Added DiffLines:

* DemiurgeArchetype: The Patriarch, supposedly the God of the setting, was once a mortal named Augustus Michael Yahweh who chased the mysteries of the divine with some allies before getting the power and turning on them. He intentionally keeps his subjects in eternal agony, hoarding his divine power for himself, because he believes only he is allowed to wield it, much like how the Demiurge keeps humanity trapped in the mortal, physical plane it created so that they may worship him.

Added DiffLines:

* SatanicArchetype: She is a witch who opposes The Patriarch, corrupting his temple, and her name is even an anagram of Lucifer. Of course, she turns out to be the rare [[SatanIsGood benevolent variant]] since The Patriarch is a tyrant and imposter.
* SatanIsGood: She is the local SatanicArchetype, and The Patriarch paints her as evil, but it turns out she is rebelling against him to save the souls he has imprisoned in the temple, dooming them to suffer so he can keep his divinity to himself.

The player character. They were created by the Patriarch to investigate and stop the corruption of his temple.
----
* NoNameGiven: They were just recently created by the Patriarch, who did not bother to even name them.

!Augustus Michael Yahweh

The god of the planes and creator of the Unnamed Soul.
----
* BigBad: The real one, as he keeps his subjects enslaved and suffering inside his temple just because he does not want to share his divine gifts, instead feeling himself to be superior. He is also hinted to be the one who corrupted the Guardians into becoming monsters as punishment for trying to share the gifts with mortals.
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Or mortal origin, at least; according to his notes, he was just a mortal chasing the mysteries of the divine before getting his hands on divine power himself.
* DrunkWithPower: His early notes paint him as being a reasonable and kind man in over his head, but when he acquired divine power, he let it go to his head and began seeing himself as superior to everyone else.
* LightIsNotGood: He is a god of light with angelic wings, and is also a case of GodIsEvil who is willing to keep his subjects in eternal torment just to keep his gifts of divinity to himself.
* KarmaHoudini: By the end of the first game, while the Unnamed Soul has escaped his control, he is still out there, and the game ends with the soul being sent on a mission to kill him for good.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: He used to have this relationship with Feucirl, whom he called his sister despite them being unrelated.
* MeaningfulName: Augustus means “magnificent”, which certainly fits how he sees himself. Micheal means “who is like God”, fitting his origin as a DeityOfHumanOrigin who is like God, but not really him. And Yahweh is the god of the Talmud.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: He calls Feucirl the “queen of the harlots” for opposing his tyranny.

The witch who corrupted the temple, according to the Patriarch.
----
* BigGood: She opposes the Patriarch and wants to free the mortals from their torment.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Her body is all black and she is the local SatanicArchetype, but is a benevolent BigGood fighting against the Patriarch and looking out for the protagonist.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: She is built up as the antagonist by the Patriarch and is the boss of the DiscOneFinalDungeon, the Chamber of Kether, but she is GoodAllAlong and wanting to free the mortals from the Patriarch, and after beating her, there are still two bosses left.
* GoodAllAlong: She is painted as the villain by the Patriarch for corrupting his temple, but it was already corrupted by him enslaving his people, and she wants to free them from their binds.
* FusionDance: Does one with the Unnamed Soul in the Chamber of Kether to fight the titular boss.
* LouisCypher: Feucirl is obviously an anagram of Lucifer, befitting her role as the SatanicArchetype.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: She is the only female character in the game.

[[folder:Assiah]]

to:

[[folder:Assiah]][[folder:General]]
The guardians of the chambers in the temple and the bosses of the game.
----
* MeaningfulName: The first four are named after the four words in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, while the last one is named after the topmost sephirot of the Tree of Life in Kabbalah. This fits with the Judaism theme of the game.

[[folder:Yetzirah]]

to:

[[folder:Yetzirah]][[folder:Assiah]]
The guardian of the Chamber of Assiah. He is a giant, humanoid creature with exposed flesh and a protruding brain.
----
* PuzzleBoss: To defeat him, you must put clones inside the switches which will shoot him. It mainly becomes a puzzle in the second phase, where you must discover how to do this while dodging the explosion attack that follows your movements and making sure it does not hit any of the clones.
* WarmupBoss: The first of the guardians, who must be fought before you are allowed to access the chambers of the other three guardians.
* SequentialBoss: It has two phases. First, you must put clones in switches that will shoot energy balls at it, hurting it. Once it has depleted its health, the second phase begins, which is similar but this time involves the vanishing blocks, and its main attack changes to an explosion attack that follows the player around.

[[folder:Atziluth]]

to:

[[folder:Atziluth]][[folder:Yetzirah]]
The guardian of the Chamber of Yetzirah. He is a giant, fleshy skeleton-like creature who chases the Unnamed Soul.
----
* AdvancingBossOfDoom: He chases you through several levels, and you must get to the end and activate the switches to defeat him.
* LevelInBossClothing: The battle against him consists of several levels of platforming where you must get to the end before he reaches you.

[[folder:Beriah]]

to:

[[folder:Beriah]][[folder:Atziluth]]
The guardian of the Chamber of Atziluth. He is a vampire-like entity.
----
* OmninousOperaCape: He wears a black one, adding to his resemblance to a vampire.
* PuzzleBoss: Like Assiah, defeating him requires you to put a clone in the switch, but the switch is being protected by a beam that will kill you if you touch it.

Added DiffLines:

[[folder:Beriah]]
The guardian of the Chamber of Beriah. He is a giant fleshy face with four appendages.
----
* BackgroundBoss: He stays in the background while the stage hazards serve as the actual threat.
* LevelInBossClothing: Unlike all the other bosses, he cannot even attack you directly; instead, the white hills which have served as a hazard throughout the Chamber serve as the main obstacle while you must run to the top.
[[/folder]]

Added DiffLines:

The guardian of the Chamber of Kether. He is a giant fetus.
----
* FetusTerrible: He appears as a giant, grey fetus, though he does not attack you until you destroy his body, exposing his inner organs.
