Subaru, for his part, can only feel extreme fear and repulse towards the mere thought of getting hugged by her and would prefer to be eaten by the White Whale.

* ImmortalitySeeker: When she was alive, Echidna performed an experiments on the Lewes clones in order to gain immortality as a side project after the original had sacrificed herself for the Sanctuary's Barrier activation. * SarcasmFailure: Gets hit with this when talking to Subaru due to him being one the few people she cannot understand.
* TheSociopath: Echidna is described as a black hearted person who is unable to understand conventional morality and feelings. Her main goal in life is to learn about everything, even at the cost of others. As a result, she is deeply interested in Subaru's Return by Death ability as it allow the user to learn of events and information from multiple different timelines.
* StellarName: Echidna refers to the 42355 Typhon I Echidna, a moon of the 42355 Typhon.
* SummonBiggerFish: Her soul was saved by The Dragon for this purpose. The idea being that she, and the souls of the other Witches, would act as a deterrent against Satella. She notes that Sekhmet would have probably been a better choice for that purpose, but speculated Volcanica probably had a grudge [[NoodleIncident because of that one time she beat them up to take a nap]].

In addition, Shaula notes that he has three "keys", which are implied to be Authorities, despite having Subaru having slain only two Archbishops at that point, with Return by Death alluded to be the Authority of Pride. In addition to this, an alternate If route written by the Author has Subaru join the Witch Cult and has him become the Archbishop of Pride, though it is unknown if he truly is the Archbishop or is just taking the title.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: She's obsessed with Subaru and in one loop [[spoiler:in which she possesses Emilia's body]], she chases after him while gliding with her arms out toward Subaru as if trying to hug him and shouting "I LOVE YOU!". Subaru, for his part, can only feel extreme fear and repulse towards the mere thought of getting hugged by her and would prefer to be eaten by the White Whale.
* AllYourPowersCombined: After killing all of the Witches of Sin, Satella absorbed their powers and became the modern Witch of Envy.
* AnonymousBenefactor: Is one for Subaru by bringing him to Lagunica and giving him his power.
* AxCrazy: Makes Elsa look like a kitten.

* ImmortalitySeeker: When she was alive, Echidna performed an experiments on the Lewes clones in order to gain immortality as a side project after the original had sacrificed herself for the Sanctuary's Barrier activation. * SarcasmFailure: Gets hit with this when talking to Subaru due to him being one the few people she cannot understand.
* TheSociopath: Echidna is described as a black hearted person who is unable to understand conventional morality and feelings. Her main goal in life is to learn about everything, even at the cost of others. As a result, she is deeply interested in Subaru's Return by Death ability as it allow the user to learn of events and information from multiple different timelines.
* StellarName: Echidna refers to the 42355 Typhon I Echidna, a moon of the 42355 Typhon.
* SummonBiggerFish: Her soul was saved by The Dragon for this purpose. The idea being that she, and the souls of the other Witches, would act as a deterrent against Satella. She notes that Sekhmet would have probably been a better choice for that purpose, but speculated Volcanica probably had a grudge [[NoodleIncident because of that one time she beat them up to take a nap]].
