So-named for the series of steps it creates to summon its sectaries, the Stair Shaper is a life form alien to the Monster World. That said, it shares some important similarities with the Collosals: its aspirations to create life and its musical affinity. Thus, it came to devise the novel mode of transportation called Transposition: it can vibrate matter at a different musical key and cause it to 'step' up or down to access new physical states. The statue that resides on the Nexus is but one of many forms that the Stair Shaper can take, but this form is best-suited to receive Transposed Magicals and vibrate them at the proper frequency to ensure maximum compatibility. Don't panic - even though the sensation of being Transposed to a different state of being can be disorienting, it's worth the trip.
----
*BigGood: When the Stair Shaper learned of the Colossal's history, it dispatched like-minded titanic beings it recruited in it's travels to integrate with the monster world - beings who are all but stated to be none other than Phosphora, Cruv'laapht, Faesodd, and Necrull, leading to the creation of the Magical monsters that live atop them.
*ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: Transposing a magical monster to the Nexus lets loose one of the butterflies found at the magical location, and while the monster doesn't die, it can't be transferred back to its home island in the game, having been "reborn" in a new state of matter. The description for the Nexus also says that the magicals "meet their maker", which while literal here with the monsters still being alive and well, is a phrase often used to mean someone has died.
*LivingStatue: The form it takes while residing at Magical Nexus is a statue, to help receive the magical monsters that get there through transposition.
*MonsterProgenitor: Like the Colossals, the Stair Shaper has aspirations for creating life, and musical affinity. The description for the Magical Nexus describes the Magical monsters meeting the Stair Shaper at the Nexus as meeting their maker.
*OurFounder: Played with, in that the statue of the Stair Shaper on Magical Nexus, a location it created, is actually the Stair Shaper itself, in the form of a statue.
*OurTitansAreDifferent: While not as big as the Colossals and not from the monster world, it shares some similarities with them, and is an associate of the magic island titans.
*PhysicalGod: An enigmatic entity of many forms that hitchhikes across galaxies looking for intelligent life to commune with, that like the Colossals has aspirations to create life and musical affinity, and uses transposition (a mode of transportation it came up with) to cause matter to "step" up or down to access new physical states. It also created the Magical Nexus, and many of the unique features of the Nexus (no need for beds, currency rewards are harmonized and collected from a single source instead of individual monsters, etc.) are stated to be because that's just how the Stair Shaper wanted it to be. It takes the form of a statue on Magical Nexus, which is stated to be just one of the many forms it can take.
*ShapeShifting: The Stair Shaper is noted to have many forms. The statue form it takes on while residing at the Magical Nexus is the form best suited to receive transposed Magicals and make their state of matter compatible with the Nexus.
*SpaceIsMagic: The Stair Shaper is a powerful magic alien being (to the monster world) capable of interstellar travel through use of its powers, and is the MonsterProgenitor of the Magical monsters.
*TopGod: In a way to the Titans that became the Magical islands, as it recruited them during it's travels and had the authority (or at least enough sway) to dispatch them to the monster world after learning of what happened to the Colossals.

Bio.

to:

Bio.Just when you thought you knew everything there was to know about the Monster World, something unexpected drops out of the sky... literally. Hurtling through the atmosphere and crash-landing atop the head of a heretofore unknown Colossal, features of this archaic setting seem to echo those of Starhenge, a mystical structure from ancient times. It was traditionally the lofty perch of the Celestials, luminous beings that shared a connection with the Monster World and the cosmic energies beyond; but...those were just stories...right?

* GentleGiant: Possibly more so than the other Colossals, as (presumably,) non of the others gained their inhabitants via a crash-landing into their noggin, yet it’s just as calm.
* HeavySleeper: Another possibility, based on its earplugs, is that the Unknown Colossal is so deep in sleep that it didn’t even notice the Magitek platform crashing into it, or the celestials awakening & discovering each other (in Plixie’s case, with explosives).

Located in a Pocket Dimension of the multiverse, it is home to Monsters unlike any that have been seen or heard before. Oozing with mysterious substances and orbited by objects of ominous origin, you won't be able to resist the sublime wonder of its song!\\
So this is how the other half lives… literally! For all of recorded Monster history, the Ethereal class has been confined to Single- and Double-Elementals… until the establishment of the Workshop. Located inside Ethereal Island and doubling as the 'brain' of the Colossal Zarroë, it's actually superimposed on the abandoned ruins of another entity's laboratory. Here, Zarroë has achieved the impossible and brought to life Triple-Element Ethereals (and beyond) using the unpredictably powerful Meebs and strange new Structures of its own invention. The Colossal's goal? To create a symphony of synthetic sounds worthy of the name Workshop!

There's a special feeling one gets when beholding Light Island for the first time-some have described it as 'deLightful" or 'enLightening'-but we think that 'Light-headed' works best! Framed by the wondrous phenomenon of the Aurora Monstralis, the Magical Island's Titan, Phosphora does not reside in one place-instead it migrates around the Monster World! It is also suspected to hail from another dimension, one where the Magical Element of Light shares characteristics with other luminous residents. At rest, the Light Elementals are among the shyest and drabbest in the Monster World, but once they start singing, they and the visiting Natural and Fire Monsters harmonize to create an eye-popping, 'Light-hearted' chorale!

While the Monsters were waiting for reinforcements to explore more of Fire Frontier, a previously unknown group of beings suddenly appeared on the island's surface. Introducing themselves as Psychic Elementals, they explained that the island itself was actually an enormous entity known as Cruv'laapht. Records indicated that the Titan had moved in to fill the void left by a cosmic island from ancient times that had one day simply blipped out of time and space. Content to harmonize with their new Psychic pals, word was relayed back to the other Monsters to divert their efforts to the continued exploration of the Monster World. Team Psychic for the win!
Now that Fire Monsters have reclaimed their rightful place on the surface of the Monster World with the other Monsters, the next logical step is to explore more of that world! At first glance, Earth Island seems almost inhospitable. The air is humid and a bit stifling, and care must be taken not to step in a puddle of molten magma. Upon closer inspection, however, one can plainly see that it's the perfect venue for belting out monster tunes that really put the rock in rocking!

!! Colossals & Titans
Colossals and Titans are the foundation of the Monster World, no really, they are. Well, sort of, they're spirits that inhabit the foundations of every island in-game, giving each island a face. Currently, the majority of them are slumbering but some can be woken up with the use of the Coloss-Eye. As for Titans, though similar to Colossals, they aren't as powerful and are the islands themselves instead of simply inhabiting them as spirits. Titans are also all awake.

* BigGood: The “guiding magic” of the Colossals is what saved the monsters when the continent broke apart. Originally the earth, water, cold, plant, and air element monsters thought that the fire elemental monsters had perished, but it turns out they survived thanks to Fire Haven.
* GeniusLoci: They are the islands.
* GentleGiant: They are the biggest creatures seen, with great power, but they are very calm despite monsters living on them.
* MonsterProgenitor: The Colossals created the first monsters (not counting the celestials who were already their own thing), which overtime eventually adapted & evolved into the monsters seen in the original game and Dawn of Fire.
* OurTitansAreDifferent: Gigantic beings with immense magic power that monsters live on. There isn’t a lot currently that explains the big difference between Colossals and Titans, but Cruv'laapht‘s description implies that the two can be close enough in appearance and function to mistake one for another.
** It’s possibly possible for Titans to transcend and become Colossals, as Enchantler had aspirations to become one, but, for whatever reason, found it to be impossible.
** There is a great deal of variety among the titans themselves, from the aquatic, long lived glubbers, to the yeti-like Swetis, and many more.
* PhysicalGod: The Colossals created the first monsters after being inspired by the Celestials, saved monsters living on the continent when a multi-universe cataclysm tore the place apart, and currently serve as the main islands where the natural & fire monsters live.
* TimeAbyss: Titans are exceptionally long lived.
* WordOfGod: Some of the info on them is revealed during the weekly livestream run by the games developers.

header:Dipsters

A class of Monsters that have the Dipster element. Unlike most monsters, they cannot be bred, so they can only be purchased through the shop.
->Bio:
Timid in the light, Dipsters make their homes underground. The muffled monster music from above gives Dipsters the courage to rise and join the harmonious melody! ... although it may only be one note at a time. Dipsters are resourceful creatures, and collect natural materials to disguise the entrances to their tunnels. No one knows how far down a Dipster hole goes.

!!Colossals
----

* PhysicalGod: The Colossals created the first monsters after being inspired by the Celestials, saved monsters living on the continent when a multi-universe cataclysm tore the place apart, and currently serve as the main islands where the natural (& fire) monsters live.
* TimeAbyss: Titans are exceptionally long lived.
* WordOfGod: Some of the info on them is revealed during the weekly livestream run by the games developers.

The new home of the Celestials as of My Singing Monsters after Starhenge crashed - right into its head.
----
* GentleGiant: Possibly more so than the other Colossals, as (presumably,) non of the others gained their inhabitants via a crash-landing into their noggin, yet it’s just as calm.
* HeavySleeper: Another possibility, based on its earplugs, is that the Unknown Colossal is so deep in sleep that it didn’t even notice the Magitek platform crashing into it, or the celestials awakening & discovering each other (in Plixie’s case, with explosives).

A Titan acting as the homeland of the Psychic element monsters, Psychic Island. Originally named the Fire Frontier when the other monsters explored it, and at first thought to be a Colossal, Cruv'laapht is heavily implied to have moved into the spot left behind by space island. Added during the game’s 7th anniversary.
----
* ExtraEyes: It has several eyes.
* LovecraftLite: Its name & overall design bring to mind the Lovecraft mythos.
* PsychicPowers: It is the homeland of the Psychic element monsters.
* PunnyName: Cruv'laapht sounds a lot like “Lovecraft” but with the “L” and “Cr” switched around.

Titans that are tended to by monastic critters that live on their heads. The Sweti Settlement is a skin for Cold Island that can be bought in-game with either diamonds, or real money.
----
* BigfootSasquatchAndYeti: Are based off of the Yeti.
* EyesOutOfSight: Their hair always covers their eyes, although the glow of their eyes shine through.
* GlowingEyes: Their eyes have a chilly blue glow.
* SecretKeeper: Every Sweti settlement keeps one fact about the Swetis secret from outsiders to preserve the dignity of their hosts: the “snow” is actually just dandruff.
* SlippySlideyIceWorld: It appears to be covered in snow, but it’s just dandruff. Since Titans are quite large, it’s likely cold enough on top of their heads for visiting monsters to think it is though.

A great stone scribe with the ability to engrave events from the monster world’s history into its own body. The Temple of Hahoo is a skin for Earth Island that can be bought in-game with either diamonds, or real money.
----
* AncientEgypt: Its overall buildings aesthetic.
* LanguageBarrier: Its extensive recordings of the history of the monster world all the way back to the Dawn of Fire, are unfortunately written in a language only known to Hahoo.
* IAmNotShazam: The Titan isn't actually named "Hahoo" according to Hyehehe's bio.
* RockMonster: The Titanis the temple.
* ShiftingSandLand: Hahoo has quite the expanse of sand on the top of its head.

A Titan who has lots of fruits and vegetables growing on top of it. Vegetable medly is a skin for plant island that can be bought in-game with either diamonds, or real money.
----
* Pun: The description for the Vegetable Medly skin is full of vegetable puns.

!!In General
A type of Titan that goes through several stages throughout its life, similar to that of frogs.
----
* KrakenAndLeviathan: Glubbers can grow to be Leviathan-like creatures, big enough for monsters to live on them.
* LanguageBarrier: Like Hahoo, Monsters have no way to communicate with Glubbers.
* WordOfGod: Most of the info on Glubbers and their lifecycle was revealed in episode #74 of “My Singing Monsters Live”, a weekly livestream run by the monster handlers (the game devs).
!!The Gargantuan Glubber (Glubber Lagoon/Party Island)
A Glubber Titan that appears in My Singing Monsters as an adult, in the form of Glubber Lagoon, and in the prequel Dawn of Fire as Party Island, during an earlier stage of its life. The Glubber Lagoon is a skin for water island that can be bought in-game with either diamonds, or real money.
----
* TimeAbyss: Was merely in its Glubpole stage during the Dawn of Fire, and is a full grown Glubber by the time it’s seen in My Singing Monsters, which takes place a long time after the world-shattering cataclysm that broke apart the continent.
* WordOfGod: The developers confirmed in a livestream (episode #74 of My Singing Monsters Live), that it is Party Island from Dawn of Fire, and Glubber Lagoon in My Singing Monsters, just at different points in its life.

Gigacheeps are bird-like titans that upon reaching maturity, leave their coops to make & fill their own nests atop their heads. Gigacheep Nest is a skin for Air island that can be bought in-game with either diamonds, or real money.
----
* BirdPeople: Adult Gigacheeps combine avian features with the vaguely humanoid appearance shared by other titans.
* GeniusLoci: Gigacheeps that reach maturity and leave their coops become “Empty Nesters”, that have island-sized nests atop their heads.
* GentleGiant: Adult Gigacheeps specifically look for monster friends to fill & live in their empty nests after leaving their coop.
* WordOfGod: It was confirmed in the "Season of love 2020 After Party" livestream, that the small birds seen in the Gigacheep nests are baby Gigacheeps, and that Gigacheeps are indeed Titans.

A Titan standing in twinkling twilight and swirling mists, home to the Faerie element monsters. Added to the first game alongside the Dawn Of Fire 2.0 update.
----
* CoolMask - Wears a feathery blue mask large enough for its face.
* LandOfFaerie: A place decked with gigantic mushrooms, magical rocks, and the Faerie element monsters.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: It is the home of the Faerie element monsters.

The Titan whom the Bone elementals call home. Possibly what became of Cave Island when the continent broke apart.
----
* DemBones: is the home of the Bone elemental monsters.

The titan on which the light elemental monsters live.
----
* DimensionalTraveler: Is suspected in-universe to be from an alternate magical dimension where the other residents share characteristics with the magical light element.
* LightEmUp: Is the home of light element monsters.

A titan who had aspired to transcend and become a colossal, but found the goal impossible to achieve, and founded a home for purely magical monsters atop its head in a pocket dimension after fleeing there.
----
* GlowingEyes: Its eyes glow a magical, somewhat eerie shade of blue
* PocketDimension: Fled to the same one inhabited by the ethereals of Ethereal island after failing to become a colossal, and founded the Magical Sanctum.
* PowerGlows: Monstromantic energies course through Enchantlers antlers, in the same eerie yet enchanting shade of blue as its eyes.

Currently located in the living core of the monster world, the Fire Colossal provided a safe haven (Fire Haven) for fire element monsters during the cataclysm that broke apart the continents.\\\

When the present-day monsters got together to make a home for fire element monsters on the surface, they created Fire Oasis, which became inhabited by half of the Fire Colossal’s spirit.\\\

Amber Island is the two halves of the Fire Colossal’s spirit reunited, existing on the same plane of existence as Gold Island. Amber Island is something of a "seed vault", where magical vessels are stored, that can bring fire element monsters from the dawn of fire back into existence.
----
* CreatingLifeIsUnforeseen: What happens with the monster-made island Fire Oasis, as it was shaped in the image/based off of Fire Haven, but was just created so that fire element monsters could have a place to live on the surface, nothing more. The Fire Colossal’s spirit splitting in two and the second half inhabiting & giving life to Fire Oasis just kind of . . . happened.
* GeniusLoci: Holds the distinction of being three islands at the same time.
* PhysicalGod: The Fire Colossal is notably different from its brethren in that with its spirit split in halves for Fire Haven and Fire Oasis, it has two physical bodies.
* PlayingWithFire: Is the Fire Colossal.
* WordOfGod: In one of the livestreams, monster handler Matt confirms that the creation of Fire Oasis caused the Fire Colossal’s spirit to split in half, giving the artificially made island life.

Dipster hole goes.

header:Dipsters

A class of Monsters that have the Dipster element. Unlike most monsters, they cannot be bred, so they can only be purchased through the shop.
->Bio:

!!Colossals
----
* BigGood: The “guiding magic” of the Colossals is what saved the monsters when the continent broke apart.
