Later, she is told by Laurie that the other girls were going to blame her if the team landed on the bottom.

Not helping her case was the fact that a few other contestants used clothlike materials but made a heck of a lot more effort than she did and were saved by their innovation and efforts to actually make something wearable and (in most cases) fashionable from candy[[note]]Buffi made the top, Dimitri made the hand-beaded skirt and Andrea had a candy dot apron[[[/note]]. * DiggingYourselfDeeper: When he works with a plus size client in episode 6, he completely fails to grasp that he shouldn't be saying things that remind her of her size, like mentioning that he doesn't have a belt in the right size.

Even more so now that she won the season, and she admitted that even she was surprised that she made it all the way to the end.

Not helping her case was the fact that a few other contestants used clothlike materials but made a heck of a lot more effort than she did and were saved by their innovation and efforts to actually make something wearable and (in most cases) fashionable from candy[[note]]Buffi made the top, Dimitri made the hand-beaded skirt and Andrea had a candy dot apron[[[/note]]. The judges were not amused and she was unsurprisingly auf'd.
