* TheAce: After years in the time loop, Zorian has become exceptionally dependable to the point where he did what even Zach couldn’t. He's still lacking in raw power however.
* AntiHero: Though relatively mild, Zorian focuses on being more pragmatic than the time travelers in order to catch up resulting in him dabbling in some forbidden fields of magic.
* AttackAnimal: Zorian is a specialist in {{Golem}} [[RobotMaster making]] and often use them in fight. He also use [[{{mons}} monsters]] he subdues with mind magic, or confined in a ball he will throw to his opponent.
* TheArchmage: Zorian has no real specialty except for spell formulas and mind magic, which themselves are either ignored or extremely hard to master without naturally occurring ability Zorian has.

* BewareTheMindReader: Everyone become aware of Zorian when they realize how good he is with mind magic. It's justified since you can't progress in this field without practice.

** Lampshaded. He once had a crush on Taiven but due to [[spoiler: him being stuck in a time loop for years, his emotions have mellowed]], and he only wants to be friends with her. The two of them eventually go on a date, in chapter 72.

* CovertPervert: A pretty tame example. Zorian has been shown to ogle is classmates, but he likes to be subtle about it, and it won’t take up his priorities.

* DeadpanSnarker: Zorian almost always has choice words of whatever situation he has been put in.
* DebtDetester: Zorian did everything he could to pay back the peoples who helped him inside the time loop.

* TheEngineer: Zorian is a master artificers, at the end of the time loop he may be the best in this field, especially considering the advantages of his mental enchancements explained below.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Zorian has shown very pragmatic, to the point of doing some pretty dubious things. He has also shown to not be the friendliest towards people. However, he has also shown to hold himself to both a level of social etiquette and has never gone too far with his actions. He has shown to be both merciful and remorseful.

* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: He and Damien are the responsible to Fortov—and to a lesser extent Kirelle’s, foolish sibling.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Zach
* InvisibilityWithDrawbacks: Can turn himself invisible with magic. However, he cannot move to quickly or get hurt or the spell boundary will break.

* SquishyWizard: Most combat mages in the series work on their physical capabilities. Before the time loop, Zorian had little interest in working out his body and due to the nature of time loop, he is unable to improve his strength.
* SuperIntelligence: His mind magic allow him to use several mental enhancements he developped thanks to his simulacrums. For example, in chapter 98, he proves he can visualize in an instant something he want to make like a computer: ''"spotting a few possible flaws and failure points", "quickly went through a lengthy series of complicated calculation inside his head", "repeated the process several times, gradually refining the design"''. He can also decode a text in an instant as long as he knew the key, maintaining focus over long periods of time, has PhotographicMemory...

* WeakButSkilled: Compared to many of the other characters, Zorian has a pitiful mana reserves. As a result, he is forced to be far more skillful at his spells and tricks in order to survive in a fight. This is best exemplified when he [[spoiler:defeats the Quatach-Ichl, something not even Zach could do.]]
* WildCard: Red Robe controlled everything before he entered in the loop.

* ArtifactOfPower: He possesses the Crown of the First Emperor, a unique divine artifact that allows him to store his own mana, [[AmplifierArtifact increasing his already insane reserve]]. It is also a part of the [[SwordOfPlotAdvancement key]] needed to unlock the Sovereign Gate.

* OneWingedAngel: Through his experiments he gain the ability to shift into a mix of a Dragon and a Troll, he used it when Zorian managed to corner him after several loops. He doesn't control this form, it activate when he [[HulkingOut loses his temper]].
