Mother and son. They were one of the stronger teams coming during the race, never finishing below 4th place for the first four legs. Despite being one of the first teams to arrive at the Roadblock in the Yukon, Nicole struggled mightily with the Biathlon Roadblock, requiring 22 tries to hit 5 targets, and causing them to be eliminated in 8th place.

Gold Medalists from the Canadian Women's Hockey Team. They started off the season by becoming only the second team in franchise history to win the first four legs of the race[[note]]After Marc & Kat in Philippians 1[[/note]].

* TheLoad: They fell heavily into this in the fourth leg, first by attempting to hang onto Mickey & Pete at the Stamp It Detour when both teams were fighting to avoid last, then by asking every team at the Fan-Tan challenge for help, including Audrey when they were the last two teams remaining. this greatly annoyed the other teams, with Rex & Bob claiming they would never help the siblings.

* GenreSavvy: When they screwed up the Dogsled detour in the Yukon, they decided to immediately switch detours instead of having to make the 2 kilometer round trip to fetch the correct names.

Mother and son. During the race they finish primary in the top 4 most of the time. It looked like they were contenders to make it to the top 3 but in the Yukon, it all fell apart. At the Roadblock, Nicole couldn't hit her targets faster than anyone else, thus causing them to be eliminating and finishing in 8th place.

Once they completed the task, they said it was part of the game.

Despite being amongst the second group to receive the Blessing in Hong Kong, they struggled with the Master Chef detour while trying to look for their ingredients, and even then, were initially not able to complete the task successfully on their first try. As a result, they lagged behind Sukhi and Jinder (who also struggled with the detour but were able to get their ingredients correct on their first try), and were eliminated in 9th place.

Their six hours of penalties certainly would have eliminated them had Shawn not dislocated his shoulder.[[note]]Though they claimed on Twitter after the episode that they did not quit the surfing, and the entire penalty came from the Roadblock.[[/note]]
