An alternate universe Roronoa Zoro. Void Agent 07 Agent Z is an expert swordsman who guards the Void Police Space Station. This Zoro possesses three named Black Blade Katanas. Each sword’s name seems to relate to the Void Police’s capabilities of travel between time and space. Jikan means “time”, Genjitsu means “reality” and Uchu means “The Universe/Outer Space”.

* CruelAndUnusualDeath: Is dissected by Ragnar like an 8th grade science project as he begs for his life. He’s also eaten by the big bear.
* DareToBeBadass: His goal is to find the One Piece by getting Verona to read in the Necronomicon about where it is. He does this so he can have frogs go down in history as being the best animals on this planet.
* FailureIsTheOnlyOption: The Necronomicon actually didn’t say where the One Piece was. Only that it to find the One Piece you need to find and decipher poneglyphs.

* Shoutout: To [[Franchise/TheMuppets The Muppets]] and Kermit of course. His name is just Kermit the Frog but with the Will of D.

* KarmaHoudini: By the end of the Movie, Fred D. Krueger and Jason are still on the loose.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: Once Kermit is beaten, Fred D. Krueger surrenders and lets all the characters leave his realm.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Michael Myers is [[TheTeamNormal The Team Normal]] and has no innate supernatural abilities. He usually stalks and kills regular civilians. Against a pirate crew who killed a Yonko, obviously he’ll fall over like a house of cards. [[CurbstompBattle Thus, doesn’t even get a turn before he’s killed]].
* WouldHurtAChild: Fred D. Krueger admits that now that he’s free he’s going to kill children.

* NotEvenBotheringWithAnExcuse: When Williams asks if he wants to join the crew, Ash bluntly refuses without any consideration.

The main antagonist of Movie 2: Muppet Madness, Kermit D. Frog was once just a tree frog who accidentally ate a devil fruit when trying to eat a fly. Now he wants to find the One Piece so frogs will be considered the greatest animals on the planet. Even if it requires the Necronomicon.

He ate the Muppet Muppet Fruit, which not only granted him greater intelligence and a plushy body, but allows him to transform those he touches into plushy puppets that he can fully control.

Muppetfied minions of Kermit D. Frog who listen to his beck and call. The minions consist of Jason, Fred D. Krueger, Pinhead and his Cenobite minions Elbows, Slither and Gills and Michael Myers. A horror movie bonanza. Jason also ate the Human Human Fruit, Model: Zombie.

* BrokenPedestal: The crew used to consider him amazing, super powerful and a reliable friend. Once he returns from the dead, he is just a greedy, whiny jerk who shows little respect for any of them. The PCs are also now each individually much stronger than he is. It turns out someone who seems all powerful at level 1 is actually not all that impressive at level 14.

* ActionHero: The crew have a diverse set of powers and are fans of barging in and kicking ass. Even when they try to be more covert, it doesn’t really last long until they need to fight their way out.
* AntiHero: Many members of the crew are not exactly the best of people and they have done their fair share of crimes. But their adventures have resulted in the world becoming a more peaceful place.
* BadassCrew: The Devil’s Luck Pirates become very powerful in less than a year. They have a captain who nearly mastered Rokushiki, a knight equipped with a supernatural arms and armor, and many of the crew have powerful devil fruits, including 3 Paramecia, 2 Zoan (1 of them being a rate mythical zoan) and a WATER Logia. By the end of the series, the four PlayerCharacters are all have bounties over a hundred million as well.
* TheChosenOne: On Planet Duros, there is a prophecy that describes the crew as demons who are the greatest enemies of the emperor. Ragnar transforming into a bear is enough to send Durosians into a panic.
* CombatPragmatist: One Piece is well known for its one-on-one fights. The DLP do NOT play by those rules and WILL dogpile and overwhelm their foes if given the chance.
* CriminalFoundFamily: They entire crew become enemies of the World Government. But they don’t care since they have one another. This is especially important since most of them have lost family members.
* FighterMageThief: Both the P Cs and the most combat-active NP Cs have a bit of this dynamic going on.
** Duros, Ragnar and Pearl are fighters. Duros focuses on his defense and keeping attacks away from his allies, Ragnar is an extremely strong and powerful Barbarian, and Pearl can fly quickly and use her claws, teeth and fire to take down her foes.
** William, Louis and Cyril are mages. William’s Roulette fruit allows him access to a menagerie of abilities depending on his creativity, Louis with his rewind powers essentially makes him the crew’s healer of sorts. Cyril prefers using various water-based attacks on his enemies from a distance (though will go into melee if necessary).
** William (again) and Doxie are thieves. Both of them being able to hide and sneak around easily while dealing good damage.
** Verona is a bit of a mix of the three archetypes, being an Arcane Archer. Like a fighter, he has pretty good Hit Points and plenty of damaging attacks. Like a mage, he can use his animations to either heal from a distance, extra damage or to gain valuable information. Like a thief, he and some of his animations can sneak around quite well to get the drop on foes.
* OneManArmy: Subverted. Though the crew each individually is stronger than most people in the One Piece world, none of them are as strong as roughly a Rear Admiral. But when they all work as one unit, the crew can unleash devastation and take down foes much more powerful than themselves quite easily.
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Despite being pirates, they honestly do not do too much pirating. They have robbed and killed before, but they have not pillaged really at all and they tend to leave civilians alone unlike most pirates.
* SuperDrowningSkills: Around half the crew have a Devil Fruit, which means that they cannot swim at all. It’s also been mentioned that Gravy can float but is also not much of a swimmer and Duros is in heavy armor that he pretty much never removes.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: More like favorite drink, but the entire crew likes pineapple juice a lot.
* WeirdnessMagnet: They have been through a lot of crazy shit, met a lot of weird people and encountered a lot of odd Devil Fruits in less than a year of sailing.

After winning a risky gamble in a dingy casino, William obtained the Roulette-Roulette Fruit, which creates a roulette on his body with 410 slots - each slot he lands on represents an existing Devil Fruit, of which he gains the power for a limited amount of time.

* AFatherToHisMen: Cares about each and every one of his crew-mates like family, even if he doesn’t always agree with them.
* BerserkButton: Has many of them.
** Do not insult the art of card tricks. It makes him mad enough that he might even forget who insulted card tricks in the first place.
** Taking his sword, the True Eight of Spades.[[spoiler: When Soldi took his sword,]] he was fuming and fantasized frequently about taking him down.
** It’s a given that hurting his crew would trigger a captain’s wrath, but [[PapaWolf attacking Doxie will make you enemy #1.]]
* TheCharmer: As a swashbuckler rogue, he had panache. Though oddly enough, he is not proficient with the Persuasion skill. But even then, he is able to get on people’s good side rather easily if he wants to.
* EveryoneHasStandards: A swindler and a rogue he may be, but slavery is a MoralEventHorizon for him.
* FearlessFool: It is hard to actually scare him when people warn him about certain individuals. Though when actually confronting those individuals and it’s going badly, he is prone to panicking.
* TheGambler: Loves gambling. And if he can find a way to cheat he will. Because as Boss once said “We’re not gamblers. We’re thieves”.
* GenreSavvy: Is somewhat aware of how things go when it comes to dealing with enemies and obstacles in the crew’s way. Like when Louis was about to speak about the Timber Lord’s commanders, he immediately predicted one was “huge and muscular” (Chuck) and the other was “a really hot girl” (Hemlock).
* HairTriggerTemper: Has a habit of violent outbursts or talking about committing violence when something or someone upsets him. Whether it be enemy pirates, marines or even a old man bugging him.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: William has done some messed up stuff (particularly to the elderly) and has angry and violent outbursts once in a while. Most of its it [[PlayedForLaughs played for laughs.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He’s a temperamental, violent thief with few regrets. But he’s also a loyal friend who will go out of his way to help his crew if they need it.
* InstantExpert: Never played a Violin before. But after getting a violin he played it beautifully.
** He also tends to get the hang of the fruits he spins rather quickly. Especially if he rolls them a second time.
* TheLeader: He is the captain of the Devil’s Luck Pirates and he won’t let anyone forget it.
* LovableRogue: Has stolen more than a few things and killed many people but is a swell and fun-loving guy once you get to know him.
* PersonalityPowers: While him getting the Roulette-Roulette fruit was, literally, up to chance, it fits his gambling-loving personality a lot, essentially forcing him to spin the wheel wherever he gets into a combat scenario, and hope for something good.
* ShipperOnDeck: He is very much supportive of Lyssa's attraction to Verona and supports them as much as he can without forcing it.
** He also hopes Pearl and Cyril get together and finds them to be good for one another.
** He is also actively writing fanfiction of both pairings.
* Sibling Rivalry: Him and Trevor rarely see eye to eye about anything. Their disputes range from actual fighting to juvenile insults and pranks (on William’s part).
* SupernaturalMartialArts: Learned Rokushiki from his adoptive father Boss. He has Soru, Tekkai, Geppo, Kano-E, Rankyaku, Shigan and [[spoiler: finally Rokuogan.]] He uses Geppo most frequently and was the first one he ever used. He’s even able to repeatedly Geppo to scale buildings.
* SuperpowerLottery: Well - superpower roulette in this case. William can potentially have any power from an existing Devil Fruit - be it a Logia, Zoan, or Paramecia - however, it's completely random, and he could get an universally powerful ability like [[Characters/OnePieceFourEmperors Whitebeard's]] Tremor-Tremor Fruit, or one that is very conditional and niche like a Devil Fruit that allows him to animate Origami.
** ComboPlatterPowers: He has been known to switch powers on the fly in battle to either find a better fruit to suit his needs at the moment or to spin a potentially more useful power. In any case, no two fights with William are the same.
** ImaginationBasedSuperpower: [[spoiler: When calling 666 on the wheel (which the wheel lacks), he was able to create his very own devil fruit power.]]
* TeenyWeenie: When the Player Characters rolled for penis size, it turns out William has a 3 inch penis. Which qualifies for having a micro penis.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Not evil per-say, but he's by far the most grey of the player character due to his upbringing, and his actions often cause chaos (and [[RunningGag the death of a few old people]]). WordOfGod states that if placed on a scale where 0 was pure evil and 100 was pure good, William would be a 55.
* WouldHarmASenior: His aforementioned hatred of the elderly is well known. Though a bit exaggerated (but not by much).
** He killed Cranstin after he was knocked out by Verona on his orders. William considered it a mercy.
** He was the one to [[spoiler:kill V.]] Though that death was much deserved.
** Kasparov was a twofer for William’s hatred. His hate for both old people and chess. But again it was deserved on Kasparov’s part.
** [[spoiler:His first kill at 12 years old was an elderly Celestial Dragon woman. He repressed the memory of killing her. Turns out, an alternate timeline version of her is the Director of the Void Police.]]

A kind-hearted knight in plate armor and the First Mate of the Devil's Luck Pirates with the desire to protect everyone. Can be a bit naive, but has his heart in the right place. He also really likes fishing.

His in-game class is Battle Master Fighter.

* TwentyFourHourArmor: He is almost never seen without his armor. He even sleeps in his heavy plate armor.
* AmbiguouslyAbsentParent: Duros never knew his parents. But he does not care because his crew is his family. And that’s all the family he needs.
* AnimatedArmor: His Za Wulfo Armor is possessed by a wolf-like spirit that helps Duros defend his friends. He later gains a sentient Shield he named friend as well.
* ArmoredButFrail: He is hard to hit, but his stamina is not the greatest due to low Constitution and poor hit point rolls on level up. It took him until level 14 to gain over 100 hit points.
* DeclarationOfProtection: Dedicated himself to protecting all his friends and anyone else he deems worthy of protection. He was also tasked with Prince Jasper on protecting Princess Pearl during their adventures.
* DiscardAndDraw: [[spoiler: When Benevolence ascends to godhood, it gifts Duros with a “son” who not only is stronger than itself (being a +2 longsword), but can grant Duros temporary hit points once per turn. Better yet, Duros can use a bonus action to grant healing to one of Duros’s nearby allies. Duros names this new sword The Light.]]
* TheDitz: Duros is not the brightest bulb and can be quite gullible at times. He also has an Intelligence score of around 6 or 7.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: He's the only player to never gain a Devil Fruit of his own, instead relying on his own skills as a fighter and the increasingly more powerful equipment - first the blessed sword Benevolence, then the Devil Fruit-having armor Za Wolfo, and finally the cursed shield Friend. [[spoiler:He's also the only one of the crew that has Conqueror's Haki.]]
* GuardianEntity: Za Wulfo is a wolf-like spirit that fused itself into a suit of armor. It loves protecting people just as much as Duros and extends the reach of who Duros can protect.
* HelmetsAreHardlyHeroic: Though decked in armor, he prefers to not wear a helmet. Though he occasionally wears hats.
* ICallItVera: After obtaining the blessed sword of the Tarako Kingdom from Prince Jasper, he renames it "Benevolence".
* KnightInShiningArmor: Tries to embody this Archetype as much as he can. Being a pirate, this has…mixed results.
* KnightlySwordAndShield: Though he started with a mace and handaxes, after being given Benevolence he embodies the fighting style. A rarity in the One Piece world.
* TheLancer: Is the first mate of the Devil’s Luck Pirates and tries to steer William (and the rest of the crew) to do the right thing.
* LifeDrain: Benevolences heals its wielder half the damage it inflicts once per turn. [[spoiler: The Light grants its wielder temporary hit points equal to the damage it inflicts once per turn and as a bonus action, he can expend his temporary hit points to heal a creature equal to the temporary hit points.]]
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Wields a shield to protect himself and others close by. He later gains a sentient shield he names Friend who can absorb energy based attacks and redirect them back at his foes.
* MyGreatestFailure: His failure to save Jasper from imprisonment and failing to save his fellow knights from being slaughtered still haunt him to this day.
* NiceGuy: Is extremely approachable, friendly, dutiful and patient with people. He always tries to do what’s right and makes sure those around him are safe. Everyone on the crew appreciates him dearly.
* OfferedTheCrown: Luna offers him the chance to be emperor of Planet Duros. He politely turns it down in order to keep his crew safe on their adventures. But it was the first time he thought of abandoning his duties for happiness.
** [[spoiler: Once he leaves the planet during the epilogue with Luna, he feels that he is ready to rule as Emperor of Planet Duros.]]
* OfficialCouple: With [[spoiler: Luna.]] Though they had a rocky start at first, over the course of the crew’s adventures on planet Duros, the two become closer. This leads to them spending the night together and Luna being pregnant with his child. This doesn’t bother Duros at all and he treats her as if they are already married.
* ThePaladin: While not ''officially'' a Paladin in terms of class, he is very thematically close to one: he wields a blessed sword, wears heavy armor (and a golden-colored one once he obtains Za Wolfo), is the most unambigously good member of the crew, and his powerset is heavily focused on defence rather than offence.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: He is a firm believer in it, to an almost comical degree.
* ShipperOnDeck: He ships both Verona with Lyssa and sees Cyril as a worthy suitor to his princess Pearl.
* StealthyColossus: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] - he is a pretty huge guy in even bigger armor unfit for stealth, but he'll often suggest going into stealth missions, completely confident he'll succeed.
* StoneWall: He may not deal the most damage in the crew, but his high armor class, his skills with protecting others and his ability to heal his wounds adds a lot to both his survivability and the survivability of the rest of the crew.
* TeamDad: Tries to keep a sense of order on the ship and give advice when necessary. He has also taken Cyril under his wing and trains him to be stronger.

A stoic masked man that doubles as the crew's Navigator and Sniper that is a killer shot with his rifle. He heads out with the Devil's Luck Pirates to find a Marine captain whom he has sworn vengeance.

His in-game class is Arcane Archer Fighter.

After a lucky find in the island of L'Arbor, Verona obtained the Animate-Animate Fruit, which allows him to imbue life to inanimate object he has touched and make them obey his commands. He is also able to look through his creations' eyes to scout ahead.

* AnimateInanimateObject: His power allows him to give life to any inanimate object (up to a certain size) - which makes them grow eyes, legs, arms and legs (regardless of what exactly the object is - when he used his power to animate a clockwork bird, the eyes and mouth appeared in the bird's belly). They also gain a personality, though they all share complete loyalty towards their master.
** SeeingThroughAnothersEyes: Verona can also see through the eyes of these objects.
** SnarkyInanimateObject: Some of his animations tend to have some sass to them.
** TalkingWeapon: Has animated his weapons to be able to attack by themselves.
* CareerEndingInjury: [[spoiler: Getting punched by Blue Blood three different times has seriously damaged his ribcage. Ten years later, he has developed breathing problems and needs to use a respiratory mask not unlike his late grandfather V.]]
* ColdSniper: Is a cool and collected marksman who prefers fighting from a distance.
* CollateralDamage: Though he is responsible when it comes to handling his guns, he is prone to accidentally shooting his friends. It’s gotten to the point that the crew jokes that you aren’t a full member of the Devil’s Luck Pirates until you get shot by Verona.
* CoolMask: Almost never seen without his face mask and goggles. It hides what’s underneath and most people wouldn’t like it. It also prevents his burn scars from being exposed to the elements.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Even when compared to his crew mates, Verona’s past is messed up. His Marine Captain Father Viridian was killed by a close family friend and set fire to the house the moment he heard a 12-year-old Verona inside. Verona escaped the fire with horrible burn scars and hid out in the woods with no supplies or shelter for over 2 months waiting for his mother. She never came. [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge So he dedicated his life to hunting down those who took everything from him.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: He doesn't talk a lot - but when he does, he tend to throw out some zingers.

* EatingLunchAlone: He prefers to eat in private so people do not see his burn scars.
* GadgeteerGenius: Has a knack for technology and has created his trick bullets all by himself. He also has multi-classed into Artificer.
* GogglesDoNothing: [[AvertedTrope Averted.]] They keep sand, water and other debris out of his eyes while he’s aiming or on lookout.
* ICallItVera: He called his first rifle 'Lil'Timmy', in honor of the kid that the crew [[NeverLiveItDown inadvertedly got executed]] very early on in the series.
* MagicFromTechnology: Being readapted arcane arrows, his special bullets have abnormal properties such as temporarily banishing enemies to another dimension or causing them to be charmed - all of which is handwaved away to be part of Verona's tinkering. [[spoiler:This also ends up being foreshadowing regarding Verona's family.]]
* MundaneUtility: The Animate-Animate fruit is very powerful and flexible both in combat and for resolving sticky situations - it can also be used for very mundane actions like making a particularly heavy lever pull itself.
* NightmareFace: His lower face is horrifically burned. These burns are third degree and he has no lips whatsoever. Most people who see his face are quite put off by it.
* NoSocialSkills: Is not really one for casual conversation and tends to keep to himself. He tends to leave the questioning to others unless he really needs something answered. Though if spoken too, he will try and be friendly depending on who’s taking to him.
* OfficialCouple: [[spoiler: With Lyssa at the epilogue, knowing to himself that of all the people that can teach him love, it would be her.]]
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: Tends to have a pun or thematic quip upon either beginning or [[BondOneLiner ending a fight.]]
* TheSmartGuy: Of the 4 Player Characters, Verona is the one most likely to come up with strategies, plans and thinking outside the box. He is also one of the more logical members of the crew and has a knack for gadgets.
** Though his Animate Animate Fruit can be used for combat, he has had a lot of success with using his fruit to help gather info such as performing reconnaissance, to tell him of past events that the objects have “seen” or to tell him what the objects do/what they are.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: Though on the side of good (despite his questionable morals), his conversational skills tend to be quite stiff.
* TheStoic: By far the most quiet of the crew and tends to keep to himself.
* TheUnfettered: Though he rarely feels joy in killing, he is more than willing to end a life. He is also very desensitized to violence and horror.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: You used to be a pretty happy kid who wanted grow up to become a marine like his parents. Then he lost everything.
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: Is not used to affection and romance is almost an alien concept for him.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He has both entomophobia and pyrophobia due to his traumas. He still remembers the flames that seared his body and the bugs that crawled all over him in the forest for months.

The shipwright and strongman of the crew, a huge barbaric-looking man who has headed out into the seas to find his captured wife and son - and also become the strongest man in the world, as a side objective.

His in-game class is Berserker Barbarian.

Within a ransacked village, Ragnar discovered the Bear-Bear Fruit Model: Grizzly, a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a huge grizzly bear or into a bear-human hybrid.

* AttackAttackAttack: His fighting style is to attack and attack until the target is down for the count.
* BarbarianHero: He explicitly calls himself and his people barbarians and he makes a point to try and help those less fortunate than him.
* BearsAreBadNews: Weaponized with his Devil Fruit, which enhanced his already prodigious strength to become a complete juggernaut fighter.
** BearyFriendly: To his allies, he is a good natured Bear who always has their back.
* BerserkButton: Have more than a few.
** Don’t EVER tell him to [[WalkingShirtlessScene put on a shirt.]]
** Cleo seems to draw his ire even more so than the rest of the crew. To the point of [[IrrationalHatred irrational hatred]] (or at least more irrational than the rest of the crew).
** In a more tragic sense, those who cheat to obtain their strength (especially strength enhancing drugs). [[spoiler:Which becomes more tragic once Ragnar becomes addicted to blue blood.]]
** And God help you if you harm or have harmed Hertha or Magnus.
* TheBerserker: His subclass is Path of the Berserker and he attacks with reckless abandon against his foes. To the point that after he’s done fighting, he’s much more tired.
* TheBigGuy: The biggest of the Devil's Luck pirates and the most proficient, alongside Duros, in direct melee combat.
* BloodKnight: Finds enjoyment in a good scrap or a chance to show his strength.
* BrutishCharacterBrutishWeapon: Ragnar favors big greataxes. His experiences as a lumberjack allows him to use these huge axes with great precision.
* BullyHunter: Hates those who use their power to abuse those weaker than them. He wants to become the strongest bear in order to protect those he cares about from being harmed or threatened by even the toughest. Whether they be pirate or Marine.

* ShipTease: Her and Cyril have been frequently teased together. Though Cyril’s feeling have been much more obvious, there have been some hints that the attraction is mutual.
** Unlike most of the crew, she has never chided him for his more merciful nature, even if it is not very pirate-like.
** William frequently sends the two off together on activities and she has yet to complain about it to him.
** Though she has joked about her cannibalistic tendencies with the crew in a self-deprecating manner, when people bring it up with Cyril around, she acts much more embarrassed about it.
** Is quick to gently calm Cyril down when he gets into a panic. Such as when they learned [[spoiler: Arzen was still alive or when Cyril was suffering from PTSD after Chronograd]].
** When on the chopping block after being beaten by Seraph, Pearl was still analyzing to herself why [[spoiler: Cyril ran off after she told him the truth about the loss of his arm]]. It could have possibly been one of the last things she was thinking about before she was narrowly rescued.
** Is more physically affectionate with Cyril than with anybody else on the crew, having hugged him multiple times and the two having held hands on several occasions.

* WaifFu: She is rather short but is quick with her martial art attacks and defeats many foes bigger than her throughout the campaign.
* WarriorPrincess: Her father had her taught how to fight all her life and has fought alongside the crew in nearly every big battle they’ve had. She used her skills to [[RebelliousPrincess liberate her people from her father’s tyranny]].

In reality, Gravy is not just any regular man - but indeed, one of the Eight Flames, a member of a cult of elite assasins for hire with their own familiar animals, though Gravy long forsaked that life and does not wish to go back to his assasin days.

* ActualPacifist: Swore to never hurt a human ever again and [[ThouShaltNotKill refuses to take a life]]. [[TechnicalPacifist Though robots are fair game]].
* {{Acrofatic}}: Though [[ChubbyChef quite rotund]], he was a former assassin and he still has his quick reflexes.
* AlmightyJanitor: Is the crew’s chef and usually stays out of adventuring and fighting. But he knows how to defend himself and is a very wise person.
* AnimalMotif: Pigs and Boars. He has a pet boar named Boris and once was known as “The Boar”.
* TheBeastmaster: Like all Eight Flames, he has an animal companion. His is Boris, a boar who has eaten a gravy logia. Unlike the other animal companions, Boris was not experimented on in any way, merely given a devil fruit.
* BigEater: Not only does he love cooking food, he loves to eat a lot of food too.
* BullyMagnet: He was bullied a lot when he was younger. He began cooking to get rid of all the negativity in his life.
* DoesntLikeGuns: Is not a fan of using weapons due to his non-violent life. Even when he was known as The Boar, he was not known to use any firearms.
* HeelFaceTurn: Was a violent assassin once, but has since changed his ways and prefers a gentle life.
* HumbleHero: Is quite a powerful fighter in his own right, but prefers to just support his crew with his cooking.
* IHatePastMe: Looks back at his assassin days with great shame. He also doesn’t like how the other Flames are either nervous and/or in awe of The Boar and his skills.
* MellowFellow: Is very relaxed and it’s hard to make him feel any sort of panic. He even greeted the crew warmly despite them just killing the marines he was working under.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Though Gravy regrets most of his actions as The Boar, he especially regrets assassinating his final mark Pellet. It was traumatizing enough to make him forsake the assassin life.
* NiceGuy: Is a jolly [[AllLovingHero All Loving Hero]] who just wants to make people smile with his cooking. He is polite to almost everyone he meets, does not criticize anyone at all and just wants the crew to be happy. He also made it his mission in life to make sure nobody around him has an empty stomach if he can help it.
* NonActionGuy: He can fight if he chose to, but would rather just stay on the ship and cook for the crew once they return from whatever shenanigans they were up to.
* OutOfCharacterIsSeriousBusiness: When The Eight Flames or any other part of his past is brought up, he becomes very quiet and nervous.
** When the crew confronted a man who was cooking humans to sell for consumption, Gravy sternly spoke of how cooking people is an insult to the art of cooking. Notably Pearl was in the same room at the time but he still chose to say how wrong cannibalism is even if it would make her feel bad about herself.
* OlderAndWiser: Is around a decade older than Ragnar and is very down to earth and insightful of the world around him.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: When the crew first met Gravy, he seemed like a friendly (if a bit too relaxed) cook. Turns out, they were talking to one of the former strongest assassins in the Seas.
* SupremeChef: Is widely known by everyone who knows him as one of the best chefs around. He even was able to figure out Durosian cuisine with minimal effort. His meals puts anyone in a better mood.
* TheSymbiote: When ready for action, Boris goes into his gravy form and covers Gravy as if he was a second layer of skin. The two then fight in unison with both their power combined.

A skillful fencer, a lover of wine and baguette, and unapologetic simp, he's often subject to terrible luck, and French music of some type tends to play around him to signal his current mood.

He has an unnamed Paramecia Devil Fruit that allows him to control time in specific localized spots, giving him the ability to reverse wounds - though not death itself.

* ButtMonkey: If a joke is is going to be at the expense of one of the Devil’s Luck [=NPCs=], it’s usually going to be Louis at the butt of the joke. His initial bounty was also only a mere 20 Berries.
* CampStraight: Has some flamboyant mannerisms but is very much attracted to women. Sadly women aren’t too attracted to him.
* CheeseEatingSurrenderMonkeys: Though no DirtyCoward, he would rather not risk his life needlessly and tends to worry quite a lot about his personal safety when out adventuring or fighting.
* CombatMedic: Though no doctor, his devil fruit being able to rewind recent wounds make him the ideal medic in the crew during combat. Especially since he rewinds all damage taken that round. He can also fight if need be with his…
* CoolSword: The Bonaparte. A unique rapier with small guns on its hilt to inflict extra damage with. It was taken from the body of the [[spoiler: Future Louis from an alternate future.]] It used to be known as the Napoleon but was renamed so as not to confuse the sword with Big Mom’s sword.
* CowardlyLion: Louis is more reluctant to get himself into danger than most of the other crewmates, but he will never surrender if his crew’s lives are on the line and has [[UndyingLoyalty dedicated his life to the Devil’s Luck Pirates]]. He also [[spoiler: fought against Soldi (a Yonko Commander)]] even when he had no chance of winning.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: He subconsciously jumped decades into the future to escape his brother [[CainAndAbel Arrbor]]. And as seen by his [[spoiler: future self and other Louis’s]], this is a powerful ability from his Devil Fruit.
* HealerSignsOnEarly: First shows up in Episode 9 and his rewinding abilities have saved the lives of his friends multiple times.
* LeftTheBackgroundMusicOn: Provides a lot of background music as the Musician of the crew. Though sometimes French music plays without him even playing music somehow.
* MauriceChevalierAccent: He has ze stereotypical French accent - though since France doesn't exist in the One Piece world, he claims that his accent is the result of a 'genetical speech impairment'.
* OnlyOneFindsItFun: The only crew mate who truly finds joy in the art of miming. The rest of the crew (minus [[NiceGuy Gravy]]) cannot stand it.
* SacrificialLion: [[spoiler: He was one of the most important NPC crewmates on board and his abilities saved the crew on multiple occasions. He had also been in the series for over 50 episodes. * TimeMaster: Has an unnamed time-based fruit that allows for a degree of time manipulation. Though it is tiring to do repeatingly to too far back.
** TimeRewindMechanic: Though he has an easier time reversing objects, he can revert someone or something back to the state it was before (the more recent the easier it is). This can heal wounds, revert objects to the sum of their parts, can put liquids back into their container (even if drunk) and can even send away creatures summoned by foes.
* YoungerThanHeLooks: His naturally white hair and thick moustache makes him look like a middle-aged man at the best of times, but he's actually in his 20's.
* WeakButSkilled: He has arguably one of the most potentially broken Devil Fruits in One Piece, but his physical abilities leave something to be desired compared to most foes the Devil’s Luck Pirates faced. Though he is no complete pushover and is integral support to the crew during the fights he participates in.

Florence is a Marine Seamen Recruit the Devil’s Luck Pirates captured after a clash with the Marines on the first island they visited on the Grand Line. He was forcefully made to tag along with the crew as they went off to fight The Timber Lord. But through Gravy he found inner peace.

Though not a strong person in any sense, Florence has a talent for building small machines and handy gadgets.

* BaldMystic: Upon reaching an inner peace of sorts with Gravy during the Timber Lord Saga, he shaved his head and chooses to go around shirtless. He also became much more calm and serene upon his change in look.
* BringMyBrownPants: He was prone to pissing his pants.
--> "You know how a human body is like 70% water? I think mine's gone right down to 60%."
* ButtMonkey: He is taken by the crew against his will, is ignored by Trevor (his one chance at being rescued), constantly pisses himself. Then soon after he gains some resolve, [[spoiler: he dies. At least he died content.]]
* TheDragAlong: Brought along with the crew on a whim and mostly just stayed on the ship. Though he later proves to be of some worth by creating some mechanical trinkets for Verona.
* ForgottenFallenFriend: [[spoiler: After his death and funeral, the crew sort of more or less forgot about him. His death by Cleo’s hand was used more as an excuse to kill her rather than actually anything truly all that personal.]]
* GadgeteerGenius: Was smart enough to make small robots and trinkets, such as a mechanical bird.
* SacrificialLamb: [[spoiler: His death is abrupt, offscreen and leaves little impact to the crew.]]

Luckily he managed to eat a very powerful Logia and through chaotic circumstances, he ended up defecting from the Marines and joined the Devil’s Luck Pirates.

Cyril ate the Water Water Fruit ([[ChekhovsGun coincidentally the Devil Fruit Boss stole from Tarako]]), which allows him to control and become water. With this fruit he intends to do his best to make the world a better place.

* AnArmAndALeg: His left arm was torn off by his superior Vice Admiral Arzen for something he had no control over.
* BerserkButton: Though a gentle and kind soul otherwise, there are actions that will seriously tick him off.
** Needlessly killing people, especially those at the DLP’s mercy will cause him to call out the killer quite harshly.
** Being abused by his superior himself, he considers [[BadBoss those who abuse and kill their own underlings]] to be unforgivable.
** Trying to kill Pearl will get him to attack whoever tries, no matter who they are.
* BlueIsHeroic: Is heavily associated with the color blue and is one of the most unambiguously heroic characters in the campaign. It’s also the [[WaterISBlue color of water fittingly]].
* BreakTheCutie: His arm was torn right off, he abandoned his past life and he has seen enough horror and death to give him PTSD.
* BullyMagnet: Some of the other marines used to bully him and give him no respect. But even then, Cyril still had those he cared about at G-4 according to him. One of the reasons he decided to kill Arzen because was worried that they would be less safe with Arzen alive.
* CannotSpitItOut: He has trouble expressing his true feelings to Pearl. The fact that he finds fighting a [[spoiler: Yonko]] less scary than confessing how he feels to her speaks volumes.
* CowardlyLion: Is openly terrified of the obstacles the crew faces but knows that some evil needs to be taken down by force. He also still fights even when he knows how much weaker he is than the enemy.
* ElmuhFuddSyndwome: He has rhotacism and lambdacism, so he frequently uses W’s instead of R’s and L’s. He seems to have more issues with R sounds than L’s, usually being more accurate with L’s unless stressed.
* ForGreatJustice: He seeks to make the world a better place and get rid of any corruption he can. Abandoning his navy life to become a pirate did not change that dream at all. In fact, it gives him more freedom to do what he strives for.
* HandicappedBadass: Got his entire left arm torn off less than a year ago, is on zero painkillers and still chooses to fight alongside his friends.
* HazyFeelTurn: He left the marines for the pirate life. His morals have not changed all that much.

* MoralityPet: A lot of Cyril’s crewmates try to take his feelings into account when doing regular pirate things. This has led to them frequently trying more non-violent solutions when dealing with problems. To mixed results.
* NiceGuy: Is a very compassionate young man who seeks to make the world a better place. He tries to see the best in most people and is always polite to others. And though he sometimes gets upset with the crew, he never gets spiteful about disagreeing with them on certain things. Anybody who truly knows him never really has anything bad to say about him.
** Though his good hearted nature is deconstructed a bit. Because of his gentle nature, he is frequently pushed around by people since he lives in a world where might makes right. His trusting nature also makes him look over other people’s flaws, resulting in him being quite naive in some situations.

Whether that is because the puppet copies Jester makes lacks the weakness of Devil Fruit users or the Water Water Fruit somehow lacks the standard Devil Fruit weakness to water remains to be seen.]]
* PlaguedByNightmares: He has been having nightmares about the things he has seen in Chronograd. His memory of his mutilation at Arzen’s hands is also still fresh in his mind.

* ProngsOfPoseidon: Wields a trident that originally belonged to Helios. It is of Durosian origin and is of an unknown metal. Lyssa later modified it to be retractable in order for him to be able to carry it easier.
* RedemptionPromotion: Was a low ranking and mistreated marine who was only promoted to Warrant Officer because of his newly acquired Devil Fruit. But now Cyril is an integral part of the Devil’s Luck pirates and is now more confident than ever before.
* ShipTease: Has had a crush on Pearl for the longest time and it is quite obvious to most people. The two are quite close and even in a non-romantic way are very important to one another. [[spoiler: The two eventually [[OfficialCouple get together]] by the Epilogue]].
* SignificantWardrobeShift: [[spoiler: After defeating his puppet self in the episode 56 end story, Cyril took off his marine uniform and tossed it into the sea. He also now keeps his hair in a ponytail.]]
* TheDogBitesBack: Shot an Aqua Pump straight through Arzen’s heart. Arzen tore off Cyril’s arm for the pettiest of reasons only hours before so Arzen’s demise was quite cathartic.
* ThouShallNotKill: Cyril values life and would rather not kill people. Though he understands that sometimes killing is the only way even if he doesn’t like it. The only people he felt zero remorse for trying to kill was Arzen (for his abuse), Clay (for killing his own men) and Blueblood (who just uses his great power solely to hurt others).

He is not ever willingly going to be a [[PersonOfMassDestruction Person of Mass Destruction]] even if his fruit has the potential to sink entire islands. A more vicious/psychotic user of the Mizu Mizu no Mi could easily kill countless people with the ocean alone.

* BraveScot: Has a Scottish accent and though not much of a fighter, still does all she can to help the crew. Even if it requires her to enter enemy territory with them.
* CharacterCatchphrase: “If You Can Change Your Fate, Would You?” Just like in [[WesternAnimation/{{Brave}} Brave]].
** SubvertedCatchphrase: Prone to messing around with her catchphrase, especially if it’s to say she wouldn’t (if content) or definitely would (if in danger).

* DamselInDistress: Is captured by [[spoiler: Big Top and used as a bargaining chip to get the DLP to keep the status quo of The Oasis. The crew save her instead]].
* TheEngineer: Makes the majority of the crew’s stuff. From hot air balloons to bombs to even robots. As long as she has materials, she can probably make something useful to the situation at hand.

** GadgeteerGenius: Knows all about various technological doo-dads and the tech she is new too she is quick to figure out.
** HomemadeInventions: With a dose of [[MacGyvering MacGyvering]]. She usually has no access to a true lab and a budget of nil, but what she can make in the time she is given usually works well enough for the situation at hand.
** MagicPotion: Not “Magic” per se, but she has created a substance capable of healing wounds that she simply calls potions.
** [[MrFixit Ms. Fixit]]: Is in charge of fixing anything broken the crew finds. And as long as she has time and materials, she’ll likely succeed.
** WrenchWench: Wouldn’t take being called a “wench” very well but she is a bright young woman who is an ace at mechanics and is confident in her works. She can even make a rocket that leaves orbit in roughly less than a month.
* HandCannon: When needing to defend herself, she wields a pistol with a variety of bullets, such as burning bullets or bullets that stun.
* LoveConfession: She admits to Verona [[spoiler: in episode 60 that she loves him. Though Verona ends up not hearing it since he loses consciousness after taking two punches from a Yonko]].
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Has a retractable shield that she occasionally uses.
* MoralityPet: To Verona. After meeting her, Verona has begun to make efforts to be more approachable to others and he always welcoming of her presence.
* NiceGirl: Her best friend on Planet Duros is a Sterran named Happy. Keep in mind Sterrans [[FantasticRacism were seen as inferior beings]]. She saw him as an equal. She’s also very approachable, welcoming and understanding of others’ issues. She also looks at who people are on the inside, even when their outward appearances are scary/ugly. The only times she wouldn’t approach someone is when she is nervous to approach them or they are outwardly malicious.
* OfficialCouple: [[spoiler: With Verona by the epilogue. They are still together 10 years after the campaign and run a shop together]].
* PluckyGirl: Is an upbeat girl who refuses to give into fear and overwhelming odds.
* RaisedByGrandparents: Was raised by her grandfather Aurelius after her parents were executed. She seemed to have learned a lot of her engineering skills from him.
* ShipTease: Quickly develops an attraction to Verona upon meeting him and makes an effort to get to know him. She also does not mind his scarring and is sympathetic to his dark past. She tries to interact and hang out with Verona every chance she has.
* SignificantGreenEyedRedhead: She is the first red haired woman seen in the campaign and she possesses bright green eyes.
* SupportPartyMember: Not much of a fighter compared to the rest of the cast but her technological prowess is invaluable on the crew. If necessary, she has a gun that can shoot out special bullets though.
* [[YouKilledMyFather You Killed My Parents]]: Both of her parents were executed by Emperor Dominius. It was initially going to be just her being killed but her parents volunteered in her stead. Because of her loss, she was more than willing to fight alongside the crew to take him down.

Heali is a machine that was created by Lyssa from one of V’s robots. As his name implies, he has syringes that can heal people. He is also named after the late Helios.

* ArtificialIntelligence: Heali has been demonstrated to be able to think for himself and the crew likewise mostly treats him as a person. He is even referred to and refers to himself in masculine pronouns.
* CherryTapping: [[spoiler: Did a small punch that did 1 point of damage to Memory Arzen. He exploded.]]
* CuteMachines: Is a small compact robot that can be carried around like a backpack.
* DodgyToupee: Has a wig that was made to appear very similarly to Helios’s hair. It’s pretty obvious that it’s a wig.
* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: Though mostly a robot made to assist the crew, Heali has displayed a sense of individuality and personality unlike most of V’s machines.
* JustAMachine: [[PlayingWithATrope Played with]]. He is treated like a crewmate and the crew (especially Ragnar) try to keep him “alive”. But Pearl has stated that since he is a machine that can be rebuilt, she wouldn’t go into a draconic frenzy if he gets destroyed.
* TheMedic: Is able to restore the crew’s hit points with a special healing serum. Usually for [[ArcNumber 14 HP]].
* ReplacementGoldfish: To Helios. After Helios’s untimely death, the crew filled the void in their hearts with Heali. His name is very similar and his wig is meant to imitate Helios’s hair.
* RoboSpeak: Speaks in a stereotypically robotic monotone voice.
* RobotBuddy: A robot who assists the crew in any way he can.
* RoboRomance: Fell in love with another robot named Hurtie. Though Hurtie never really acknowledged Heali’s existence and William imagined that any relationship between the two would have ended up becoming toxic. Though since both robots identify as male, his love for Hurtie does confirm Heali to be not straight.
* SatelliteCharacter: Though he has his own quirks and a mind of his own, Heali tends to stick around Lyssa and can be seen as an extension of her abilities and technological prowess.
* ShipperOnDeck: Is supportive of Lyssa’s crush on Verona in his own way, even asking him if he thought she was attractive (to her annoyance).
* SiliconSnarker: Heali is very passive aggressive to Ragnar, especially since he is usually the one Heali has to heal. He also shows quite the dislike of Trevor as well (though Trevor was rude to him first).
* SuperMode: He supposedly has a kill mode programmed in case Verona gets seriously injured or killed. Sadly we never got to see it.
* TokenRobot: A sentient robot is rare in the One Piece world. A robot pirate is even rarer.
* WeCanRebuildHim: Helios V1 was destroyed in by [[spoiler: Arzen]]. Lyssa rebuilt him as Helios V2 afterwards.

A master thief born with the name Jason Locksworth, he raised an infant William as his own child after killing his parents in a panic. Raising William to be a thief like him, they eventually separated after a heist. Eventually, Trevor (William’s older brother) captured Boss and while in G-4 was experimented on by Vice Admiral Arzen.

Though in no condition to fight, he has taught the Player Characters about Haki and Rokushiki. Other than that, he usually needs to be kept away from combat. The Devil’s Luck pirates are searching for a way to fix him back before he was mutilated.

* ArtificialAnimalPeople: Arzen crudely grafted several animal parts onto this body. At least a few of these animal body parts came from Fishmen or Minks.
** ArtificialGill: He was given gills on his neck. Whether these would actually help him breathe underwater or just cosmetic is unknown. If the former, Arzen must have done serious work on his respiratory system.
** PantheraAwesome: His hands were replaced with tiger-like limbs. Possibly from an unfortunate member of the Mink Tribe.
** RhinoRampage: Has a rhino horn surgically attached to his forehead as well.
** WingedHumanoid: He got two large bird wings grafted onto his back. One black and the other white. He can fly with them somewhat but it is extremely painful and tiring to do so.
* BodyHorror: Vice Admiral Arzen altered his body in ways man was never supposed to. Even his organs are failing him and his body is beginning to fall apart. It has been stated that if it wasn’t for Boss being a naturally tough guy, he would be long dead by now.
* DeadpanSnarker: Has a pretty dry sense of humor. He’s even able to be somewhat witty while in utter agony.
* FriendsWithBenefits: Gets into this kind of relationship Oasis Casino Don Roulette. She’s attracted to his animal parts. [[spoiler: Though after his grafts are reversed, Boss comments that Roulette probably won’t be all that interested in him anymore.]]
* GentlemanThief: More lower class than most examples, but Boss is a thief with a sense of fair play who steals for both thrills and to put snobs in their place. He even has a calling card.
* MyGreatestFailure: Killing William and Trevor’s parents in a panic was the biggest mistake of his life and he understands fully why Trevor despises him. This leads him to try becoming [[TheAtoner an atoner of sorts]], trying to turn over a new leaf and seeking to try and make up for the less savory actions from hos past.
* TheNameless: Most people do not know his name, just calling him Boss. Even William did not know his true name until recently. His real name is Jason Locksworth (the named Trevor discovered early in the campaign).
** IHaveManyNames: Has used many aliases and identities throughout his life while doing heists.
* OldMaster: Is roughly around 50 or so and teaches the PCs the basics of Rokushiki and Haki. He also has taught William almost everything he knows.
* ParentalSubstitute: He raised William as if he was his own child after killing his parents in a panic. It’s wasn’t the best life, but the two would be lying if they said they didn’t care for one another.
* ScoundrelCode: Despite being a thief, he tries to keep a sense of honor.
** He makes a point to only steal from those who are not needy.
** He leaves a calling card for his targets to find.
** He tries to refrain from killing during heists. Though maiming is fair game (such as when he shot a priest’s kneecaps).
* SupernaturalMartialArts: He has both knowledge of Rokushiki and Haki. Though he mostly just knows the basics of both.
* ThrowingOffTheDisability: [[spoiler: The Fourth Brother used his time powers to restore Boss back to the condition he was 8 or so months ago. Boss is now back with his normal body parts and no longer in massive pain.]]

Full name Rick D. Astley. He was the original captain of the player characters’ pirate crew, Rick was a super powerful pirate who brought the whole crew together. Tragically, he ended up dying due to the freak storm at the beginning of the campaign. The crew buried him before setting off on their adventure with Pearl.

In truth, they accidentally buried him alive. But Rick got a second chance due to Seraph’s Angel Angel Fruit in episode 57 after killing Chip in Limbo. And he is far from happy to see the crew again (especially since he hardly recognizes it anymore).

* BackFromTheDead: Because Chip’s experimental wave machine was responsible for Rick’s death, Chip is sent to fight Rick in Limbo by Seraph’s abilities. Rick took the opportunity to kill the Mink and return from the dead. It’s noticeable that time barely passed for him since his death despite it being many months since dying.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: He’s this to the Devil’s Luck Pirates Player Characters. He was essentially their leader and they all looked up to him. But he only was in the pirate life for money.
** The crew in less than a year without him accomplished their goals such as a finding Ragnar’s family, liberating Tarako Kingdom and getting revenge for Viridian’s death. Under Rick, the crew did none of that, making it appear as if Rick cared for none of their goals.
* BrokenPedestal: The crew used to consider him amazing, super powerful and a reliable friend. Once he returns from the dead, he is just a greedy, whiny jerk who shows little respect for any of them. The PCs are also now each individually much stronger than he is. It turns out someone who seems all powerful at level 1 is actually not all that impressive at level 14.
* BuriedAlive: He tells the Players that they buried him alive, thinking he was dead. He is notably pissed about it.
* CombatPragmatist: Rather than battle against Chip to leave limbo, he offers him poisoned tea to calm him down. Once Chip is weakened, he shoots him dead.
* DirtyCoward: When the odds seem against the crew during the Blueblood battle, Rick flees to save his own skin. Though Blueblood was a terrifying foe, it’s kind of pathetic when his puppet self did more to help the crew than he did that fight. William punches him for his cowardice soon after Blueblood dies.
** This trope can also apply to his reign as captain/quartermaster before the campaign began. He surrounded himself with weak crewmates he could manipulate and push around without effort. Also despite his intelligence and powerful inventions, he chose to only stay in the South Blue where very few could fight back against him.
* FamedInStory: By the way the Players Characters talked of him, they made him sound like a god among men. The crew even believed that him pointing at someone and saying “die” instantly killed anyone. The truth is…less than stellar.

* NeverMyFault: When William calls him out for leaving the others to die to save his own skin, Rick only claims William now knows how it feels to be abandoned.

* PosthumousCharacter: Is occasionally mentioned in passing by the Players, with them being sad that he died during the shipwreck. He gets better.

* DentedIron: He’s banged up from the shipwreck but he’s still a great shot with the gun.
* DoNotGoGentle: Duros might have critically hit him with his fist, but Lawrence went down critically hitting Duros with his gun.
* AFatherToHisMen: He is quite angered when fellow Marine Lil Jenkins is knocked out by William.
* JustFollowingOrders: His mission is to capture Pearl, regardless of why.
* NervesOfSteel: A pirate clad in heavy armor coming at him does not prevent him from making a clean shot.
* StarterVillain: Villain in a very loose sense, but he and Lil Jenkins are the very first people the Players skirmish with.
* UncertainDoom: Him and Lil Jenkins are knocked unconscious and left on the island. It’s not known whether they were ever found and rescued.

* GoodParents: Dearly loves his son Samillion and would not care at all if he gave away his beloved treasure map to the Angler Pirates for his freedom.
* NiceGuy: Treats his son well and is true to his word to the Player Characters. The only thing that could be seen as wrong with him is his lack of criticism of Gallow’s Island’s [[DisproportionateRetribution harsh sentences]], though that could just be because he grew up on the island and doesn’t know better.
* TreasureMap: Has one that supposedly leads to a Devil Fruit. With the help of the map, the crew finds the [[BearsAreBadNews Bear Bear Fruit, Model: Grizzly Bear]].

The captain of the Angler Pirates. He and his crew kidnapped Samillion in order to interrogate him about the whereabouts of a treasure map. He and his crew hide in the basement of the mayor of Gallows Island.

* AffablyEvil: Is quite polite when talking to Duros (who he thinks is a guard), lightly chiding him for not guarding the door. He also is willing to kill and torture with zero remorse.
* BenevolentBoss: Seems to actually value the lives of his subordinates and is shocked when they are killed.
* ColdBloodedTorture: Hs kept Samillion hostage with a lure in his mouth and will not let him go until he gets the map he wants. He claims that he intended to return him home once he got the info though.
* InsaneTrollLogic: Thinks that wearing three fishing hats signifies that you are a pirate captain. He also seems to think that having a big hat means you are a captain.
* LowerClassLout: Has a bit of a stereotypical cockney accent and though somewhat charming, is still a vicious pirate.
* MeaningfulName: Rodney Poledark. Fitting name for a fisherman.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Though he is the first true antagonist of the campaign, he still manages to be pretty slippery, able to dodge many attacks. He even is able to knock out William before going down.
* PoisonedWeapons: He has a poisoned dagger to put people to sleep. William endures the poison and stays up.
* RodAndReelRepurposed: His main weapon is his fishing rod with a big hook.
* StarterVillain: The first major fight in the campaign is against him.
* TattooedCrook: Has a load of nautical-based tattoos on his body.
* VerbalTic: Says “Oi Mate” a lot. It’s even his final words.
* WouldHurtAChild: Was torturing Samillion (who is 16-17) for information on the map’s whereabouts.

* EveryoneHasStandards: Though overall supportive of his two sons, even he admits what Marrow did to Viridian and the child Verona was “fucked up”.
* ForegoneConclusion: Cranstin was a dead man the moment the crew entered his home. 2Spooky said that if William had not killed Cranstin, Verona would have to [[RevengeByProxy get back at Captain Marrow]].
* GoMadFromTheIsolation: Has been on this small island all by himself for many, many years. He even says that if it weren’t for his son’s letters, he would have killed himself long ago.

** The first one is when his explosion caused Pearl to transform into an uncontrollable dragon. He ran for the hills first chance he got.
** The second one was when the Devil’s Luck Pirates find him in a Krendor bar, knowing they would want to pay him back for causing Pearl to go full dragon and leaving the rest for dead. Luckily, they just let him off with four punches (Ragnar punched twice), a tiny slap (Gravy didn’t want to hit him), a kick (Pearl did a flying kick) and a a punch anytime in the future.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: He’s in desperate need of money and the best way to get it without compromising his ethics is hunting bounties. He could get into the slave trade and make a killing, but he finds the practice abhorrent.
* MemorialStatue: King Jasper erected a statue in Atom’s honor for helping liberate Tarako at the cost of his life.
* NothingButSkinAndBones: His lack of personal funds and giving most of the berries he earns to the hospital means that he doesn’t eat all that much, leading to him being very skinny underneath his coat.
* PerpetualPoverty: When William and Verona sneak onto Atom’s boat, they find barely anything inside and with so little money, they choose not to rob him out of pity. They do still piss in his bed though as payback.
* SacrificialLion: Is the first ally killed in the campaign and his death is remembered by the players even years after. Verona even names his explosive bullets after him. #YEEHAW.
* SmokingIsCool: He is a smoker and is a cool and laid back man most of the time.

* SmugSnake: He acts like he’s the best thing since sliced bread. Boy was he wrong.

* GayBestFriend: Is canonically gay and is one of Duros’s dearest friends. Though Duros was his royal bodyguard serving under him, that makes no difference to their deep bond Jasper and Duros have. Jasper is just as relieved to see Duros still alive as he is to see his younger sister.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Is fiercely protective of his dear younger sister. In fact, Malachite’s abuse of Pearl was one of the primary reasons he attempted his failed coup. Every day in prison, he cried not knowing if she was alright.
** [[spoiler: According to Duro’s manifested flashback, when he was escaping from his father’s forces with Duros and the other knights under him his first thought was to find and rescue his baby sister.]]

With such smithing skills, he could have easily become one of the greatest blacksmiths in the South Blue.
* TheWisePrince: Is better and wiser than his father Malachite in every way that mattered. If Tarako was ruled by him earlier, the kingdom would be much more prosperous.
** TheGoodKing: When William sees through Jasper’s eyes in episode 29, he and Molly are walking through a flourishing and much happier Tarako Kingdom as the new King of the nation.

The King of the Tarako Kingdom. A cruel and greedy man, he is a big part of the slave trade in the South Blue. He locked up his own son Jasper for trying to end his rule and put a bounty on his daughter Pearl, who he sees as a weapon to increase his power.

* AbusiveParent: Saw his daughter as a secret weapon to use against his enemies. He fed her a devil fruit as an infant, made her eat human flesh and overall treated her inhumanely. When his brother Jasper found out about this, it was the final straw and he incited a rebellion.
** He was no better to his own son. He kept Jasper in prison for years after his failed rebellion.
* AristocratsAreEvil: Was king of the Tarako Kingdom and in his reign created a slave trade, made deals with pirates for more slaves and bribed the Marines to look the other way.
* DirtyCoward: When the crew finds him, he’s hiding behind his throne. When Ragnar interrogates him on his family’s whereabouts, he begs him not to kill him after telling him that he sold his wife and child.
* {{Greed}}: He turned his reign as king into a money making scheme.
* HateSink: This guy got zero votes on the official popularity poll. It’s easy to see why.
* KarmicDeath: He is killed by Pearl, the daughter he tried turning into his secret weapon.

* FearlessFool: Seems to not care when his life's at risk. [[spoiler: When his memory self is being petrified by Hemlock, all he does is cheer]]
* GoOutWithASmile: Despite not having the Will of D., he dies with a smile on his face with faith that his newborn son will succeed him as a great pirate.
* {{Jobber}}: Didn’t really contribute much in his fights and was defeated quickly when fought. [[spoiler: Both times]].
* MotorMouth: He talks quickly enough it’s a bit hard to understand him when he gets excited.

* RapidFireFisticuffs: He can throw a bunch of punches in quick succession. Up to four attacks once he really gets going.
* SuperSpeed: He’s pretty damn fast and can dash all around the area with the help of his Devil Fruit.

! Volt
A Commander of the Steam Punk Pirates, Volt guards the crew’s base in Krendor that the Players invade to get info on the whereabouts of Ragnar’s family.

* ArtificialLimb: Has a large robotic arm that the crew took with them after killing him. The crew takes his arm as a souvenir after Ragnar kills him.
** ShockAndAwe: His metal arm can emit electricity for some powerful lightning punches. Though the lightning also hurts himself.
* TheBrute: Was muscle for the Steam Punk Pirates and was in charge of guarding their hideout in Krendor. He was also strong enough to knock out Ragnar in Bear form.
* WarmUpBoss: The battle against him showed how powerful having two Player Characters with a Devil Fruit really was. It was also the first battle the Roulette Roulette Fruit was used in.

! Fredrickson
A member of the Steam Punk pirates who was one of the only survivors of a bloody battle against Marines (alongside Tako). He pretends to be a slave in order to be rescued.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: Pretended to be a slave on a sinking ship but is actually a Steam Punk Pirate who survived a confrontation with the Marines.
* {{Mook}}: Didn’t seem all that tough and probably wasn’t on the level of Volt or Piper.
* NeckSnap: Tako snaps his neck with one of Yaki’s tentacles, killing him near instantly. His body is later eaten by [[ImAHumanitarian Pearl]].
* SmarterThanYouLook: Despite being a bloodthirsty, slaving pirate of near zero importance, he still fooled the DLP into believing he was a slave. It took Tako telling them the truth that they realized they were fooled.

! Piper
Another commander working under Eustace Valve, she fights the Devil’s Luck Pirates in Tarako once they begin killing members of her crew.

* OnlySaneWoman: Compared to the other Steam Punk Pirates, she seems a bit more level headed and rational. Only by a bit though.
* PipePain: [[MeaningfulName As her name suggests]], she dual wields two pipes to clobber her foes with.
* UndyingLoyalty: Chooses to die rather than give away where her captain is.
* WoundedGazelleGambit: Claims that Eustace took her as a child to force her to become a pirate. Everyone knew it was a lie and she didn’t even really expect them to buy it.

! The L’Arbor Saga
Characters introduced in the campaign from episodes 9 to 14 by order of appearance.

* AcrophobicBird: Sharks are aquatic creatures. [[SuperDrowningSkills Devil Fruit users cannot swim]]. Though he still can chomp on his enemies.
* TheBrute: He is muscle working under Commodore Trevor and follows his orders out of both duty and fear.
* BloodKnight: Once engaged in a fight, he is a vicious and violent fighter.
* TheBully: Delights on hurting those weaker than himself while at the same time fearing those who are stronger than him (such as Trevor).
* FauxAffablyEvil: Allows the crew to see their new bounties before he gets ready to kill them with pleasure.
* GagNose: Not Usopp long, but his nose is noticeably long and sharp.
* ManBitesMan: His main attack is biting down on his enemies with his sharp teeth.
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Immediately sees through William and Ragnar’s disguises and the moment a fight starts, he plans to go straight for the kill.
* PunchClockVillain: Though already quite cruel, he initially just wanted to simply find Jason Locksworth for Trevor rather than confront the Devil’s Luck Pirates. Though Bait ignoring them then bluntly refusing when the crew asked for a log pose insulted the DLP enough that a fight occurred anyways.
* SkewedPriorities: Rather than confront the Devil’s Luck Pirates, investigate what deforested the island or search for where all the civilians went, Commander Bait is searching for only one Jason Locksworth. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] since he is under orders from Trevor and Trevor is not a man to be disobeyed.
* ThreateningShark: He ate a shark Zoan and is very violent when provoked.

A random Marine who through the stress of battle awakened his Haki. Sadly, [[KilledOffForReal he never achieves his full potential]].

* CowardlyLion: Is at first nervous of fighting. But once in a corner, turns out to be stronger willed than anybody imagined.
* NoNameGiven: Only known as Alpha Marine out of universe. His true name is never given.
* TookALevelInBadass: A simple seaman suddenly gains Haki out of nowhere.
* BulletCatch: Catches Verona’s bullet, much to everyone’s shock.
* TooPowerfulToLive: His sudden surge of Haki would have made him a dangerous foe in the future. So Duros had to kill him before he could master his newfound Haki.
* WeWillMeetAgain: Orders a tactical retreat planning to kill the crew next time they meet. Duros doesn’t give him the opportunity and kills him. The rest of the Marines except for Florence manage to escape though.

* BadassNormal: Has no Devil Fruit of his own, but is a master swordsman with a mastery of both Observation and Armament Haki.
* BigBrotherInstinct: despite his denials, he is very protective of his younger brother William. He even did his damndest to try and free William from a mound of zombie corpses at the risk of his own life.
* CoolSword: Trevor as a Commodore wielded the Sword of Justice, an O Wazamono sword. He loses it to William, who combined it with another blade to form The Ace of Spades.
** He later gets a replacement longsword in Staringrad covered in runes.

* HumiliationConga: After coming across as an invincible juggernaut since his introduction, the final part of the G-4 Arc is just one horrible event after another for him: to start, the Devil's Luck Pirates evade from jail right in front of him thanks to a lucky Roulette-Roulette roll from William, he's then mind-controlled by William through ''another'' lucky Devil Fruit roll, and is forced to fight the equally-matched Vice-Admiral Arzen, which very nearly kills him - when he finally snaps back to his senses and attempts to capture William, the latter blinds him with salt, ''steals his sword'', and Cyril - a common Marine who only recently obtained his Devil Fruit - chokes him with water till he passes out. Easy to say, it was '''not''' a good day for Trevor.

* EcoTerrorist: They terrorize Islands with their wood minions. Though it is subverted a bit as in they do not do what they do for the sake of nature, but in order to get more wood for their agenda.
* HungryJungle: Their home island is a jungle full of dangerous wildlife such as giant snakes.
* {{Privateer}}: Since Arrbor is a Warlord, the Marines do little if anything about him.
* SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Most of the labor on this island seemed to be built by slaves. Some slaves are even [[ReforgedIntoAMinion forced to become unwilling minions as wood people]].
* WhenTreesAttack: The Timber Lord has a force of wooden minions created mostly from lumber. Inside are slaves that are completely unaware of their surroundings.

* AlasPoorVillain: At least his brother Louis thinks so. His final moments are looking up exhausted as he watches [[spoiler: Louis put him out of his misery]].
* ArcVillain: The main antagonist of The L’Arbor Saga.
* TheAtoner: In a twisted way. Feeling responsible for his brother’s presumed death, Arrbor began to build a colossal wooden effigy to be sacrificed as a way to atone to his god. Being that this effigy is filled with slaves, this just makes him look both worse and utterly insane.
* CainAndAbel: Attempted to sacrifice Louis to his god, but his brother ran off. [[spoiler: Though ironically, Louis ends up being the one who kills him]].
* ClimaxBoss: Arrbor is the first foe the crew defeats that is a big deal to the world at large. The fact that they killed one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea is a very important achievement for them and his defeat is frequently brought up during the campaign.
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: His fanaticism to his god began once his and Louis’s parents died.
* {{Expy}}: As a maddened Warlord of the Sea with a Paramecia Devil Fruit that allows him to turn people into his slaves, he's essentially the campaign's version of [[Characters/OnePieceSevenWarlordsOfTheSea Gecko Moria]].
* TheFundamentalist: Is obsessed with his god and creating rituals showing his devotion to his deity. [[spoiler: Being that he was a Cousin in The Aeons, the god he referred to may have been Rain]].
* HumanSacrifice: It began with sacrifice small animals, but it quickly descended to sacrificing humans to appease his god. And now he plans to burn countless others within a effigy to his god
* SinisterMinister: Is described as wearing religious garb and is the high priest of his faith.
* GreenThumb: Ate a devil fruit that allows him to manipulate wood.
** SlaveMooks: He can trap his victims in a wooden body that obey him.
** HumongousMecha: His colossal wooden effigy towers over pretty much every other enemy in the entire campaign (other than possibly Sea Kings) and Arrbor can enter it and control the effigy to attack.
* ImprovisedWeapon: In his effigy, he can pick up a tree and use it like a club to clobber people.
* IRejectYourReality: No amount of persuasion can convince him that he is in the wrong or that his brother is alive and in front of him. He just sees it as a test of faith from his god.
* ManipulativeBastard: Tricked Spruce into working under him by hiding the more dirty side of his work from him. To keep his father from blabbing the truth to him, he turned him into a wood being to secretly guard his own son with Spruce none the wiser (Spruce assuming that his father was just missing).
* MightyGlacier: During his boss fight, he’s pretty slow and doesn’t move much, but he had a lot of hit points for the current level the crew were on and hits like a truck.
* WeakToFire: His giant effigy takes double damage to fire. Unfortunately The Timber Lord has many slaves trapped within it, so the crew could not in good conscience exploit that weakness. [[spoiler: But once he returns as a memory in the final battle, Pearl takes full advantage of his weakness]].
! Spruce
Spruce is the weakest of The Timber Lord’s Commanders. That is because he is merely a young boy being manipulated by the Warlord in order to make use of his Devil Fruit.
Spruce ate the Grow Grow Fruit, which allows him to accelerate the growth of plant life.
* BestFriend: Seems to have become a close friend of Magnus once everyone settles down in Ragnarton. Ragnar brings up that Spruce grows the trees and Magnus chops them down.
* DisappearedDad: Be doesn’t know where his father Butters is. Little does he know, his father was with him all along as a wood puppet.
* GreenThumb: Has eaten a fruit that allows him to grow plants quickly.
* HeelFaceTurn: Was never evil in the first place but once he discovers that Arrbor turned his father into a wood puppet, he abandons The Timber Lord.
* MoralityPet: Hemlock seemed to enjoy his company and he in turn called him “Auntie Hemlock”. Hemlock is relieved when the DLP mention that they didn’t kill him.
* NatureLover: Adores nature and plants and his devil allows him to grow plants quickly. He even keeps a greenhouse in his home.
* NiceGuy: Is a very respectful and friendly young boy and invites the crew over for tea. His niceness is the initial reason why the crew chooses to spare him.
* NonActionGuy: Doesn’t really seem to know how to fight and though he sided with the crew, he has no way to help them fight Arrbor. Louis (who didn’t know much about him at the time) referred to him initially as the weakest of Arrbor’s three commanders.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Was always good-hearted. The only reason he was even one of Arrbor’s commanders was because he needed his Devil Fruit power and manipulated him to do his bidding.
! Chuck
One of The Timber Lord’s commanders, Chuck loves more than anything to chop things down with his Greataxe The Mighty One.
* AffablyEvil: He willingly works for a man who willingly commits human sacrifice, but he has that stereotypical Canadian niceness.
* AxCrazy: He seems to view chopping heads and chopping trees as I’m the same light. No big deal.
* BizarreAlienBiology: Weirdly enough bleeds maple syrup as well as blood.
* TheBrute: Is the muscle for The Timber Lord’s crew who doesn’t really think much for himself.
* CanadaEh: Speaks in a stereotypical Canadian accent.
* !HiddenDepths: Had a harmonica on him, implying that he liked to play it when he wasn’t chopping things.
* MightyLumberjack: Is based on a stereotypical lumberjack.He wields The Mighty One, a greataxe that deals double damage to wood and wood-based foes. The perfect tool for a lumberjack.
* VillainousFriendship: He seems to get along fine with Buddy the Wood Puppet (who is actually Magnus).

Ragnar’s beloved wife who was captured by the Steam Punk Pirates and made a slave. She’s the only woman for Ragnar.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Ragnar mentions that he is terrified of an upset Hertha.
* GentleGiant: Is half-giant and towers over Ragnar (an already big guy) but doesn’t seem to be too much of a fighter.
* HappilyMarried: With Ragnar. She is just as relieved to see him as he is her. Ragnar only wants her and she only wants him.
* HighSchoolSweethearts: Her and Ragnar knew each other since their school days. Judging by how old Ragnar IV seems to be, they probably married soon after graduating school.
* InterspeciesRomance: She half-giant but Ragnar is full human. Their marriage results in quarter-giants Ragnar IV and Magnus.
* LongLived: Being half giant, she most likely would outlive most humans. [[spoiler: Though she sadly does not outlive Ragnar]].
* MadeASlave: Eustace Valve sold her, Magnus and the rest of Atlas to King Malachite. Malachite later sells her and her son once again to The Timber Lord.

* RetiredBadass: Was once a soldier back in the day but now he focuses on his smithing job.
* ShoutOut: A pretty obvious one to [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure]]. He even poses like he’s from the series as well when in a good mood.
* UltimateBlacksmith: He somehow brought a guardian spirit of sorts into the Za Wulfo armor. This makes his and his family tree’s smithing skills one of a kind in The One Piece World.

* ActuallyADoombot: His minions are all robots created by Captain Verona. They also explode when destroyed.
* AxCrazy: He and his robots dismember and mutilate those they terrorize and kill. He then sends their remains to Captain Verona to be shipped to G-4.
** Also to show how nuts he is, entry into his circus tent costs either one human life or 100,000 berries.
* CigarChomper: Keeps a cigar in his mouth, which makes him looked jaded and bitter unlike most clowns.
* CircusOfFear: Runs a circus on pyramid island where people are forced to watch innocents get tortured and killed for his amusement and profit.
* EvilIsPetty: Refers to William as Wizzo once he “joins” as an acrobat and tells him to get used to it.
* {{Gonk}}: Even without the clown makeup, he probably wouldn’t be much of a looker.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Despite constantly nicknaming people, he only likes being referred to as Boss Big Bozo.
* {{Jerkass}}: Not only is he a homicidal clown, he’s also a grumpy dickhead.
* MonsterClown: He and his clown robots are far from a fun time. They love to kill, torture and dismember people in front of an audience held against their will.
* TheNapoleon: Is usually a very small guy but can turn very big when angered.
* TheNicknamer: Refer to most people as “Sunshine” and gives new names to anyone working under him such as “Wizzo” for William.
* PerpetualFrowner: Usually has a frown on his face and only seems to smile when watching violence.
* RepulsiveRingmaster: Big Bozo is essentially the ringmaster of his circus, directing his clown robots to perform and/or kill.
* PopGoesTheHuman: Verona causes an explosive barrel to blow up on him, causing him to burst and his organs to fall out.

* DamselInDistress: Is taken by Big Bozo’s clown robots, beaten and was going to be killed and robbed if it wasn’t for William saving her life.
* {{Ojou}}: Is from a rich family on Pyramid Island, which made her a target for the clowns.
* NiceGirl: Seems to be a sweet young woman. She also sees the DLP as angels from god despite their claims otherwise.

A melancholy Marine who is the number two of Captain Verona. He has long fallen out of favor in her eyes and he knows it. His tough lot in life has led to him becoming quite depressed.

* BaldOfAuthority: He is a high-ranking engineer under Captain Verona and has not a single hair on his head.
* TheCynic: Is hardly a positive guy. It’s hard to blame him though when your superior thinks robots are better than you at everything.
* TheEeyore: Working under a heartless woman like Captain Verona, making clown based tech and delivering body parts to G-4 really wore down Gregory’s spirits.
* TheEngineer: Gregory very good with technology and works directly under Captain Verona. Too bad he’s being ordered to make weapons that ultimately threaten civilians.
* EyepatchOfPower: Wears an eyepatch. But unlike most uses of this trope, he’s not particularly tough and he’s not at all threatening once you talk to him.
* HazyFeelTurn: Later leaves the Marines and is last seen hanging out with Jojo. He seems happier for it.
* MrExposition: Provides info ([[FailedASpotCheck though unknowingly]]) to the group about Captain Verona and the operation she was doing with Big Bozo. He just thought he was only venting to a robot.

A Vice Admiral of the Marines and commanding officer of the G-4 base, Arzen delights in running experiments to increase his power. To do this requires experimenting on many unfortunate pirates as well as anyone else he feels he can get away with [[StrappedToAnOperatingTable strapping onto the operating table]]. Few survive this ordeal.

He is also secretly one of the founding members of The Aeons, a group dedicated to finding a way to achieve immortality at all costs. Arzen actually successfully achieves this after nearly dying at G-4, becoming Bio-Arzen.

* ArcVillain: The main antagonist of the G-4 Saga. He is the biggest threat at the G-4 base and both Captain Verona and Commodore Trevor follow his orders.
* AxCrazy: Unhinged is the gentlest way to describe him.
* BadBoss: He makes working under Akainu seem fun in comparison.
** He kills a marine over simply not carrying boxes full of body parts fast enough, melting his insides with his tubes to make an example out of the rest of the Marines under his wing.
** He tears Cyril’s arm off because he wouldn’t tell him how he created a living hand, despite Cyril repeatedly telling him he didn’t make it.
** The troops in G-4 are overheard saying how much they hate G-4 and how miserable it is. Arzen runs G-4 so he is most likely to blame for the dreary atmosphere and low morale.
** Arzen in Episode 18 claims that the only reason he doesn’t experiment on fellow marines is because he isn’t allowed to by his superiors.
** He demotes Trevor for attacking him, even though he was forced to by William (which Arzen knew about).
** As Bio-Arzen, when he attacks the Devil’s Luck Pirates with a goo explosion, he also hits Everest and Fayln as well. Everest was a Cousin of the Aeons and worked under him.
* BeardOfEvil: Big grey beard and very evil.
* TheCasanova: Supposedly in his younger years, he was quite the player [[WordOfGod according to Rustage]].
* CameBackWrong: Was saved from an untimely death by his green goo. This also resulted in him being turned into a slimy abomination.
* CombatSadomasochist: Gets a kick out of hurting others and also doesn’t seem to mind getting injured as well. Though if the wounds have a chance of being fatal, he will take it very personally.
* TheDreaded: Everyone at G-4 is terrified of crossing him.
* EvilutionaryBiologist: Messes with his and others genetics with his green ooze somehow.
** GrowingWings: Can mess with his genes to grow avian wings on his back.
** TemporaryBulkChange: Can make various body parts of his bigger to enhance his strength by injecting himself with his serum.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Was freaked out by V’s sentient armor and shot it into space. The armor eventually found itself on Duros.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Poltely greets his foes/victims but shows nothing but contempt for them. If he hates somebody enough, he won’t even bother with fake pleasantries (like with Cyril).
* ForScience: His experiments are partially to improve himself and to gain immortality. But it mostly seems like he does what he does out of sadism.
* HollywoodAcid: The green fluid in his tank deals acid damage. Once he becomes Bio-Arzen, he is covered in the stuff.
** AcidAttack: His main attack deals acid damage.
** CastFromHitPoints: Bio-Arzen’s strongest attack Goo Explosion also reduces his Hit Points to one.
** MookMaker: Bio Arzen can create goo people to attack for him.
* HumanResources: Arzen uses humans, fishmen, minks and who knows what other tribes in his experiments.
* ImmortalitySeeker: His main motivation for founding the Aeons. He succeeds once he becomes Bio-Arzen. Though he is killed soon after achieving immortality by the Devil’s Luck Pirates.
* AndThenWhat: After gaining immortality, he claims that he might open a bakery now that he achieved his goal. He most likely was being facetious.
* KickTheDog: Ripping Cyril’s arm off, experimenting on Boss, trying to cut off William’s hand. When isn’t he kicking the dog?
* MadScientist: How a guy like him managed to qualify for the Marines is a mystery.
** DeadlyDoctor: Most of his patient do not survive his operations.
** DrJerk: Calling him a jerk would put it mildly. He’s also off his rocker if you haven’t noticed already.
** HerrDoktor: Has a distinct German accent complete with [[GratuitousGerman Gratuitous German]].
** ProfessorGuineaPig: He is more than willing to experiment on himself if need be.
* LordBritishPostulate: When he showed up in G-4, he was meant to be an impossibly powerful foe that the DLP were meant to escape from - however, a lucky Roulette-Roulette roll gave William the ability to create a mind-control collar that he proceeded to attach to the equally as powerful Trevor, forcing him to almost fight him to the death and weakened him enough that Cyril managed to 'kill' him.
* NotQuiteDead: Was presumed dead by the crew and the world at large once Cyril shot him through the heart with an Aqua Pump. But through his science, Arzen managed to return as the slimey (though immortal) Bio-Arzen.
* PutDownYourGunAndStepAway: Realizing he’s been cornered and is about to die for good, Bio Arzen tries to barter for his life by holding Cyril hostage, threatening to kill him if they don’t let him leave. Though the moment he lets go of Cyril to fly away, he is attacked once again, making the attempt pointless.
* {{Revenge}}: Bio-Arzen is still very sore about how the crew (especially Cyril) almost killed him the first time.
* {{Sadist}}: He is always looking for an excuse to hurt someone. Being a Marine just makes finding an excuse easier.
* TheSleepless: Bio-Arzen no longer sleeps, as William with the Sleep Sleep Fruit learned the hard way.
* TheNeedless: If Bio-Arzen was accurate about being truly immortal and loving forever, he might not have needed to even eat or drink anymore either.

* TheSociopath: Possesses many of the traits of a sociopath.
** He doesn’t care about anyone but himself and his science.
** Doesn’t care what anybody thinks of him. Characters calling him mad get his laughter as a reply.
** Is willing to kill or maim people on a whim for the flimsiest of reasons. Just ask Boss or Cyril.
** Uses superficial charm to get his way. He had multiple lovers in the past, but he probably truly cared for none of them.
* TheStarscream: Uses organizations like the Marines or the Aeons long enough to get what he wants then ditches them, consequences be damned.
* UndignifiedDeath: Thrice somehow! Triple the humiliation!
** The first time he “died” was when Cyril (a private turned warrant officer whose arm he tore off earlier that day) shot him though the heart with a blast of water.
** He later officially died when The First Bullet (an animated Bullet of Verona’s) punched Bio-Arzen’s heart out after using his strongest attack. [[CherryTapping He had one hit point]].
** As a memory summoned by Myria, Arzen then died a third time when Heali (a small healing robot) punched him for his last hit point.
* WalkingSpoiler: Arzen returning in The Aeons Saga as a gooey abomination is hard to talk about without giving too much away. Especially when it’s discovered that he’s one of the four founding members of The Aeons.

Verona’s mother who she named after herself. She is a cold and unfeeling Marine Captain who values machines over humans. She is in command of the Marine base at Pyramid Island. She recently got information about where her father V is.

* [[ArchnemesisDad Archnemesis Mom]]: Never really acknowledged her own son Verona and never went to look for him after Viridian was killed. For that she’s dead to him and he doesn’t even acknowledge her when she herself is killed by Hemlock.
* AssholeVictim: Though murdered by an assassin sent by her own father for finding out where he was, nobody shed any tears for when she was killed. Her death especially made Pyramid Island a much safer place. Though nobody knew that her own father turned her into the woman she was thanks to his experiments on her brain.
* AwfulWeddedLife: What her and Viridian saw in one another is a mystery. What is known is that she didn’t give a damn when he died.
** It was later confirmed that the two used to deeply love one another but V tampered with her mind to make her a cold, unloving person. Her husband spent his last few years alive trying to find a way to return her to normal.
* {{Cyborg}}: Was turned into a cyborg by her own father V. She also believes that robots are superior to humans.
* DirtyCop: Uses Big Bozo (a pirate) to terrorize the people of Pyramid Island and take their money to fund her experiments. In exchange, she supplies Big Bozo with equipment and robots while turning a blind eye to his crimes. Big Bozo also gives her the body parts of his victims for use at G-4.
* ElectronicEyes: She possesses robotic eyes in place of organic ones. As an added bonus, she cannot be blinded now. She can [[EyeBeams shoot lasers]] from her eyes that are powerful enough to boost the speed of a marine ship when attached to them.
** RedEyesTakeWarning: Naturally, her robotic eyes are bright red for maximum intimidation factor.
* LackOfEmpathy: Love and caring are alien to her. Her subordinates and her own son know this all too well.
* MadScientist: Though much less hammy than Arzen, Captain Verona is a cruel scientist seeking to perfect the art of robotics while also seeking to harness Devil Fruit Powers into her work.
* RobotMaster: Created many clown robots that almost have minds of their own. She also thinks that robots make better soldiers as well. Judging by how she seemed to want to experiment on the crew (with Arzen offering her Pearl), she seems more than willing to make cyborgs out of people as well.
* ParentalNeglect: Cared little if at all for her own son. Waiting for her for weeks in the woods only for her to never show up was the point when the young Verona realized that she never loved him.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Her son takes after her with his fascination with gadgets, though not to her extreme extent. Likewise she inherited her fascination with robotics from her father V.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: She found where V and the Eight Flames were located. V sent Hemlock and Blake to kill her to keep her mouth shut.
* UnwillingRoboticisation: [[WordOfGod Rustage has confirmed]] that her father V experimented with and “robofied” her mind over a decade before the campaign began. He did this in an attempt to do immortality experiments on the human brain.

* MrExposition: If anybody needs info on something in the Oasis, he is the guy to talk to. And if he doesn’t know something, he knows somebody who does.
* WillTalkForAPrice: As payment for his services, he wants valuable information first. Ragnar having an Eight Flames candle is enough.
* MeaningfulName: [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment Helper helps and is very helpful]].
* NerdGlasses: Wears a pair of glasses that makes him look a lot like Rustage himself.
* NiceGuy: Is an honest enough fellow who tries his best to help those around him.
* NonActionGuy: Doesn’t seem to have any fighting ability. But since he works under Big Top and is an overall swell fella, nobody tries to harm or threaten him.
* PerpetualSmiler: Is rarely seen without a presentable smile on his face
* StepfordSmiler: Much of his smiling is forced in order to give a positive impression of The Oasis.

* HasAType: Has a thing for people with animal traits. She was once in a relationship with The Elephant, shows some attraction to Ragnar (who is a bear Zoan) and dated Boss (who had animal parts grafted onto him).
* HazyFeelTurn: Stops trying to manipulate the crew after they stop her from controlling their captain but she is still a casino don and desires wealth above all else.
* MagicallyBindingContract: She ate the Contract Contract Fruit, which allows those who signs a contract she makes to do what she pleases.
** LeonineContract: Those who sign her contracts must follow what was said on the contract, even if it’s against their will.
** ReadTheFinePrint: Her contracts are vague enough that she could get people to do whatever she wants if necessary.
** TearUpTheContract: The only way to free someone under her control is to tear the contract up.
** TrickedIntoSigning: Most people under her contract might not have known they were signing one (like William). It got bad enough that residents in The Oasis don’t even use contracts anymore for deals.
* [[MrsRobinson Ms. Robinson]]: Seems a bit older than most of the crew and is still a very lovely curvaceous woman.
* OhCrap: When Verona takes out the seastone handcuffs to force Roulette to free William, she tries to laugh it off as a joke but it’s obvious she knew she was cornered.
* OldFlame: Her and The Elephant were and item once (try not to think too hard about it). But now they are bitter rival dons and frequently steal from one another.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: More like red eye but she has heterochromia and one of her eyes is bright red.
* SmokingIsCool: She is a smoker but it makes her look suave.
* SmugSnake: A bit of a [[DownplayedTrope downplayed]] example, but she definitely was not expecting Verona to have seastone cuffs on him and thought she had the crew by the balls before that. Luckily, she was smart enough to surrender and the crew mostly forgave her.
* WorkingWithTheEx: Fights alongside The Elephant during the [[spoiler: coup against Big Top]].

* CruelElephant: He’s an elephant Mink and is pretty bitter and aloof much of the time.
* ElephantsNeverForget: He holds a grudge against William and the rest of the crew for stealing “his” diamond and for blasting him in the face with a smoke bomb. It takes a lot of persuasion to get him to join the Oasis Thanksgiving.
* HazyFeelTurn: Joins in helping overthrow Big Top but like Roulette and The Prospector, they mostly just care about their bottom line.
* HotSkittyOnWailordAction: It’s better not to think how the relationship between him and Roulette worked.
* OldFlame: Had a relationship with fellow don Roulette for a while but broke it off. Now the two casinos are enemies. Though it’s somewhat implied that he still cares about her deep down.
* NoNameGiven: He is only known as The Elephant. If he has a real name or if his title is his actual name is not known.
* PetTheDog: Though he is generally unfriendly to the DLP, he adores Gravy. Because “everyone loves Gravy”.
* ScarsAreForever: Has a scar over his eye after William launched a smoke bomb at his face.
* StrawVegetarian: Is explicitly a vegetarian, to join his casino you must become vegetarian and he looks down on meat eaters.
* TookALevelInCynic: Bullet mentioned that he’s changed over the years since she’s seen him last. Perhaps the politics of The Oasis wore down his more idealistic side.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: He is supposedly a Schnobleglok (whatever that is). His substance skills are almost magical in nature as well.
* BerserkButton: He doesn’t like it when people don’t remember his name.
* CloneDegeneration: The purple substance creates an exact clone of the drinker that lasts for a limited time.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Working on his substances drove him bonkers if he wasn’t already nuts before. He also accepts kisses as payment and all the clocks in his store are set to 4:20.
* ForcedTransformation: The blue substance turns those who drink it into a liquid who cannot move but are still alive.
* IncredibleShrinkingMan: The yellow substance turns the drinker tiny.
* LovePotion: The red substances makes the drinker fall for the first person they see.
* MadScientist: He’s wacky, but his potions work like a charm. He just doesn’t know what will happen until after somebody drinks them.
* MagicPotion: His Special Substances are pretty much these.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: His potions do not follow normal rules at all. But it is One Piece, where lots of things are nigh unexplainable.
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: The green substance allows those who drink it to speak to animals.
