* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: The Gulp Worm literally shows up out of nowhere after Claire leaves the military training facility for the first time. There's no files or anything that even hints at where it came from.
* NoisyNature: When it surfaces, it likes to roar like a monster.
* SkippableBoss: Claire literally never has to fight the creature, as it moves so slowly that she can easily run through the area where it patrols and never get hit. Chris can do likewise, and unless Claire did the miniquest where she got Rodrigo the Haemostatic Medicine, there's no reason for him to fight it either -- if she did, then Chris has an incentive to do so, as killing it will give him the lighter and enable him to reach some valuable goods, including a pair of sub-machine guns.
* SwallowedWhole: It's large enough that it can devour a man in a single swallow, hence its name. It kills Rodrigo by devouring him in this way.
* UndergroundMonkey: It's basically a retread of the Gravedigger from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Nemesis''.

An experiment in creating amphibious B.O.Ws by applying the T-Virus to salamanders. Albinoids possess the ability to disperse deadly electrical voltage and are sizable, growing to a size of approximately 7 feet long in a mere 10 hours.

* BodyHorror: They're so mutated that it's almost impossible to recognize their salamander ancestry.
* PsychoElectro: They attack by emitting bursts of electricity from their bodies.
* RammingAlwaysWorks: The adult albinoid attacks by charging into its prey with bone-crushing force.
* SkippableBoss: Chris encounters an adult albinoid when he reaches Rockfort, swimming around in a pool. He can kill it, and it's quite easy to do because it can't leave the pool, but he can also save the ammo and just tank the damage to be had from jumping into the pool, retrieving the key item, and then leaving again.

An experimental humanoid B.O.W being developed in the prison labs. Alfred releases them onto the island to try and kill Claire and Steve.

* BodyHorror: Their features have shriveled away to give them an almost SkullForAHead look, their left arms have withered into shapeless nubs, their right arms have extended into long, boneless, tentacle-like appendages tipped with huge claws, their skin is an unhealthy yellow shade, and their body pulsates like it's made of rubber. The guidebook artwork for them is even worse, with the addition of veins so swollen and discolored they look like they have roots growing under their skin.
* CuttingCorners: Their Raison d'etre: They exist because the Tyrant program cost too much money and finding a suitable host was more difficult than not. Some genius came up with the Bandersnatch project as a means of mass producing Tyrants with a fraction of the costs; but as you can no doubt tell, they didn't succeed very well.
* EliteMooks: Combining high damage resistance with an extremely long attack range, Bandersnatches are the most dangerous enemy that Claire fights on Rockfort Island.
* ExtendableArms: The iconic characteristic of the Bandersnatch; their singular arm can stretch out for a distance of meters, allowing them to deliver claw swipes from a huge distance. They also like to grab onto an opponent's head and try to twist their victim's head off by violently jerking it back and forth.
* InASingleBound: Overlapping with WallCrawl. By extending their arm and latching onto a wall, railing or the ceiling, Bandersnatches can pull themselves over to new areas in a grappling hook manner.

A new experimental model of the T-103 Tyrant (aka "Mr. X") that was delivered to Rockfort Island. Alfred Ashford had intended to use it as a training aide for new squads of Umbrella Special Forces, but instead released it to kill Claire and Steve after triggering the compound's self destruct.

* BodyHorror: A given, however either due to a quirk in the artwork, or possibly intentional, this particular Tyrant seems to avert the usual BarbieDollAnatomy, and actually seems to have a penis, albeit ''fused to the skin of its abdomen''.
* ContinuitySnarl: It's never clear exactly what this particular Tyrant is called. Fans originally called it the T-078, after the markings on its storage capsule, but later lore stated that the markings are its ''batch number''. The ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil'' wiki calls it a "T-103 Mass Production Model", but it's never appeared in any other game.
* UndergroundMonkey: It's basically a replica of the T-002 Tyrant from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil1'', but visually it looks a lot like the Hypnos Tyrant from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilGunSurvivor''.
* WolverineClaws: Zigzagged. Initially subverted; this Tyrant has blunted limbs which it uses as clubs to batter and ram its victims. However, after entering the sea plane, it gains the characteristic claws.

Alexia's twin brother who had been running their estate and facilities on Rockfort Island in her place. Notably rather obsessed with his sister, having practically worshipped her ever since they were children, fully acknowledging her as the most intelligent of the two, and missed her for fifteen years.

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: As the latest successor to a formerly extremely influential family, Alfred was given a decent degree of authority within Umbrella even if he was kept out of its major politics. And every last file from those working under him all over complained about what a BadBoss he was.
* AristocratsAreEvil: The Ashford family is, in Alfred's own words, "one of the world's first and finest". He's a sadistic lunatic who keeps an illegal prison complex where people are injustly imprisoned by Umbrella, where he tortures and executes his prisoners on a whim. If that's not enough, he also conducts illegal bio-weapon experiments, often testing his products on humans.

Files around the prison note that he fully understood the sadistic impulses of the prison doctor and even encouraged them, going so far as to drop by and watch as he tortured people to death. Then there's his interactions with Claire and Steve, which consist of him randomly ambushing them with a sniper rifle and luring them into death traps. Alfred clearly likes blood, and both the novelization and ''Darkside Chronicles'' emphasize just how nuts he is.
* BadBoss: Files scattered around the prison reveal that his subordinates hated and feared Alfred for his cruel and unpredictable ways.
* {{Bishonen}}: Alfred has extremely fine, feminine features, which is justified by his status as HalfIdenticalTwins with the female Alexia. This aspect is toned down somewhat in ''The Darkside Chronicles''.
* BlueBlood: The Ashford family's origins begin with the English noblewoman Veronica Ashford (title "1st Countess Ashford" in some sources), meaning her ancestor Alfred, following the line of his male ancestors, is the 7th Earl Ashford.
* BrotherSisterIncest[=/=]{{Twincest}}: Really, just ask anyone who's played ''Code: Veronica''. The novelization makes Alfred's sexual feelings for Alexia far more obvious.
* ColdSniper: [[PlayingWithATrope Sort of]]; he is still childish and insane, rather than the stoic personality a ColdSniper usually has. However, he is definitely ''not'' a FriendlySniper, as he enjoys trying to shoot Claire and doesn't really like her.
* CloningBlues: Zigzagged; it's implied that he was also disturbed when he found out that he was an accidental by-product of Alexander's attempts at cloning Veronica, but it's never made clear just how much this actually bothered him.

* CreepyTwins: With Alexia. The love of torturing insects is just the most notorious example.
* TheDandy: Alfred is always dressed to the nines in an outfit that, at a glance, resembles a social club or military uniform. The novelization takes pain to emphasize how overblown it is, describing it as being more of a "child's vision" of such a uniform than an actual uniform.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: He's initially presented as the final boss of ''Code: Veronica''... except that when he dies, Alexia wakes up and reveals that she's the real end-boss.
* TheDragon: He is ultimately nothing more than Alexia's flunky, and he's quite content with that.

* HalfIdenticalTwins: He is the spitting image of his female fraternal twin, which is justified in a handwave about him having been an accidental side-product of the cloning-based pregnancy that created Alexia. It's somewhat downplayed in ''The Darkside Chronicles''.
* TheHeavy: To his sister's BigBad.
* InformedAttribute: Alfred is supposed to have above-average intelligence - not a genius like his sister, Alexia, but still smarter than the typical person. This does not come across during interactions with him, which instead portray him as more of a crazy lunatic. Even Alexia describes him as a "loyal but not very bright soldier ant".
* InsaneEqualsViolent: Alfred is one of the most overtly "crazy" characters in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil'', and is also a bloodthirsty sadist obsessed with war.
* LargeHam: His first appearance involves him ranting about being the illustrious commander of the Umbrella base where Claire is trapped (which she, rightfully, points out is an unimportant little backwater) and bragging about how the Ashfords are one of the world's "first and finest families", as well as founding members of Umbrella Inc. He doesn't get any less hammy from there.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: That Alfred is a cloning experiment was a late-game revelation in the original ''Code: Veronica''.
* MisplacedRetribution: Tries to kill Claire for falesly believing that she was responsible for the destruction of his base.
* MilesGloriosus: Invoked; Alfred is obsessed with war, with his trademark "uniform" and his vast, sprawling collection of war memorabilia, war media, weapons, and other war-related "toys", but is himself cowardly and completely inept in combat. He's so useless that he can't hit the broad side of a barn with an expensive ''laser-pointer equipped'' sniper rifle.

* PsychopathicManchild: He surrounds himself with memorabilia of an idealized childhood, including myriad creepy (and often mutilated) dolls, has a private playroom he uses as a personal retreat - complete with carousel, has an OminousMusicBoxTune as a leitmotif, behaves in a childish manner by throwing tantrums and make vainglorious remarks, and in general comes off as a crazy child despite being in his late 20s to early 30s. In the novelization, it's even called out that his clothing looks more like a child's vision of the kind of uniform he's trying to emulate than an actual uniform. ''The Darkside Chronicles'' ramps this up a notch or three, most notably in the horrifying and hideously childlike graffiti he's spread throughout his training facility.

The guidebook artwork for them is even worse, with the addition of veins so swollen and discolored they look like they have roots growing under their skin.
* CuttingCorners: Their Raison d'etre: They exist because the Tyrant program cost too much money and finding a suitable host was more difficult than not. Some genius came up with the Bandersnatch project as a means of mass producing Tyrants with a fraction of the costs; but as you can no doubt tell, they didn't succeed very well.
* EliteMooks: Combining high damage resistance with an extremely long attack range, Bandersnatches are the most dangerous enemy that Claire fights on Rockfort Island.
* ExtendableArms: The iconic characteristic of the Bandersnatch; their singular arm can stretch out for a distance of meters, allowing them to deliver claw swipes from a huge distance. They also like to grab onto an opponent's head and try to twist their victim's head off by violently jerking it back and forth.

* UndergroundMonkey: It's basically a replica of the T-002 Tyrant from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil1'', but visually it looks a lot like the Hypnos Tyrant from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvilGunSurvivor''.
* WolverineClaws: Zigzagged. Initially subverted; this Tyrant has blunted limbs which it uses as clubs to batter and ram its victims. However, after entering the sea plane, it gains the characteristic claws.

An enormous mutated annelid that appeared on the prison island after the T-Virus leak.

* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: The Gulp Worm literally shows up out of nowhere after Claire leaves the military training facility for the first time. There's no files or anything that even hints at where it came from.
* NoisyNature: When it surfaces, it likes to roar like a monster.
* SkippableBoss: Claire literally never has to fight the creature, as it moves so slowly that she can easily run through the area where it patrols and never get hit. Chris can do likewise, and unless Claire did the miniquest where she got Rodrigo the Haemostatic Medicine, there's no reason for him to fight it either -- if she did, then Chris has an incentive to do so, as killing it will give him the lighter and enable him to reach some valuable goods, including a pair of sub-machine guns.
* SwallowedWhole: It's large enough that it can devour a man in a single swallow, hence its name. It kills Rodrigo by devouring him in this way.
* UndergroundMonkey: It's basically a retread of the Gravedigger from ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil3Nemesis''.

An experiment in creating amphibious B.O.Ws by applying the T-Virus to salamanders. Albinoids possess the ability to disperse deadly electrical voltage and are sizable, growing to a size of approximately 7 feet long in a mere 10 hours.
