamuel, and tries to give him the best life possible.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: While his knowledge (particularly of inner-Dekn workings and the First Reality) and fighting skills were regarded as invaluable in the First War, Raziel's study and mastery of magicks -- which not only created the Arkn and Dekn realms and enabled the Arkn to defend themselves, but essentially ''ended the First War'' -- ultimately brought him little security. At some point between the two wars, his [[WizardSchool magick college]] was shut down by the Arkn government[[note]]under the fear that the magicks he was teaching could be used to overthrow them[[/note]]; he was later arrested on the grounds of breaking a vow to the Hethe, publicly stripped of his honors and book of magic, and exiled to the wastelands -- after being forced to watch the brutal execution of his family. * MalignedMixedMarriage: Though it wasn't a marriage in the traditional sense, his partnership with Phoenix (with whom he produced a child) definitely counts. His secret marriage to Hazel (who was working-class and thus "beneath" him) also qualifies.

* WillfullyWeak: Raziel is the most powerful Arkn Mage who has ever lived, with the abilities of a RealityWarper -- and he ''never shows it''. This is partly due to TheMasquerade (his book of magic was taken as part of his sentence), and partly due to his vow of pacifism and the fear of [[AfraidOfTheirOwnStrength the killing machine he could once again become if he were to use his powers at full capacity]].

* FakeMemories: While it isn't stated in-series, WordOfGod says that [[spoiler: Ellpagg gave him Edgar Kharon’s memories after he converged with Xerex; this convinced Azrael that he was Edgar reincarnated, and (as Ellpagg had hoped) transformed him from a soppy, insecure young man to a cool, confident badass. (He still remembers his human life, but believes it to be a “false” one -- hence the casual, detached way he discusses his family (particularly their deaths.)]] After he suffers a beatdown from The Carver in the Infernous, he begins to reconnect with his real memories (and subsequently becomes much more emotional and human-like).
** Those aren't the only fake memories he carries: in reality (also according to WordOfGod), Michaelis witnessed the murder of his entire family, including Alex (who was shot by [[spoiler: Carver-possessed Ellpagg]]), when he was 9 years old; when Ellpagg entered his timeline, however, [[spoiler: the Debigrath Effect caused Michaelis to receive his memories of that timeline and several others -- namely, the events that transpired when he killed multiple versions of Alex]]. As a result, Michaelis remembers Alex murdering their parents and Alex and Liz surviving to adulthood. He also has two different sets of memories of himself and his siblings shooting each other in an abandoned church at the exact moment their timeline broke: one where the bullet fired by Alex pierced his heart and killed him, and one in which the bullet stopped short as the timeline broke, and he had the life squeezed out of his heart by Xerex while floating in the miasma outside the timeline. [[spoiler: In both, however, he was responsible for his own brother's death -- and carries the false guilt of that murder with him as a result.]]
** [[WhatCouldHaveBeen Had Solar’s Crimson continued through a second season]], Michaelis would have fully regained his real memories, come to terms with both his past and present lives, and eventually learned to accept his identity as an Arknangel and his place in the prophecy. Ambriel and the city succeed in destroying the Carver's army before her life energy is expended and the rings of the Paradisium crash into the sea.]]

!!Raguel'Ishmael'Ahab Elm

The Arkn Warrior of Justice and Vengeance, Raguel is the son of [[spoiler: Abaddon and Hash'bor'kanibal]] and the brother of [[spoiler: Raphael and Asmodeus]]. A former soldier in the Royal Army, Raguel set out to investigate reports of a Dekn named Legion amassing great forces and purportedly experimenting on Arkn and Dekn alike. After many, many years searching for Legion, Raguel was ultimately overwhelmed by Legion's forces and murdered [[spoiler: by Legion himself]], using his own weapon. Imprisoned in the Infernous, Raguel was subjected to torture so extreme that it fractured his soul. Now he has been freed from his prison, his purpose realized, and has begun the arduous process of reclaiming his lost fragments and locating the Reality Root — a legendary relic that could aid Legion's plotting — before Legion can claim it. The Persopheleums' meddling prompts Ellpagg to step in and become his Guardian, training him to awaken his Arkn blood. However, Ellpagg's harsh treatment (and Michael's own mental instability) pushes into siding with the Dekn, rather than remaining neutral. When Michael tries to forge his own path fighting for the Dekn, the Persopheleums meddle in his life again. Ellpagg steps in to try to help him again by moving him into the "right" timeline via a forced relapse...which sends him right into the path of the Hooks Killer, who guts him, sending him to the Infernous. The Carver offers to free Michael, in exchange for becoming his Guardian. In desperation [[note]](and because he doesn't trust Azrael, who also offered to help)[[/note]], Michael takes the deal; he's freed from the Infernous -- and is immediately [[spoiler: possessed by The Carver.]]

The King of Arkaissa, former Prince of Elysium, former Arkn Knight of Battle, Time, Madness, and Beetles (and self-proclaimed "God of Beetles"), Ellpagg is the son of [[spoiler: Hash'bor'kanibal]], the adopted son of King Uriel, and the brother of Seraphina. He was in line to become the Third King of Elysium. After agreeing to go on a mission to negotiate a surrender with The Carver, however, he is stripped of his memories and thrown into the Infernous, where he suffers many eons of torture. By the time he escapes, he has been stripped of his Arkn traits, and possesses powers beyond the scope of either the Arkn or the Dekn. Realizing that the War is hopeless, Ellpagg founds the Kingdom of Arkaissa, a neutral zone for defectors; he sets out to awaken the Paradox Players in an attempt to establish a neutral counterforce and bring an end to the War. During the final battle against the Carver, Ellpagg takes on the role of the Seventh Arknza. Unlike the other Arknza, he is not mentioned in the prophecy.

The titular character of Michael's Camera. A patient of Dr. Ellis, Michael is a highly disturbed young man who (like many of the other patients) begins filming himself to document the progress of his new medication. He becomes a person of interest to numerous being due to being open vessel. He is the Guarded Human of Ellpagg. Michael is long believed to be an Arknza, and one the prophesied Paradox Players quartet. However, he is eventually discovered to be a Nephilim [[spoiler: (and the son of The Carver)]].

* AntiAntiChrist: He's the child of [[spoiler: the Arkn Mythos' answer to Satan]], and is destined to be his vessel in .Reality However, he wants nothing more than to be a "true hero", and tries hard to the right thing (i.e. what he feels will most benefit humanity).
* CosmicPlaything: Every factor of Michael's existence has been manipulated by forces outside his control. He was sired by [[spoiler: the Carver (in the form of an Arkn)]] for the sole purpose of providing him with a vessel, and every major event of his life was orchestrated to force him into fulfilling his destiny.
** To wit: Michael was kidnapped as a child by a branch of the M.E.E.C., who (believing he was an Arknza) drained him of massive amounts of blood in an attempt to "remove his Arkn blood"; their efforts failed, and left him mentally unstable. As a result, Michael ends up seeking help from Dr. Ellis, whose medication allows him to see inhuman beings and brings him into contact with the Persopheleums. The Persopheleums' meddling prompts Ellpagg to step in and become his Guardian, training him to awaken his Arkn blood. However, Ellpagg's harsh treatment (and Michael's own mental instability) pushes into siding with the Dekn, rather than remaining neutral. When Michael tries to forge his own path fighting for the Dekn, the Persopheleums meddle in his life again. Ellpagg steps in to try to help him again by moving him into the "right" timeline via a forced relapse...which sends him right into the path of the Hooks Killer, who guts him, sending him to the Infernous. The Carver offers to free Michael, in exchange for becoming his Guardian. In desperation [[note]](and because he doesn't trust Azrael, who also offered to help)[[/note]], Michael takes the deal; he's freed from the Infernous -- and is immediately [[spoiler: possessed by The Carver.]]
** Unfortunately, it doesn't end there: when [[spoiler: The Carver]] finally leaves Michael's body, he tries to use the opportunity to do "something good"; he enters the Infernous garage -- and runs into Azrael, who (thanks to The Carver's manipulations) thinks Michael is still possessed and [[spoiler: promptly shoots him in the head]]. Poor kid was doomed from the start.
* DecoyProtagonist: The YouTube channel is his, and the first two and a half seasons are devoted to his exploits -- and founded on the firm belief that he is one of the four Arknza of prophecy. The Storn of Death, Damnation, and Lust and God of Frogs, Xerex is the third Storn brought into existence. He is known as the GrimReaper of the Arkn and Dekn, and is regarded as the only being who truly understands the afterlife. His monolith form is that of a frog, hawk, or white horse, due to his connection with salvation and death. He currently shares a body with Michaelis Winter as the fourth Arknza of prophecy.

* BadBlackBarf: When he takes over his and Michaelis's vessel, he sometimes causes him to vomit a putrid black sludge. (It's very likely that he only does this to infuriate Michaelis, as he's been shown to be able to possess him without the nasty side-effect.)
* BondageIsBad: In his first full-body appearance (in a now deleted video of ''Solar's Crimson''), he appeared clad in nothing but track pants and a bondage harness.
