But this fact doesn't mean much in the Tower, where teams of the most skilled humans have barely managed to get foothold past the 40th floor. And this is ''after a decade'' of battling, spell-casting, and questing.

Level 5 triggers an AngstNuke capable of wiping out an entire Tower floor. What's left of her target is usually [[UnrealisticBlackHole sucked into her soul]] to punish forever as an ultimate penalty]]. She hasn't been seen going past 7, but [[CessationOfExistence it surely can't be good]] for the poor devil that evoked it.]]

* HairTriggerTemper: For all that is holy - unless you are one of the Dragons she serves without question, '''''Do NOT''''' say or do ''anything'' stupid to offend or make her angry with you. She will [[UnstoppableRage track you down wherever you go]] to exact retribution. The angrier she gets at you, the worse your punishment. If you annoy her properly, she will '''[[CurbStompBattle crush you like a bug]]''', and that'll be the end of the story. Successfully enraging the Wizard of Destruction easily nets you a CruelAndUnusualDeath. If you've ''really managed to piss her off?'' Hoo boy...[[spoiler:you've earned yourself a FateWorseThanDeath. * PayEvilUntoEvil: [[spoiler:She kills Grid in a [[GoryDiscretionShot violent offscreen fashion]] after the pig's latest failed attempt to assassinate her. Iona's so mad she unleashes the rarely-seen 5th level of her anger that's capable of levelling an entire Tower floor. The evil monster is cut up into meat, and later given to Sejun as a gift (who mistook it as a leftover item from the Red Ribbon royal family vault). Grid's castle is utterly destroyed, allowing the enslaved Rabbits to reclaim the 55th floor.]]

* AwesomenessByAnalysis: [[spoiler:Iona knew straightaway Sejun couldn't be the Great Black Dragon. Even though dragons can [[GodInHumanForm polyform into human form]], the young weak man wasn't emanating any of their raw power she recognized. The hamster wizard ''wouldn't dare'' use the Tower system to scan Sejun to quickly confirm her misgivings, as if he was really the Tower Manager masquerading as a mere farmer, doing so would be an utter disrespectful intrusion of privacy. Such a breach of etiquette could earn the Manager's wrath and Wizard Guild's annihilation. She kept her suspicions to herself as they worked to rid the Tower of the [[HordeOfAlienLocusts locust invasion]]. She later concluded from close observation Sejun wasn't the Great Black Dragon, [[LiarRevealed but didn't rumble him]]. Iona was a little cross at being lied to, but forgive the man as the real Tower Manager and him were merely playing games. The hamster mage couldn't stay mad because spending time on Sejun's farm had brought her more fun and intimacy than she had in centuries.]]

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Iona commands all the wizards and mages in the Black Tower, and does her utmost to serve the [[PhysicalGod Great Black Dragon]] whom she has the deepest respect and reverence for. If you've broken the Tower's laws, or committed the crime of impersonating the Tower Manager, expect her to be your Judge, Jury, '''and Executioner'''. [[spoiler:She warns Theo when they first met, he [[BlasphemousBoast better not be lying to her about]] Sejun being the Great Black Dragon to curry favour among merchants.]]

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Just about everyone in the Black Tower ''hates'' him, and for good reason. The Merchants guild and Wizard council have frequently voiced their concerns he is purposefully hoarding food, or raising the price of goods, during famines. These complaints fall on deaf ears. Faced with starvation, wandering Mercenaries like the Coyotes (and formerly the Gray Wolf Tribe) only obeyed him because they had no other choice.

A tremendous wizard hamster known as the Wizard of Destruction of the Black Tower. She is the most powerful mage of the Tower and head of the guild that operate out of the 90th Floor. Iona [[SummonBiggerFish is summoned]] by the Merchant and Mercenary associations to deal with the impending crisis of the [[HordeOfAlienLocusts Locust Plague invasion]], that once almost destroyed the Tower's 55th floor over 100 years ago.

* PowerAtAPrice: [[spoiler:She formed a binding contract with the [[NightmareWeaver Nightmare Demon King]] to assume control of the Wizard's Guild. The lion's share of her strength comes from this unholy union, but Nightmare is an untamed and unruly familiar. Having this power would normally drive anyone else ''insane'' after several days. Unfortunately as Nightmare discovers, Iona is a NightmareFetishist ''and enjoys it''. Regardless, the demon has still made her TheInsomniac -- the hamster mage cannot sleep without experiencing endless nightmares. Iona is powerful enough to go hundreds of years without rest, but overall, this contributes greatly to her irritability and HairTriggerTemper. So for her, it's more like [[SubvertedTrope Power But At A Discount]].

* TheDreaded: Don't let her cute appearance fool you - she's one of the strongest creatures in all creation. Her subordinates and enemies alike are ''terrified'' of her. Before she happened upon Sejun's farm company, almost nothing except the gruesome death of the wretched one who incurred her wrath could possibly calm her back down again.

* TheAce: She is absurdly skilled as a magician. Sejun saw she was penta-casting (casting five spells simultaneously) while having a conversation with someone else. The most powerful human wizards can barely manage to cast two magic spells at once, and three was thought to be technically impossible. Seeing Iona do this at ease, the farmer realized she was on another level from any known mage.

[[spoiler:When the desperate Grid cowardly set her up in a confrontation with Kellion, the Tower Manager of the White Tower [[note]]in statue-form with only a third of his total power[[/note]] it was enough to elicit an OhCrap expression from her. Iona knew she couldn't win such a fight, so attempted to sacrifice herself instead, to buy the rabbits of the 55th floor precious time to escape. Fortunately, Kellion was summoned away by Sejun to the 99th floor.]]

The cub of the Crimson Giant Bear. Attracted by the smell of honey wafting from Sejun's farm, he fell into the cavern and met with the human and his monster friends. Cuengi imprinted on the man immediately, and fell in love with the taste of honey and vegetables. Cuengi sees Sejun as "[[ParentalSubstitute his father]]" and visits everyday.
