* OddFriendship: With Miyu. You'd think they would be at each others throats, but nope. It's strained by the end of Chapter 4, however, thanks to Takako harassing Miyu's other friends.

* ArtAttacker: As revealed during the dance event, one of her spells allows her to shoot oil paint at a target.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: Averted after [[spoiler:her near-death experience]], after which Miyu has severe facial bruising that lasts for a significant amount of time. She also has various bruises on her limbs from accidents in the dungeon.

His real name is revealed during the Chapter 3 trial to be Shizuka Matsuoka, making it also a case of EmbarrassingFirstName.

* NervesOfSteel: It's surprising how well-composed he is when faced with the advent of the Mutual Killing Game. Not to mention how terrifying he is when he's angry.
* NiceGuy: While stern and no-nonsense when faced with certain situations, ultimately he's this. He makes a conscious effort to be polite and charming to most.

The Kyushu-born Suzukis, who claim to be related to the old Suzuki Conglomerate, have built their own fortunes upon furniture businesses and art sales. The current heiress is Miyu Suzuki, eldest child of the head of the family. Despite this, for most of her life Miyu refused to let the media know too many details about her career aspirations or her personal life, leaving rumors to fill her absence. One year ago she suddenly appeared in the art community, unheard of as a painter until her work was anonymously featured in her aunt’s gallery. It was the fame of Akahana Suzuki, former SHSL Museum Curator, that had drawn in crowds for the exhibition of teenage artist.
