!!Queen Marie

The tyrant of the Nakabachi Kingdom, he is a vicious principal who sets up an extensive spy network among his fellow students.

The Shadow Self of Toshiro, he is the representation of his subconscious belief that his attempts to do good will only bring harm to others and the true tyrant of Nakabachi's Kingdom.

The true mastermind of the world, Salmael is a god born from humanity's instinct to avoid pain. Upon seeing the spark of rebellion in Toshiro's heart, he created the kingdoms and the people as representatives of his past as a way to break him.

A copy of Toshiro's mother acting as the leader of the rebel corps of Yoshiki Kingdom, saving whatever few of its citizens she could.

The person Yuki is based on. Mrs. Kasukabe wasn't as controlling as his father, but she was a frail woman who was constantly in and out of a hospital because of an illness. When young Toshiro asked her to go to a park atop a balcony, she collapsed on the floor on the way back home and died.

Toshiro's upperclasswoman and Erina's real-world counterpart, Natsuhara is a young woman with a strong sense of justice and will not hesitate to take inaction in front of injustice.

* MeaningfulName: Her English name is the first 5 characters of [[spoiler:the name of the person she's based on, '''Eri Na'''tsuhara]]. Her Japanese name is the first two kanji letters of [[spoiler:"Ernesto", her persona form]].

* AmbiguousSituation: [[spoiler:It's unclear exactly ''when'' Erina was born. The game implies Erina was born when Toshiro gained a HeroicSecondWind after watching the Phantom Thieves deliver their calling card against Shido and made him confess his crimes, though the "Repaint Your Heart" DLC also shows Toshiro, a willing sycophant of his father, being captivated by Guernica's newest mural (given the context of the DLC and later revelations, this is implied to be when Salmael first took notice of Toshiro), seemingly creating the "spark" of rebellion that would later become Erina. Alternatively, it's possible ''both'' events are what gave rise to her, with Guernica's mural igniting the "spark" and the calling card to Shido fanning the flames.]]

* WrongContextMagic: Guernica possesses a strange power that allows her to peer into people's hearts with her murals, as well as influence their feelings with her art. It's unique and entirely separate from any power seen in the ''Persona'' series thus far.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Lord Yoshiki is obviously furious at the belief that Toshiro will expose him of his corruption, but according to Toshiro after that encounter, his real-world counterpart will not fear him exposing his corruption to the public since he is very confident that he will not. This is the Phantom Thieves' first hint that the Kingdoms are built directly from Toshiro's worst fears and the residents there have nothing to do with their real-world equivalents.
